I have noticed an apparent increase in reports. Maybe it is just more people watching, but I have also noticed an influx of noobs in the last couple of weeks, maybe there really is a problem. Never mind, a bit of enforcement and the new generation will learn.

Personally I think that many players are just getting bored, and are now griefing to add some spice to the game.

"New Erehwon" is just for me to see what founding a region is like, by the way. Am I under the wrong impression, or will an empty Erehwon eventually disappear (say, after next update)?

if it's empty during the update, it will disappear

Never mind, a bit of enforcement and the new generation will learn.

Right now some Mod Reports I filed days ago about regions getting griefed into oblivion by invaders still have not been acted upon. Right now the same invaders are still roaming around looking for new victims. So far defenders have been able to prevent some of them from doing more damage, but somehow running around preventing known repeat offenders from doing more damage isn't the most constructive way to spend ones server updates...

It's great that The Pacific's complaint got acted upon almost instantly, but there's a bunch of other stuff that I feel deserves Moderator attention. I get the impression there's an enormous backlog, which is why I started the poll on getting some Forum Mods to become Game Mods (if they wish to perform those duties, ofcourse). One can only hope.

Corinthe's observations are correct, spelling included.

There does not appear to be any invasion involved in Erehwon; this looks like a completely internal action. However, I am not sure if it is legal for a non-invader Delegate to ban everybody from the region.

...and before anybody mentions The Pacific, I'd like to note that Francos Spain, Poskrebyshev, and InfernoIce did not ban all 5,000 nations from the region.

Ofcourse it's not legal for a delegate to eject all native nations, but maybe this one turns out for the better, as long as none of the natives complains about the sudden change of status quo.

I have a feeling that most will not complain, but one or two might.

There were quite a few detritus nations heading toward oblivion, anyway.

Regardless of your opinion on the value of these nations, for a delegate to eject all nations from a region is considered griefing. This is what you did, and hence why you are in violation of NS rules.

Not if they discussed it before hand and only did it so that they had a founder. I'm not saying for sure this is what happened, but I would say that the benefit of the doubt should be allowed until more information is available.

And?

Please, baby Jesus, please tell me that this individual doesn't take this badly programmed piece-of-shit game seriously. Please, please baby Jesus -
this in your name I pray, Amen.

That's not what happened. I did it just to be naughty. I'm proud of it, too.
If you don't like it maybe we can have a play-pretend war.

I'm not going to cry if Nationstates bans me or undoes what I did, but Erehwon now has a founder when it did not before, and the (ex-) residents can vote with their feet if nothing else.

As Corinthe accurately surmised, yes, some of us go loopy with the boredom inherent in the game. What was there to lose - the right to vote on the same issue for the fiftieth time?

There's more aspects to this game than just the issues. If you're not into RP (neither am I. Never did it, never will) you can always get into the LEGAL invasion game. Although at this point I don't believe you will be around much longer.
