Why do the game mods outnumber the forum mods about 2-1? Surely there is much more modding to do in the forums? Or do we have new forum mods on the way?

Game mods can mod the forum too, that's why the game mods outnumber them.

Game mods can mod the forum too, that's why the game mods outnumber them.

No, forum mod is the first step on the way to become a senior game mod. Forum mod is some kind of No0b amongst mods :P

The reason we have forum moderators is because that is their only ability, moderate the forums. The Game mods have other jobs to do and cant always be on the look out or "scoping" people as TG refered to it as. That is why.

Furthermore, when there's a huge number of items in the tasklist, the GM's are too busy to deal with Forum issues, so we make our lackies^H^H^H^H^H^H^H fellow mods do it. :wink:
Also, having large numbers of GM's spreads the work out a bit more. This way we can have GM's go on vacation without the tasklist becoming monsterous.

I think that thwey should pomote some new mods now (Ack and Loop most likely), as I have noticed what seems to be a rash of inapropriate behavior.
Of course Sirocco, TG, Steph, Neut, and Hack have been trying there best to keep up with it, but I stil do not like it. :evil:

Yes, but given the number of new players joining every day, it only makes sense that the number of mods will have to increase in proportion

We got Cog, Steph, Sirocco, and Tactical Grace as FMs.
Karma, Hack, and GMC were promoted to GMs .: less work in the forums.
