OOC: Note, this is a RETCON of my FT Roleplays, decided to star over.

High above the Capital planet of the Star Republic the Imerpial-II class Star Destroyer hung in orbit. The ship was surronded by smaller shuttles as her crew came aboard from the Orbital stations and the planet surface itself.
As a Shuttle flew over the ships hull they'd be able to see the ships name and registry on the hull. Glancing out the window they could see the Name; Explorer. The Name was particually correct considering the ships mission. The Explorer was to go beyond the Star Republics borders and to seek out new worlds and new Civilizations, boldly going where no one from the Star Republic had been before.
Aboard the Shuttle was Captain Jenny Sato, graduate of the Star Republic Command Academy, experianced officer with commendations from every department of the Star Republic Starfleet. To her side was Jedi Master Tom Banks, member of the Jedi council, one of the most experianced Jedi in the Order. The two friends had been selected for the new mission.
The Explorer was outwardly similar to the rest of the Imperial-II class. She had the same armamant, same general specs, same starfighter and clone troops detachments, but a large part of her spare interior space had been outfitted with improved sensors and a specified Diplomatic section.
Explorer, Bridge
"Captain on the Bridge!" The Xo called as Jenyn and Tom walked onto the bridge. The Bridge crew snapped to attention and the XO saluted. Jenny nodded and saluted back.
"Is the crew aboard Commander?" She asked.
"All present and accounted for sir" The Xo replied
"Good, clear our space and prepare for departure" Jenny ordered as she sat in the command chair.
"All ships clear, Courosant Command has cleared us for departure" The Helm Officer reported.
"Sublight engines to full, heading full ahead, stand-by for jump to hyperspace" Jenny ordered "All hands secure your stations"
The Ships lighting would change to a blue tinge, signleing the preparetion for jump to lightspeed.
"All stations report ready" THe Operations chief reported "Ship ready for Hyperspace"
"Engage"
The ship jumped to hyperspace.
Some Star System, A few weeks later
The Explorer dropped from Hyper Space, she'd so far not come across any inhabited planets and the crew was hoping that this System would be different.
