First a mod deleted a Cartoon that we were discussing for nearly 15 pages out of no reason besides censorship ( YES CENSORSHIP, IT WAS QUOTED MULTIPLE TIMES, and WAS ON THERE FOR DAYS.) , and decided to implement this policy when THE CARTOON WAS NOT EVEN ORIGINALLY FROM STORMFRONT, but now he/she claims Stormfront is BANNED.

So Stormfornt a perfectly legal web-site, with no discrimination for any others that WANT TO sign up, and a archive for information which is now banned becuase someone doesn't like what they say. Why don't you let the people make up their mind?

The guidelines are, Don't post anything:

obscene
illegal
threatening
malicious
defamatory
spam

Mine did not include anything of the above.

Since this one mod has established a policy of censorship that is unique, I would also like to question this policy.

If I don't like what the Democrats say, can you censor them? If I don't like all the Hammer and Sickles I see, can you censor them ? Hell let's just censor everything that is controversial and make nationstates P.C. .

So please, that certain particular mod should explain why after it being on for days, and being dicussed for 15 pages did he decide a program of censorship to things that he might get offended to.

Well apperantly (please read the entire post ok) the cartoon oculd be considered malicious and defamatory by this sites rules...I had a thread here with some mods about this and I was given an understanding of their stance...so their reasoning is there.

If the mod told you otherwise then bad mod....thats naughty....

Long post not to say what the cartoon was. What was the image, that might likely be the source of the problem.

I've made this same point several times, and been deleated for it... yes, the rules say to not post anything obscene, illegal, threatening, malicious, defamatory, or spam BUT the Mods are more concerned with keeping things PC... The best thing you can do is keep making post like this to expose any abuses of power you encounter... I would also like to remind everyone out there that you can be deleated for pointing out that a Mod is silly...

Not true at all. I have pointed out mods are silly or simply wrong in a few instances int he past. In cases where we didn't afterwards make ammends, we at least grew to get past the issue and realize the game is more important then disagrements. To suggest this implies to me you lacked the ability to intelgently or respectfully lodge your complaints. This has more to do with you then the mods.

Agreed. Was it the one showing an evil Jew, an ugly black baby and 'perfect' but deluded whites? If so, I'm only sorry it wasn't taken off sooner. If it wasn't, bloody answer and tell everyone which cartoon you're refering to.

As for the image, I don't have a link, but it was an image of a white couple, holding a caricature of a black baby, with a caracature of a Jew beside. The male white had a turntable for a head, saying things like "whites are bad, thus we're not having white children and adopting black children", and the Jew saying that the "goyim" were going with the program. I'm working from old memory here so the accuracy may be poor; the stormfront image gallery is under construction and I can't be bothered spending much time looking for the image.
So I would consider the image malicious, and defamatory, not to mention another cut-and-paste *grumph*. The mod may or may not have been offended, but I certainly was.
That being said, I don't support a blanket ban on Stormfront. The site owner, via the mods, is well within his/her rights to censor any way he/she wishes. But I would prefer the censorship be limited to things that harm discussion on the forums, or that are illegal, and stuff from Stormfront is not necessarily (though quite likely) any of those. But that's not my call to make.

Well, you're just like the rest of us, who really don't matter on the issue either. Still, doesn't stop us from talking. I agree with you, ti should be case by case.

While I do find the image you described as ofensive, I am not sure where the line is as to what is and is not accepted. I guess that crossed the line though.

The mods have been very forgiving, given the neonazis constant claims that non-white people are either less intelligent or part of a conspiracy to take over the world.

Just to end who the "mod" was who deleted said pic, it was me! I was under the understanding that Stormfront was banned. I may have made a mistake in this statement. For that I'm sorry. Yes, it is suppose to be a case by case basis. I apologize for the misunderstanding. It was an honest mistake. However, what was not a mistake was the removal of said picture. It did cross the line and I stand by my decision to remove it from the site. I do retract my statement that Stormfront is banned all together though. However, as stated though, the pic was inappropriate. Therefore it was removed.
