Invasion question

I am a reformed region crasher who took over the region CheeseLand with some friends. While there was at first a little resentment, some natives left and the rest got to know us. I have held the delegacy there for a number of months, and I wonder if i am now considered a 'native', with all the perks thereof, or if I am still a sadist evil crasher of dewm [/sarcasm].

No I believe that you are always an invader if you take the region using an invasion. Length of stay may make it appear you are a native, but as long as anyone remembers your invasion you still have the limited powers of an invading delegate, rather than the full powers of a native delegate.

This is a facinating question. If the natives are voluntarily endorsing you, you might be able to claim that you have become native delegate. I'm not sure.

I'd ask the question: Do all the natives want you as delegate? If yes, then I don't see what problems there could possibly be...

Most of the remaining natives are non-UN. However, the most active one of them, Wormia, and I are on good terms, and the remaining natives don't mind me being there.

I have learned, and if I am wrong I become heavilly confused, that natives are people in a region, when the invasion ocurres. As long as there is no invasion, you are not a native. Just an inhabitant, but not a "native". So in my book if the invader is alowed to stay, he becomes a native as soon as another invasion occures.
So, please if you dissagree, be polite

Corinthe: That's not entirely true...there have been times where more than one group has invaded a region at the same time...

Gurguvungunit: I'd have to say that given the extended period of your stay, and the support of the other members of the region in endorsing your delegateship, you dont have much to worry about ;)

Emphasis on: "at the same time" . But I see your point.

Depends on how long his 'invasion' occurs for...

If he continues to maintain control by force, and does not allow other original' natives to try and return to the region/Delegacy... wouldn't be considered just a prolonged invasion?

If you're on good terms with the majority of UN folk and non UN alike... then they'll kep you there... but just don't think you can do anything regardless...
