Now, i'm confused. I don't know why the thread "New Forum Title?" got mod alerted in the first place (last night sometime), because it was a serious question, and i don't know why it got locked? It was in an appropriate place (General), it wasn't offensive, and at least one person responded with an actual answer. Plus other people may have had actual answers, but i guess i'll never find out now.

Is it too much to ask that Mods justify their closing of topics in a last post on the issue so that offending nations know what was wrong?

Mods do not have to give an answer. They do what is best for NS.

It wasn't in the correct forum, that is why I modalerted it. General is not for discussing changes to the game, Technical is. General is for discussing non-RP, Rl things which this was not.

For a forum which says 'discuss anything', its hard to argue it was in the wrong forum. However, you may have a point that it would be more likely to get a relevant response in technical, but you could just have said that.

Calcedine: I'm guessing that you were asking a quesiton about the new forum titles. There was quite some discussion about it a while back (two or three weeks is my guess) asking for suggestions.

I'll try to dig up the topic, but there's no guarantee that I can find it.

Really, i was venting my frustration at all the arms sales cluttering up the RP pages (when arms sales, while generally in character, never really lead to roleplaying). As such, it was not really a question about new forums, nor a suggestion that one necessarily be created, i just wanted to hear some discussion on what other people thought about arms sale threads. I guess my sarcasm was lost on some people. =)

No need to reply at this point, but no need to find the thread either.
