In order to maintain the fragile peace, The Empire will entertain Capitalizts and Enotita should they be willing to engage in peace talks, and create a stable, new government for the future.

About making Byzantium a pawn of the Empire,this was not the plan (note we left the whole government to an elected Delegate, THE ONE WE OUSTED).

However, we do have the capacity (and a web-site operator to get us the password) to take Byzantium by force, and will do so if necessary to maintain the peace.

What is to be done now?

heh, i say kick out all who is invloved with the issues, and make there region a perminent territory of TRE. I know its drasitc, but just end this all ready. Make Byzantium Roman again.

Byzantium needs to be dealt with quickly. We should just take it over or forget it completely. No in between.

If that were to happen to me I would be angry to so dont take this the wrong way..

There has never been a case where someone actually did hack into a nation or region. If you have more evidence that a mere threat please post it here and i would request sending a request on the getting help page under the "Sending/Posting abussive or inappropriate messages" or "Other: Response to Moderator".

It is possible to brute-force guess a regional password. As for actual 'hacking', it's just a load of hot air.

My recommendation is that the founder or delegate change the password regularly, and use a random string of numbers, lower and upper case letters, and symbols. When you need to let a new member in, temporarily change it to something short, and once that person is moved in, change the password back to the random string. That's your best protection against that sort of 'hacking'.

Oddly enough, if you look at the region that was making these threats, there are a number of UN ejections in The Roman Empire's recent happenings. Strange, isn't it?

I have already reported it (well, as another account). I always do.

The reason I post these things here is because the turnover rate of regions' Civil Headquarters is often quite fast, especially in a region like Byzantium, which is claimed by at least three different interregional militant groups. The mods often have a heavy workload, and by the time they got to my report, it might already be gone, and then it's just my work against theirs...

And I am quite aware that hacking isn't really very plausible here. It just seems wrong to use it as a threat to intimidate others.

That was either Rapid or our beloved Tech Modling, if I recall correctly :wink:

Wasn't it something like Rapid Dr3ms. I believe that was his name. That said, super good at the code and stuff. He couldn't hack the system, likely not much a worry.
