I so hope you are right. I don't know him well, but of course I know him. This just doesn't seem like him. Yet, I've seen many a nation do it. Anyone remember Ballop Islands? That was out of character for him too. Sometimes people have something to prove, a stand to make, or simply have enough. I hope you are right AMF, but if you are, does that mean we have a hacker on the loose?

I don't know if SC got careless with his pawword or what, but that is NOT him doing that spamming.

At this time Sniper and his puppets are under a forum ban, but not deleted. Current evidence does not seem to imply a hacker or a stolen password- the IPs are consistant, which would not likely be the case if someone had taken over the nation.

can you check peoples passwords on that? like would a mod be able to tell if his password was changed in the last day??

EDIT: He's also involved with some RPs, so it seems unlikely that he would willingly throw the RPs out.

I can assure everyone that was not SC, I don't care what the IP says. Maybe someone else was using his computer, I don't know.

Yes, he did respond several minutes ago, saying:

"I CAN'T LET IT GO ON!!!!"

well, if you are sending TGs, and someone has taken over his nation, he naturally wont respond...if you knew his email or something....

If he uses Roadrunner there is a way that someone could have hacked his IP address, and could possibly be using it to log on NS, but how would they know his password? Unless the auto-login feature does a IP scan as ID, but I would assume it uses cookies. Hmm..

I've been talking to Sniper over the past week and he seems rather tense. I know we don't want to believe its him, but I believe he has been pushed over the edge. I sent AMF a telegram regarding this issue.

True, I've been looking at his OOC posts in some threads, he does look somehow tense.

Maybe he's in a depression? Or something? :?

Well, him, along with me, have noticed a decrease in Role Play quality and just general kindness to others. Flaming and spaming rates have gone up as well. He was also talking about how older nations are being treated like shit by younger ones with over inflated egos..its really sad.

Its only a temporary forum ban I think, which means he cant get himself deleted by spamming, in the end it helps him.

This doesn't seem at all like SC....

Although I do see how he could have just snapped like that, but that is one of those things where a temp ban seems more appropriate, maybe a 7-10 day ban if it is a big offense but they have no prior history.

I really hope the mods don't delete him for this, SC is a big part of the forums.
