I think I am entitled to any opinion about "Alfie". I don't know wo the ell you are.

Also AlfieisaJew is in no way offensive just as Alfieischritistian or AlfieisBritish is.

Also I did post on your pseudo goodbye thread. Have a look...

You are not entitled to give other players grief. This is an official warning.

I submitted a mod intervention request, but nothing has happened.
(side comment) You meen via the Getting Help page here? The backlog on that is supposed to be up around a week last I heard, so you shouldn't use it for imediate things (like thread locks) that probably won't be relevant in a week or so anyway.

We are looking into this, don't worry. I will do an IP scan of my own right now, but this will require Game Mod / Admin action to resolve.

One is deleted, I see two more offenders, and some other apparently legitimate nations. You are on an academic network? The Admin would have to be careful about Forum bans, so please be patient if they return.

How am I giving grief to RS/TYS. I am entitled to my opinion that Alfie the leader of these nations is hypocritical and manipulative.

I don't think any mod can restrict me from this opinion or my communicating these opinions through the forum

What can't I post?
Any content that is:

obscene
illegal
threatening
malicious
defamatory
spam

You are entitled to your opinion, but you are flaming RedSoviet, so it doesn't have to be tolerated.

You are entitled to your opinion, but we can restrict it if we consider it necessary.

What kind of person would invade someone's "good-bye" thread just to flame him?
The only possible motive is malice.

One question for the mods:

Does that mean that if I criticize another nation for hypocrisy or lying or cheating etc. that I could be deleted?

Real nations criticize each other all the time and if a nation really messes up then it is only natural to rebuke that nation

You can criticise, as long as you steer clear of spamming, flaming and creating defamatory puppets. Being reasonable goes a long way.

What goes under flaming? Does that just mean cursing or is there more???
Also what do you mean by defamatory puppets???

I am not about to launch into an exhaustive definition of flaming. By now, everyone should know what it is through experience.

Defamatory puppets, see above. MelbourniaSucks would be one example.

If you're involved in a roleplay, that is, you're playing "make-believe", then acting like the fictional character you've created and criticizing the fictional characters other players have created is fine.

Be extremely careful, however, if you criticize actual players. This is the difference between In-Character (roleplaying) and Out-Of-Character (speaking as a real-life person).

TG, I am at school on a LAN. The only other people at my school who access NS are Melbournia, Frandeur, and Japan36. Japan36 has about 20 puppets, also. I thank the mod(s) who were quick to act on this.

OOC- What happened to Powerbroker, Senator, and all of the other ranks based on post count?

First, you're entire post was Out-Of-Character, not just the second part.

Second, the ranks were recently changed. I believe that there is a topic about this, somewhere.

Here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69543) it is.

Alfie,

How do you know we are the only ones in our school on NS??

I know others who also play NS who aren't on your list
