Creating then giving a nation away

If I create a nation, then give it away to someone on another IP, and they apply to the U.N. then will this show as a multi? And is this Illegal?

If two UN nations sign in regularly on the same IP regardless of the circumstances then as far as I know the Mods may eject both nations from the UN and/or delete them depending on how much red meat the mod has eaten.

This is regardless of who started the nations.

It is illegal for any player to control more than one UN nation at the same time. "at the same time" can be either about a day, or continued use over a prolonged timeperiod.

So, if the person receiving the nation has no other nation in the UN, puts his/her own email address in the settings, waits for a few days after you last log into it (and you don't log into it ever again!) before joining the UN, you both should be OK.

A Mod with specific knowledge of the cheat-scan procedure might have something to add to the above.

As long as we dont see a pattern you should be alright.

We do, from time to time, see a nation return as a Multi due to the player resigning one and immediately applying with the other. For this reason, we suggest a 12-24 hour delay between resigning one nation, and applying another.

I'm not a moderator, but I'd like to say the following: Go with a 24-36 hour delay, just to be safe. If I ever did anything like this, I would want to have at least two or three system updates (which happen every 12 hours) between switching UN nations.

I like to have nice, big margins for error.

Besides this being MAJOR grave digging, the subject of resigning and joining the UN in quick successtion has come up recently and been ruled OK by the mods.

Still kinda funny to see Coggers reply as not a mod about UN multis, which he now deals with as a mod.

OK, everyone step away from the grave and we'll fill it back in.
