Do not click the message, especially Windows98/ME users. When I clicked, the anti-virus program told me it was a scrpit that formats the hard disk.

Erm... the message doesn't actually link to anything. It's just plain text. The only way that could actually do anything is if you typed it into DOS.

I do found it weird, being HTML is disabled, and there's no link. But somehow my anti-virus program proved it's false...

Ah well, might be a bug :?

It's a virus, luckily my norton removed it.

Actually, it's a bug in the phpBB software, which, incidentally, has been pointed out several times that it needs to be fixed, but each time, the topics have been locked for security reasons without the bug being fixed...

It's most likely because Norton searches all files for such commands. When you view the page, it's copied into your temporary internet files and Norton most likely scans it and thinks it is an executable.

Er, ignore that...

I read the first post and assumed it was another issue, hehehe...

The post is just pure text.

The worst it'll do is set off Norton. :P

Yeah, it's safe (didn't set off my virus stuff either).

Anyway, I've moved it to a safe location.
