Obscenity is unacceptable, but "Shut the ---- up" is hardly a flame. More like a flamebait. Get the rules violation right next time.

ooh aren't we special?

Maybe you should refrain from antagonising people who agree with you, that they might continue to agree with you, yes? This is called tact.

Honestly people have you no sense of humour. 'sides, there was no need to say that your post said the same thing as my post because any literate person could easilly read it for themselves.

Read my post. I said the same thing.

From the glossary:
"Flame: Expressing anger in uncouth ways with OOC comments (i.e. swearing, being obnoxious, threatening etc.)"

Eridanus said that the reason he posted his comment was that he was "pissed". That is, angry. Clearly, his comment was uncouth. Also OOC. He was obviously swearing, and to my eye, highly obnoxious.

His post probably also met the definition of "flamebait", but it's not clear.

Flames are generally directed more at someone as an insult. Sirocco left the wording of flame and flamebaiting vague, so I can see the confusion. :D

If you still want it looked at, could you please provide a link? We are kind of busy.
