Can we have an unmoderated forum?
I know me and a lot of other posters feel that an unmoderated forum would help with all the spamming and flaming and have a place for people to blow off steam.
Plus it'd be really fun.

They tried this at the Bear Spot (http://www.thebearspot.com) (a forum discussion forum, heh.) and it failed miserably. The forum's now locked completely.

NationStates will NEVER have an unmoderated forum. This issue has been shot down so many times, it's starting to get ridiculous.

You can have any unmoderated forum that you create. Perhaps, if you created your own offsite forum and ionvited everyone there, it would solve the issue you face by being moderated.
Just a suggestion...

I already did that when I created my region's forum.
You may use this, as it is part of my region's public forum.
Just keep in mind, porn will result in an unpleasant email, deletion of all posts, and banning from the forum, and spam will be culled as soon as it begins to sink.
Erm, well, the server is already bursting at the seams. A spam forum would make it explode....

It'd be interesting to see how long you could keep that up without any kind of moderation, especially if you were paying for the bandwidth out of your own pocket.

There are several forum services out there that you can use like invision. If you want to start a forum for spamming, flamming etc why not start your own forum.

I have one that is called "Flame Wars", but invision have rules for moderators and their punisments are very harsh. They can deat your complete forum :twisted:

Good idea, but I don't think that it will be allowed to occur because there is just too much 'dodgy' stuff which could happen in this unmoderated forum.
