I would like an explanation please on how this isn't flaming?





My response to this is: Who the "F" do you think you are?

I mean, c'mon. You're asking the Mods, once again, to change the rules simply because they dont frikin suit you at this point in time.

What I still dont understand is how anyone can argue that their points have not been answered by a Mod - it had become apparent that attempts to initiate a cognitive state was not occuring, so I fugured I'd attempt a different tact.

Is it now acceptable for players to use these kinds of messages in the fourms? :wink:

[violet], the site Administrator does not want the feeder regions, nor the Rejected Realms to have Founders. Since a higher authority has made their position clear in no uncertain terms, I figured I was well within my bounds to dismiss the point.

It ain't gonna happen. Just like war, just like trade, just like a graphical first-person combat portion of the site, it ain't gonna happen.

Oh. Even in that case, it could have been better to tell me that or point me to the thread/post where I could see that by myself. I could have shut my mouth a long time ago, then.

I'm busy presenting it to [violet]. The mods have resorted to ignoring my arguments, repeating the same one-liners over and over again without even respecting the case, and flaming to shut me up about this case. They completely ignore the details of my aguments and keep on refering to the puppets that are trolling without even bothering to think of it. I see the mods as a bunch of dictators who no longer have the people at heart.

Right now I'm collecting evidence of what's happening at the moment. I try not make it a long e-mail, so [violet] will actually have time to read it, and not ignore it, because it would be to much work to read.

I kindly ask all players who read this to send me links of threads that can help our case. I just want to report the mods's behaviour in this case, not tople the regime or a rule change!

I just wat to report the behaviour of some mods to [violet]. As soon as moderators start flaming to players, it is time to talk to the administration of the forum. Your sarcasm is not helping you one bit. If you ever bothered to read my posts, and stop being so prejudiced about it, you would have noticed that my last post is not about The Pacific, but about you and SalusaSecondus flaming at me.

I know that there are more players with complaints about this, so I hope they send me their evidence, so we can present it to admin. This issue has gone to far and we need an autority to take over.

Biased or not, these are the comments I'm refering about. Together with the tone of the whole thread, it gives me something to think about. I 100% admit that I'm biased (Lol, never used that word before in my life, and now 2x already) about the Pacific case. (I'm not going deeper into that, because this is not longer about The Pacific).
I sypathize with your drive to answer every thread about The Pacific, but you should learn to be nicer and a bit more understanding to players. Right now you've become very bitter about this, and it shows in your answers. Lighten up man! You should not flame at players. Asterisk or not, it's just not right. I never said that I didn't understand it. I personally think that he should take a step back and look at his own behaviour or maybe check his bloodpressure, because this is not right behaviour for a moderator.

The whole thread? No way! This isn't about the Pacific. This is about your behaviour. There is nothing in the Pacific thread that justifies your flaming with the Asterisk in it.
For example: No matter how much I misbehave, my teacher should always watch his mouth in class.
In a forum you have an advantage on my teacher. You can simply ignore repeated questions, but you decided to lose your temper instead and that is just plain wrong!

I'm not really supposed to tell you this, but all the mods are robots. Seems the computer controlling Neutered Sputniks is on the fritz. We're hoping to have that solved quickly, then he can return to having no emotions what-so-ever.

Continued harassment and/or pestering mods leads to mods snapping at people, which is a pretty clear indicator to simply BACK OFF.

If you people hadn't kept harping and creating problems concerning the entire Pacific fiasco, would Neut have a reason to be sick of it, stressed by it, and ready to snap at players who aren't observant enough to heed the multiple warnings he gave to knock it off and drop the subject, or at least to stop bugging the mods about it?

I decided not to bother about the Pacific again. It's not worth all this hazzle, that actually is detoriating the atmosphere in this game.

Apologizing has nothing to do with being a good or a bad mod. It has to do with your personallity. Oh well, you do what you think is right. I will not withdraw my apollogies, but this sure will have an influence on our future dealings. I can imagine that it will not bother you, whatever I think of you, but who knows what the future will bring. I thought that we could talk this out like reasonable people.

First part sounds like an apology for the post. The second sounds like a justification. The first part seems to be the better ship to sail on, though I understand such a situation can be frustrating.

And this just proves no need to justify it. We all get mad, we just can’t show it up like this in the forums. Especially not a mod (sorry, but if you don’t want to be held to even a higher level of game ethics, much less the same level other players are held to…).

If you have to tell anyone “where to get off,” yeah, as a rule, you are flaming. I have seen few instances where it is not at least feeding a fire, if not creating one.

As to the example, that is harsh. I wouldn’t expect it to be tolerated if someone made an analogy like this about a mod. I do not think such an analogy is appropriate from a mod. You may disagree with me, but that does not change the fact that this comes across as offensive.

1) The mods have not ignored your posts. Them simply disagree with you, and have discussed this issue with you to this point. Sorry you don’t see this, but that’s why opinions are different I guess. If anything, it does seem that you have ignored the arguments presented to simply disagree, rather then to really discuss the issue with those you disagree with. 2) This is the second mod thread with the exact same post in it. Emotions are understandable. Behaving in an offensive manner is another. When a player posts to a mod “Who The F--- Do You Think You Arrrr?” it is taken as offensive, and it should be the same way when going the other way down the street. It simply doesn’t make for a good official response.

Looking through this the mods obviously disagree with Corinthe’s point in this thread. Corinthe has actually been sort of escalating the issue with the almost repetitive posts saying the same point over and over again. You know, take my post and get angry if you want, I believe both sides will have issues with me.

That as it may be, Corininthe’s lack of true discussion should not qualify accepting a rude and offensive response. I would like for this to have been considered an emotional mistake, but it seems no one else is particularly upset about this. That’s fine, I am used to being an opposing perspective. Simply wished to post that I felt this was the first time I felt Corinthe was correct on this issue.

OK. Here's more fuel on the fire. Two wrongs don't make a right. IMNSHO, Corinthe, your frustration and anger at the Pacific situation is understandable. The mods made their position clear. Therefore, the time has come to take matters into your own hands and stop harassing the mods about it. We can correct the situation ourselves.

Neutered Sputniks, you are a moderator and therefore, a role model. Although we unwashed masses out here may stink, you're expected to hold your nose and set an example in behavior.
