Can you please help out North America with an issue with Pilmour ambassadors. His main nation was banned from our region for multiple reasons. Now he is continually poping in and out of NA within 1 minute, knowing that he is not welcome in North America. If there any way we can ban Pilmour Ambassadors from North America, as his main nation has already been banned? Our delegate and founder would do so, but they can not catch him as he enters and leaves so quickly.

It might be considered regional happenings spam, if so, file a report at the Getting Help Page (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help).

File a mod report via the Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/page=help) page. This is the best way to get help from the game mods. (look a few topics up for proof :P)

Depending on the context, what is said, etc... it can fall under harrassment, and in those cases has previously been ruled an actionable offense.

Basically:
- Inform Pilmour he's not wanted, and that jumping in/out while posting to the regional HQ is an undesired interruption of regional affairs.
- Make a note when/if he continues doing so. Each time, remind him of your previous request to stop said behaviour.
- If and when he persists in this behaviour, file a Mod Report using the Getting Help page.

(I think this would be so much less of an issue if there were a throttle on switching regions quickly, perhaps in combination with the last timestamp on HQ posts.)

It would sort out the Regional Happenings ticker spamming problem too.

Could be one reason they aren't the most sucessful group of invaders out there... :lol:

NA and the ACC have a long standing problem with each other, but the odds of trying to invade each other are highly unlikey for the reason stated, both have founders. It would be a waste of time to even attempt such an invasion.

After posting in getting help the other day I still have no answer from the mods. And he is still popping in and out of North America. Can I please get a responce from the mods on this.

I am taking no sides on this one, as of yet. But just to note-- you did not give proof of "spamming" the reginal happengs page. You showed him coming in and then leaving it. He is allowed to visit (unless there is something I missed about this one player), and is allowed to leave. He is simply not allowed to do this in a manner to clear your happenings.

Uranium: what an absurd request! What specifically has Pilmour Ambassadors done? Where is the proof of his griefing/spamming? Your case is built on the fact that he entered your region ONCE in one day! Undue lobbying of mods will destroy this game.

Glad mods took care of it. Mods must have banned him from the region, because had the UN DEL banned him he would not have been able to come back in. Glad it worked out.

Dear nations of North America:

We do not mean you harm. Really, we don't; however, the Republic has a vested interest in its own security and often, North American affairs have a lot to do with our own.

Our first incursion was related to the Roman Empire's invasion of Byzantium. We came to make sure that North America knew what exactly they were dealing with.

Our subsequent incursions came as a result of being bothered by nations on TMs.

If you want us to stay out, then we suggest you stop bothering us and make sure that you keep out of our affairs. Any time a North American nation telegrams us without a legitimate question or diplomatic message, and any time we discover that our affairs are being questioned/threatened by North American nations, we will enter. At our own will.

As for mods, good luck. We have just as much a right to be here as anyone else, and your continuous banning will not prevent us from entering and leaving as we please. Any comment or threat which stems from this message will be treated as an unwarranted response and will result in our re-entering this region.

yes they were, they banned his ambassador nation from North America. So he just went and made a new nation and proceeded right back into the region, He has now publicly mocked both ours and the moderaters attempts to keep him out.

Duh, hell recreate another nation to go there.

Once again Pilmour has sent another nation into North America, and once again he left so fast we were not able to ban him from the region.

IMHO, the only difference it makes in who created the puppet is who should receive the warning. Either way the puppet was created for the specific purpose of griefing a region. You seem to be enjoying it as well, which says a lot about you.

Yeah its real funny. We have banned 2 of his nations from the region and he comes back. We send more information to the mods nearly a week ago and dont get a responce from them, and now we have someone else deciding to make light of a situation we just want to end.

Go look at the NA board, you will see we have all had enough of it.

Once again Pilmour has come into North America and the mods have done nothing about it. Obviously the moderators do not care about greifing in this game.
Maybe they are a week behind in their task list, and this player is a fairly low-priority nuisance? Sometimes they can respond immediately, on those rare occasions when they are in the right place at the right time, but otherwise, it goes into a queue. They have several actual griefings to resolve, and then there is the usual spamming/flaming. Several days on, I am still unsure as to whether any action has been taken against the player who flamed a puppet of mine. So I would just wait. I am sure this would have been dealt with already had there been a more serious rule breach.
