Could animated sig pics be prohibited? They are very distracting when viewing threads. I don't mind sig pics usually (Eridanus notwithstanding), but animated pics are a little much.

And the slower connections have to load them, which cab get annoying. Not saying I have a slow connection....

Well, although I think that sig pics slow down a thread and lengthen the page, I know that some people take great pride in their pics(some of which I can understand why). Perhaps it should just be considered part of netiquette that sig pics be posted only only once per page of topic?

Nah, you just copy it and press ctrl+v at the end of every post! I also have it saved on a word document, spaces and all. It's really quite easy.

It's just not the kind of thing I'd be good at. For one thing I use the clipboard to much, and for another I'd always forget to open it up when I logged on.

How can a picture slow down a thread? Especially in RP's where you have many characters, sig pics enhance the thread, and are sometimes even essential to keeping one character straight from another. Want to look for the last post about that certain character? Find the last picture of that character!

I only post my Animated sig ocassionally, usually if I post a pic sig I use mnt flag, and its 5.5 K
