Question, How exactly was that thread flamebait? And where did I cross the line? I am interested to hear from you...

I read it and found it highly desturbing(I'm an American)
and I may not be able to vote but my parents do every election and the ad concil does a mighty fine jobs getting people to vote.

The images you posted seemed kinda explicit dude- I know you tagged them as graphic but kids visit this site and looking at those pictures is the first time I have actually seen a mans face blown off :cry:

In general I dislike racism and racists, but this seems particularly non inflammatory(minus the pictures of course... please at least give a warning). If he's just going out and encouraging whites to vote for beenefits at the expense of everyone else, what else is new? Blacks and hispanics have been doing it for ages.

I find the whole racism garbage used by the left completely and utterly ridiculous. It's black pride when black men discriminate against whites, but when whites discriminate against blacks it's racism...?

I strongly suggest you take your flamebaiting to a different forum, as it is not welcome here.

That is in the past. This is now. Just because someone let it pass a month ago, does not mean I am obliged to do the same today.

you've got to be kidding me? The only thing that i'm baiting is a debate. My thread was locked because the mod was not in agreement with my opinion. My post didn't contain profanity, name calling, or "flamebate."

It is flame-bait because it is pure rabble-rousing, and what used to be called scare-mongering. I agree this has been posted up before and I couldn't understand why it was allowed to continue then. The whole thing is worded in order to inflame, the images, though carrying a warning, are not fit for this site. It is a disingenuous attempt at 'back-door' racism. With a bit of effort, we can all compile such a disgusting dossier, targetted against almost any group.

I don't recall ever directly insulting any person, group or race. Most of my posts have been regarding the white race, and no other race. I'm more interested in promoting my own folk than attacking another.

State Sponsored Terror, if I was to lock every topic with which I disagreed, the General Forum would be very quiet indeed. So let me assure you that this is not the issue here. I judged your topic post to be flamebait, ie likely to provoke an antisocial / abusive response from other players. The politics contained therein are but detail. The likely antisocial / abusive response criteria is what I consider most important. You are free to object within reason, but my decision has the backing of other Moderators. The lock and official warning stands. If I see you breaking the forum rules again, there will be no second warning.

My part in this little debate is at an end.

I think this is ridiculous. It was as much flamebaiting as any attempt at starting debate. You might as well start locking any politically-oriented debate thread, with the way things are going now.

Well.. going by the rules and standards set by the mods, what you just posted could be considered "flamebait."

You got a reaction out of the Mods, and other players. That's what you desired. This thread is now locked as no further amount of discussion will cause any of the Mods to renig their statements, nor will it put an end to the griefing of Tactical Grace and/or Myself.

It is highly suggested that in the future, personal attacks not be made. If you have SOLID proof/evidence of a Moderator abusing his or her power, you are more than welcome to email site Administrators at admin@nationstates.net . However, remember, "no" is an answer, just the same as "yes."
