Hello. I am Mighty Mountains. Usually Anti-Terror, but I let AMF take care of it for me due to my troublesome grades... well anywayz. Here's my story...


I was posting on a Thread. The all the sudden, I got a major virus from my Anti-Virus machine/software. It was called, NationStates Joke Joke. I got very confused what happened and all of the sudden, my comp froze and a automatic shutdown.

I had to bring it to my computer repair shop, and they told me nothing was wrong. So the next time I went to NS again, and got the same virus. I was very very worried if anyone is stealing private info from me. So again, I brought to a much more advanced computer repair. They told me the NationStates Joke Joke virus was really a Trojan Virus, mixed with the 2000 Y2K bug programs and I had to repair it for 2 days. Since I didnt have any cash, I had to ask my parents for $230.00 cash to pay off the price.

I need help fixing this.

You could have spared all that money, if you had bought yourself a good FireWall. That's much cheaper than fixing your computer all the time. There's alot of freeware to kill off virusses on the internet.
I remember once that I had popups while browsing this forum. Turned out to a picture someone was showing. I'll post the url later, as soon as I remember that site for free anti virus software. Spending money to have a shop clean it up, is a waste of money.
