He's absolutely right, I was just being mean. Maine Road's departure was a very public thing, and many people know about it. I don't know the full story, but there must be someone who does...

Maine Road (Founder of Blue Moon) was one of those old-school griefers who long for the old days of no Founders or Mods. He got bored, made a speech criticising the new order, and left. There was some debate within Blue Moon whether to re-create the region or carry on without a Founder. Its Delegate, Drone 17, obviously made a decision and kicked out around 78 nations last night, before passwording the region and leaving. He used three puppets to spam the Regional Happenings of Blue Moon and The Rejected Realms. For these violations, he and his puppets were deleted and the region unlocked. At this point, nations from three other large regions which I shall not name used the opportunity to take over the region, probably settling some old scores. Maine Road woke up and ejected these nations this morning, and re-instituted password protection. This is within the rules, and barring any other unexpected events, Blue Moon will cease to exist at the next UN update.

In the Golden Ages (give or take a couple of 100 years) the English were major rivals of the Dutch in trade and stuff like this (especially trade over seas, to the far east/west). In these times, when they were both battling the English introduced all this negative stuff into their language, to piss us off and because they were jealous because we sometimes won. Thats why you have sayings like "Going Dutch" and "Dutch Courage" (alcohol induced bravery) now. There are a whole lot more, but I can't remember them.

Hey Corinthe, when I was playing about with Barthes and Francos in the "flaming in the pacific"-thread, some were saying that this was flamebaiting/trolling (whatever that is) and they locked it. Now that I am playing the good law abiding citizen I am accused of being edgy? :lol:

The guy's name is DUTCH (dunno why the capitals though :? ) Meastro, so you can asume someone to call him DUTCH for short. Why does anybody have to jump up and feel insulted for that? We all knew that the name DUTCH was not pointed at you or me, or at the Dutch in general, right?! So why dit Zosy had to make such a big deal out of it?
