This is getting irritating.

Now, The Thirteen Clans has been deleted, and never received even a minor warning for flaming, flame baiting, or trolling.

Hi Christofi. No IP ban for you, huh? Oh well, the SpoffinIsaNazi thing was going a bit far, and I'm thinking another episode like that will earn you one. ;)
22-09-2003, 02:37
I was not Spoffinisanazi.

I have the balls to call Spoffin a Nazi under my normal moniker, I don't need to make a shell.

You do not want to know. To know is to be part of it. :shock:

Christofi, you have been warned in a previous incarnation for flaming and flamebaiting, deleted, then warned not to do it ever again. You then proceeded to flame and troll anew; when this came to our attention, we decided that you had earned another deletion.

Pardon? I was neither Flaming nor Flame Baiting. What Stephistan says is not always true you know.

No, but when other Mods see it for themselves and every other player backs it up, your goose is cooked.

Stephistan had nothing to do with it this time, actually. She's not the only mod to ever pop into General and look around these days, as relaxed as the rest of us have been lately. You had quite distinctly crossed over the lines of merely being rude to outright flaming (repeatedly, at that; I for one am surprised that it was not brought to our attention earlier) ... we should have noticed earlier, but the mods only can read so much of what's going on.
22-09-2003, 03:14
I have not been flaming, I have not insulted a single person lately. If people choose to be insulted by an arguement, that is their problem.
22-09-2003, 03:21
The evidence is there, Christofi (or whatever you want to call yourself). Whether or not you would personally be insulted by it is not the test we have to apply.

Show me my recent flames.

These are taken from a thread listing the evidence of your flaming.

To the people who hate America:

Take a deep breath.

Turn your head to the side.

Tell that big dude named Hans to quit jackhammering your backside long enough for you to calm down and disperse your anger towards the world.
Nice one for starters. But there's more to come.

Yours is common knowledge in the basement of a teenaged overweight lesbian who gathers together with her friends to put curses on cheerleaders.
This is a statement made in relation to Wicca and made in response to Spoffin. Without drawing any implications, it doesn't look too nice.

Well... I'm saying they're just a pseudo-religion practiced by misfits and people who would be Atheists otherwise. You want to take blame off them. I say they're not important enough to receive blame.
The last sentence of this post - again in relation to Wicca - is flaming. Again, whether or not Spoffin (to whom you were responding) is a Wiccan him/herself is immaterial.

Looks like flaming, smells like flaming...by golly is is flaming.

I see, this is a campaign against me in favor of alties. The second two posts were not flames, and the first of those used terms (overweight lesbians) that half of the posters, wicca or otherwise, were using in description of the topic. If you delete me for them, half the people who participated in that thread should be deleted.

The first was in response to the originator of the thread it was posted in. The original post in that thread was telling Americans to pull sticks out of their rectums. How is my post any different than that? Go delete the originator of the thread.

If you're going to be biased in favor of the Liberals, just say so, don't play games.

22-09-2003, 12:58
Yes, the Liberals reap from their butt kissing a harvest of deletions.
23-09-2003, 09:46
No, they were all three flames. I will explain why:

1st post: Flame by implication of the form "<player> is anti-American, therefore <player> is gay". Whether or not the particular player to whom your post was directed was offended by it is immaterial, the fact of the matter is that saying what amounts to "everyone who hates America is gay" is a flame. And before you try anything clever with semantics, yes that is indeed what you said.

2nd post: Flame by implication again. This time the form runs "Wiccans are overweight lesbians". Given that there are several players on the site who are Wiccans, this is flaming.

3rd post: "They're not important enough to receive blame" is one thing, so is "...misfits and people who would be atheists otherwise." Both of these are massive implications/aspersions being cast at people's religious beliefs (whether or not you choose to call it a religion yourself isn't the issue.

That's my logic for labelling them all as flames, can anybody else try another angle?

As for any bias - I freely admit to being left-leaning. In fact, compared with American political culture you can probably label me as a raging socialist. Now that's out in the open, does it matter to anyone?

If I may. I believe Christofi(or whatever incarnation he may be now) thinks injustice is done against him because the type of flaming you described is common on the general forum. What reincarnated christofi fails to recognise is that he has been warned and punished yet he has failed to learn his lesson and he may possibly even fail to recognise that he has done any wrong. Can someone quote something showing Christofi what rules he has violated?

From the FAQ:

It's free speech, so I can post whatever I like here, right?

Ahahahaha! Hahaha! Free speech! No, it's not. I run this web site, see, so you have to play by my rules. It's like my own Father Knows Best state.

What can I post?

You can discuss and argue about almost anything, so long as it's vaguely relevant to politics or NationStates and doesn't fall into any of the categories below. You don't have to be politically correct, but you must maintain a minimum standard of behavior.

What can't I post?

Any content that is:

* obscene
* illegal
* threatening
* malicious
* defamatory
* spam

This applies to your nation's name, motto, and other customizable fields, any messages you write, images you post, or any other content you upload or link to NationStates. If you do, your nation will be deleted. See the site's Terms & Conditions for details.

Also prohibited is the practice of "griefing." Griefing is playing with the primary aim of annoying or upsetting other people. If you do this, the game moderators may take action against you.Bold emphasis mine.
