Racist report
I find the nation of "schorgenland" offensive, this is taken from someone that is Jewish and talking about a "joke" that someone played on them.
Jew, can you guess how much I care ? Meanwhile here whites get beaten up because we are whitey, while you are complaining about a symbol. Perhaps you can go to Israel, you'll avoid all this potential harmful stuff.

heres a all his posts, basicly all are anti-semitic
I'm really tired of it. PLease deal with him in a way you feel is needed.
He's been around for a while, and his political views are allowed, if maybe not all that well liked. Don't expect to much in the way of mod action, he doesn't really insult anyone in particular.

I locked his most recent thread this morning, I think, and have issued an official warning for some serious trolling. If he posts another thread like that, please post a link here, and the matter will be dealt with if he is judged to have crossed a line.

No he just insults millions of people about their beliefs.

No he just insults millions of people about their beliefs.
Which is perfectly aloud, so long as he keeps it generalized and relatively clean.

But should it be?

Look, if he posts something unambiguously trolling, flame-baiting, etc, link to it here. Otherwise, don't post. I sense that this is about to drift into yet another discussion about what beliefs the expression of which society should (not) tolerate. The place for that, amongst other things, is the General Forum. The Moderation Forum is for reports of forum rule violations, the clarification of Moderator actions, etc. Not politics.

TG, can I respectfully ask, is this not the place where one might question moderation policy? Or does one not do so at all? If I have concerns, how/where do I address them?
We'll see what TG says, but it would seem a bit odd to discuss game structure and dynamics in the General, and this forum has been used for discussing rules in the past. I think, maybe, TG fears this might errupt in a flame war, tho we'll see what he says...

 If you do it too often it could be considered Mod-harrasment...

Questioning the rules isn't a bad thing, if that's what your asking. Unless your trying to trap the mod, or make him/her look stupid. Then it's a bad thing.
But if your truely confused, or want to verify something, then it's perfectly ok.

And so the paw of judgment falls upon the flamers, spammers, and just all around hosers of NS.

Yes, of course, if your a game mod. But [violet] would just restore the mods and IP ban you from the site. But I don't think we have to worry about this happening anytime soon, if ever.

I don't like Schorgenland at all. I find him to be very 'nasty' and do not believe that he should be allowed here on NS. However, he is clever enough, like some other Nazi nations, to express his opinions and beliefs without actually expressing them, if you get what I mean.

I'm going to wait for an official ruling on this. I'm not trying to be a smartass, I simply want to express my concerns in the appropriate way.

The rules have not changed. There are racist players, and they do say things from a perspective of racial prejudice. However, a wide range of political debate is permitted, provided it does not break any of the rules regarding flaming, flame-baiting, trolling, incitement to violence or criminal activity, etc. The player in question broke the trolling rules and has been warned. Further violations may well incur Game Mod action. However, no nations can be deleted purely on the basis of their political beliefs.

Thank you. Is it possible to ask him to refrain from using the word 'Jew' as a 'curse' word please?

Well, if you see him using "Jew" as an insult, please post a link here and we will take a look. I suppose it would constitute flame-baiting.

That’s Crap.
I don't hate you.
Besides, who give a poo what that lot think anyway. SO is quite right, that is beyond baiting of any kind. You can almost hear the venom in his words.

Which is why he has been warned. Now, if he were to post something like that again, further action would be taken. But so far, nothing new has come to our attention.

Always glad to clear things up for a fellow Ambrosiaite.
*ahem*
Just to elaborate on what TG said:
Trolling can be a little difficult to determine for topics about extremely controversial political views. If I, personally, take notice of topics where a particular player/nation is starting topics to post extremely controversial material and consistently not responding to attempts to debate such material, then I will come to the conclusion that the poster does not really hold such points of view and is only posting such material for the sake of trolling. I will then lock such topics and warn the poster accordingly.
If you feel that anyone following such a pattern (posting extreme views but not debating them), then please alert us to it. Thank you.
