I'd like to see the offending posts too. I really think that when mods delete a prominent player, they should post a thread explaining the deletion, with links to some of flaming/spamming/whatever that got the player deleted. That would spare the mods a lot of the "Why was so-and-so deleted?" threads, and avoid the ill-will and mistrust that come with these unexplained deletions.

You're right, the mods aren't obligated to prove anything. But if they're interested in keeping the trust and respect of the players, they probably should give an explanation when they delete well-known players without an obvious reason. A few links to Beeker's flaming would be a far more convincing case against him than repeated assertions that he was flaming. Unfortunately, I've seen this happen multiple times--a player is deleted for flaming, but no one ever posts links to the flames, leading other players to conclude that the deletion was done on a whim.

The thread that was the last straw was the one in which Beeker created a poll asking how stupid another player is/was. His previous forum ban was indeed a warning, as were the many, many times he was told by Mods to quit flaming/trolling. But I guess those dont count as warnings?

We would prefer for politically controversial stuff to be debated rather than censored. If someone posts something racist, then challenge them to a logical debate. I would debate them myself if I had enough free time. However, I don't have the time to thoroughly research the subject and prepare adequate logical arguments to properly refute the arguments of racists. If someone who did have time for that would debate the racists, that would, in my personal unofficial opinion, be a good thing.

Controversial topics will generally be tolerated as long as no personal insults are thrown around (though we are talking about a very gray area very close to the borderline, here).

If you look carefully, you'll probably notice that posts that are both racist and personally insulting of specific players are not tolerated; not because they're racist, but because they're insulting specific players. If you see such a post that you think we missed, let us know.

Beeker posted a topic that trolled a specific player. That was, to us mods, clearly beyond the gray area, clearly beyond the borderline.

One of the main posts you should recognize Beeks, is that you are ultimately responsible for your actions. Even if someone does flame you, you're not supposed to flame back.

Actually, you'll recall I didn't make any serious complaint about being called a snitch. I was referring to you calling me a wanker. Without some sort of webcam or similar device in my bedroom, I severely doubt if you could know anything about my self-abuse habits or lack therof.
