The Volcano
The Basenji

Would it be possible to get the very first volcano revived (It was deleted in the purge) and get it put up into the archive? That's the thread that started the entire thing. Correct me if I'm wrong, but with having at least 3,000 pages, the volcano is the biggest thread ever in the history of NS.
Let's give it a proper resting place. :)

More then that. I rounded it. The very first thread had a few hundered, then was deleted. After that, there have been about 50-60 more topic, each containing 65 pages. It's probably closer to 3,700- 4,000, but you get the point.
It was a big big big big thing.

And probably most of the posts in the Volcano were made by NEE!
Anyway, I too, as a regaular volcanoer, like to see the first volcano in archives.

The archive was not really intended for idle conversation. Its objective is more along the lines of saving threads that may be useful in the future.

It would be a little counter-productive to keep around a thread that was famous mainly for being long. The reason we purge the forums is to keep them (reasonably) responsive.
