Griefers aka Sota/GLA in the Imperial Commonwealth

14-11-2003, 21:28
The griefers include but not excluding other people:

Scandisnavien, 3 am Eternal, Svirre, WLIIA, -Drakma-, Lorte-land, and Grivinis

8)

They finally show their real colors and griefing nations. Please warn them to leave our peceful and humble region in pecace and not to expell and then password-protect the region like they have done in the past to so many other regions

Thank you mods for being fair and balanced and impartial.

yeah they attacked several regions over the last few days,
14-11-2003, 21:40
See? Even the delegate from The East Pacific agrees that they have been attacking regions.

This is an in-game issue, therefore please file a report using the getting help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help) page.

Also, do not accuse nations publically if the rule violation isn't easily verifyable by players. Personally, I don't see any rule violations by these people, nor do you present any evidence of rule violations. I'm not even sure what kind of griefing you're refering to here. Different rule violations are all covered under the term 'griefing'.

An explanation of the alleged griefing would be helpful? Perhaps some facts of our exploits? Anything?

Have we passworded the region? No.
Have we spammed the boards? No.
Have we changed the World-Fact Book? No.

I'm glad you've brought this up in the forum. Nothing would make us happier then you revealing that the Imperial Commonwealth is so weak that it was taken by a group of region defenders on a whim.

Good luck with the MODS. I recommend you read the rules on what is illegal and what is not illegal. It might help you in the long run.

If we have done anything illegal, which we haven't, we'll go along with the MODS. If not, thank you for highlighting your impotence. You can raid regions and claim them into your Commonwealth, but you can't keep the home fires safe. Good Luck. Cheers.

Good Luck!

I saw a couple of invasions first hand and up close - annoying as hell but nothing illegal/against the rules. They can do it, so more power to em.

Thank you. We are very careful about the rules.

For the record... the 'invasions' were to prevent groups like the IC and others who raid regions and then try to keep them under the guise of bringing order to anarchy (or sum such crap).

We go into the same region as the raiders. We infor the natives they are under attack. If nescessary, we assume the delegate seat and boot the invaders, PW and T-gram the PW to the natives then leave.

The natives keep their region and no harm is caused. It's called region defense... it's the same as raiding... we just have a much nicer exit strategy.

Thanks Rot! You've made my day.

You have been chosen, IC, as a particularly worthy recipient of your own medicine, defender style. We will not employ the deceptive or misleading tactics you have used, there is no need.

Thank you for displaying our names in lights at the begining of this thread. It is actually a badge of honor to crash some crashers who should now reexamine what they thought they knew, and relearn their craft. Your security is just poor.

Well thanks for being our whipping-nations again.

Oh yes and thanks for publicly allowing the whole world to see just how much more effective we are than your organization. As a point of inquiry, where was the last place The IC actually won? Who keeps stopping you?

Good work to the Collective.

I defy you to name one single instance that I have lied. Give it a rest. You simply show your true colors by making such an absurd and proposterous accusation. This will go a long way in making me king of the defenders. Did I say that out loud?

How about your length monolouges on how bad invasions are and the nations that preform them? I guess the ends justify the means and your own hypocrasy shows how hollow your own statements truely are.

Grivinis, Drakma, and Rot Representative: You are all warned for flamebaiting and trolling each other.

Rot Representative: This was not the manner in which you should have brought this complaint. We have the Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help) page for a reason.

Keep in mind that both invaders and defenders are essentialy the same; Both organize in a military style, both attempt to take over regions(though the events afterward vary), and both disregard the movement of RP forces. The difference is simply that defenders have chosen to play the role of the "good guys" and invaders the "bad guys". So do not be too surprised when they switch their roles occasionally.
