1 day ago The Most Serene Republic of SilverClouds Just a reminder, be sure to remain civil during these debates. And as you have managed to do so thus far, I shall put my two cents into this discussion. I like the idea that Arga brought up, about the American transit system, and drunkards not being able to afford cabs after spending their money on drinks. Perhaps a system could be formed where the drunk does not have to immediately pay for the safe ride home.

1 day ago The Armed Republic of Arga Personally, I think that cabs should have breathalyzers installed, and if the passenger is drunk, they dont have to immediately pay for the cab. With all the tax on booze, the government should spend some of that money on the people that drink the booze. That and get the bars and clubs to help pick up the tab, and give them a massive tax break for doing so.

14 hours ago The Armed Republic of Arga You can drink in public in TOkyo. It is kind of funny, you sometimes see guys in suits passed out in the street at 9pm on a weekday, and people actually stop to see if they are all right.
