How Do I Become a Moderator?
If you regularly make helpful posts in the forums, especially the Technical Forum, the mods and I will notice you. Once you've established a reputation, you can let one or two moderators know that you are interested in modding. The next time we want to add more moderators, we will discuss various candidates and make a decision. If you are chosen, I will e-mail you an invitation.
You should not hassle the mods, or be too demanding: this will disqualify you. We want moderators who are interested in helping other players, and able to deal with the quite stressful job of handling large numbers of player complaints and problems without losing their cool. To become a moderator you must demonstrate that you fit that description.
Just a note: Don't ask to be a Mod. That usually only hurts your chances.
