 that's a bad server

Confirmed, seems like a very very silly player. Don't know exactly what they were trying to acheive from those lovely 4 pages, it's not like he needed the post count (unless he's acheived all sixteen hundred posts thisway without being caught, but seems unlikely). You've really got to wonder how the world stays alive with people this silly.

Lets just hope he wakes up to it and apologises or something

It just gets sadder, on top of all those posts, he's also a UN delegate (with 1 endorsement granted,,,,but) and has a pop. of over 500 million, why would you throw all that away for something as trivial,,, wonders never cease. Also, is that flag the right size,,,,,hmmm, seems a little dodgy to me.

From what I know of him, it is possible he might be trying for deletion. He has asked the Mods to delete all his posts in the past. He is a bit of a sociopath who upset some people a while back, and has been seeking a way of putting it behind him. If this is indeed the case, why he can't just leave the game peacefully I do not know.

Don't look like a server problem according to others in the thread? :?

Trying for deletion,,, hmm, presents an interesting problem for the Mods,,, how do you punish someone who's TRYING to be deleted and annoying other's in the process. Sounds like he just wants to make a big kick and fuss, and then will cry foul after being deleted and use it as an excuse to make life generally unpleasant for everyone. More so the conundrum. I reckon just leave him and delete the offensive/rule breaking posts. Or just IP ban him straight out, that way he can't come back to annoy people.

No, you can't hand out IP bans like boiled sweets. I think deleting those posts and warning him by telegram would be fair.

Yeah maybe, just seems like everyone's crying for a IP ban as soon as they're wronged by anyone, nice to see some balance back in the forums, however my point was that if this person wanted to use deletion as a pretext to making life hell for everyone, and causing as much trouble as possible, a bit of pre-emtion (thank you Dubbya) might not go astray, but your prosposal seems very reasonable.

Have a nice day,
Ni!

Deleting those posts will only give you four empty annoying pages if the theory is correct. A good lab rat for the mods to test this theory?

It could be a server error.....

It may be the server, actually. A lot of posts are timed as being at the same time; if it was deliberate, there would be more time in between the posts because of the anti-flood-wait-system thing.

I thought they could remove the posts entirely, rather than just editing the posts to say "deleted".

Topic locked. I didn't feel like deleting 4 pages of spam. Tarentum has been warned.

I'll try it later. Nice idea.

Hyperlinks are provided to various pages in the topic. There are supposed to be 20 posts per page. However, there is a bug where the number of pages does not take into consideration the number of posts deleted.

If a topic has 90 posts in it, it will require five pages (the last page being half-full). If I then delete 35 of those posts, then there are 55 posts remaining, which should require three pages. However, the number of page hyperlinks is not corrected and the page four and page five hyperlinks lead to the error "No posts exist for this topic."

I think calling someone a sociopath is far more serious than calling someone a "wanker," "snitch," "whiner," or "git."

"Far more serious"? Debatable.

However, it is a flame. Tactical Grace, be a little more careful about this, thank you.
