Why have I been banished?

Is this the place to do this? I have a query for the mods - on returning from an absence of four days I discovered I have been banned from the Pacific. Initially I suspected Francos Spain, however he/she/it denies it. Obviously they may be lying and I have declared war on them just in case they are, but I did say I'd check and see if anyone could shed any light on why the ban.

You haven't been "banished", you have been banned. Most likely by the NEW UNDelegate, Poskrebyshev. He kicked a lot of nations for having UN endorsements.

It's not Francos who banned you, but it is the new delegate Poskrebyshev.
You declared war on the wrong ntlion. He can ban whoever he wants, so live with it. The whole purpose of this all is to make people move out to other places. Go ahead and create one of your own, or go live with someone who shares your thoughts. I have created The Central Pacific, you are welcome to join 8)

Okay, I've heard a ton of complaionts against these two people, isn't there a point where this becomes wrong?

Yes, that point excist, but has not been reached by far. Actually, he may ban you as many times as he wishes. We all now that it's not very nice, but it's legal. Sorry

Thanks for your help, I have now withdrawn my declaration of war on Francos Spain, and declared war on Poskrebyshev. Note as a player I feel the banning is entirely justifiable, my country is clearly ruled by a homicidal maniac. In character we feel this is an attack on our nation and we are well within our rights to declare war, and as a UN member as for UN support as we do it...

This type of thing doesn't belong in the UN forum, it belongs in Nation States or II.. I have moved you most recent post in the UN forum to II. This is not what the UN is used for. If you want support, ask for it in Nation States.. or as said II.
Thank You.

So you do control multiple regions.
How many?
I've got six.

OOC - I'm curious about this - Stephistan has said that my post asking for UN support in attacking Poskrebyshev. is not appropriate to the UN thread. Why? As I see it Drakosovar is a UN member, UN members are not really allowed to go to war willy-nilly without requesting UN backing for this. (see the war in Iraq for details). Therefore I felt it was reasonable to inform the UN that as one of its members I felt that my sovereignty had been attacked by one of the regional delegate, surely the most sensible place to do something that affects the UN, and possibly involves a breach of the constitution of the UN is best dealt with on the UN forum.
I know its not what the forum is traditionally used for, circular arguments about pointless resolutions seem to be the favourite, and I thought it was high time there was some discussion about the UN's role when its member states go to war.

Asking for UN approval is ok. We have in the past had this done. However your post read as if you were asking for UN members to come aboard with you. This is not allowed in the UN. If you wish to ask the UN members for approval to invade as part of a role play that is fine. That was not how I read your post. However, if that is what you wanted to do.. then go ahead and write it up and post it in the UN. However please try to be more specific that, that is what you're asking for. .. :)
