Could someone please tell Beeker, AkA Cat in the Hat, to stop coming in to my region with the specific purpose of harassing us? If you take a look at the region now his message is still there.

If you don't want passersbys posting on your message board then password the region. Beeks comment was so ludicrous I can't see how anyone could take it seriously.

He then proceeded to my region (but I don't mind people posting there. I get a kick out of it. So no complaints here.)

It's Beeks, he's done it on other regions as well.

There is quite a bit more to this case than just Beeker harassing various regions. The regional harassment is just the icing on a rather large cake of warnings and deletions.

Hmmmph, I did the same thing to Beeker Island a while back, as a retribution for his Anti-Nazi Brigade spamming... but, he hasn't done that for a while, so neither have I.

Actually it's been done before. I've had WN friends on here that have posted messages on on Anti's message boards. They still play the game.

As for Beeks, I'm not "making excuses"...I just find his comments so ludicrous I can't understand why someone would get so upset over it, particularly when they can password protect the region to stop it.

While this game has rule and I support the uniform application of those rules...Your ideology is bigoted and hateful, so you should not be surprised that it elicits the types of reactions that it does. I have seen deletions of the more vocal recruiters for similiar regions. thier messages are far worse than the quotes I see in this thread.
While I do not excuse the breaking of game rules, it is perhaps understandable that extreme ideologies can engender this type of reaction. If it were not for the fact that this is in some sense a political simulation game I would find no reason to allow Nazis or their hateful rhetoric, which I currently try to ignore.

"bigoted and hateful" are relative. What really is "bigoted and hateful" if allowing it in one direction, but not in the other.

Actually the hateful part I just added for the sound. It is the bigoted part that was important.

Number one, genius, dissent in the forums is one thing and it's to be expected and I would be wrong to complain about it. In our regions we have a right to be left alone by people that want to insult us and mock us. If that's all you have to add....

I'm not the founder of the region. The founder kicks people out, but he doesn't want a password, so as to make it easier for truly interested people to come in freely. It's like your region in that way. ... Why are you trying to give me a hard time? :?

:shock: ... what if region Founders or UN Delegates were the only ones allowed to make complaints about what is said in their region forums... it would add legitamacy to their positions and keep lesser members in there place... it would seem that the the UN Delegate or Founder would be in a better position to judge what can and cannot be said in their region in the first place. (just a suggestion)

Yes that's exactly what I was talking about. (Although, Beeks is pretty big and mean lookin', I've seen pictures of him. :shock: ) I found his post amusing myself.
