What is Haven 2214?

Haven 2214 is an offsite roleplay forum. It takes place on a fictional planet. The tech levels range from modern to future tech, whatever you want. The twist is, that you are stranded there. The idea is that you somehow crashland there, and are forced to make a colony. Think of downscaled interstellar civilizations, but on a planetary, nation like scale.

Where Do I Come in?

It is up to you to post a claim, which will consist of your territory, and your people. Your people can be anything you want, ranging from humans, to your favorite scifi race of aliens. Anything you want! Once there just head on over to the Claims area, and follow the format others have been using. There is also a NS population conversion system, in the rules section.

Is this a waste of time?
Absolutley Not! Its actually pretty fun, and role playing is already underway, but we need you to make it even better!

What else is there to do?
For starters, you can trade, have diplomatic relations, war, disputes, etc. We are open to suggestions!

hey jolt users! this is Bairut, administrator of Haven 2214. we would really appreciate new players, and we are a small tightly nit community (personally, i think Nation states is too big for its own good, hard to keep a good RP organized on that scale, and you cant organize the community very well) its alot of fun and you can post your claim. its really like a combination of a space nation RP (in which nations hold many stars as territory) and a earth nation RP (where people hold land). you can also be aliens (makes it so much more fun) and really have fun with it. also as a Graphic artist I create alot of images for the planet "such as maps" (lol...) and signatures for anyone who asks politely

and have fun, I am reworking the rules right now (on the forum they are a little strict, they are more "guidelines" and "recommendations", except for the races part, to many people want to be energy/nanotech/god races *glares at kage* ;)

its very fun, but the map has much space available for new members. So join today. You get to make your own tanks and weapons and what not if it is your choice to do so. Most of the aliens we have so far are humanoid, and several exotic aliens such as Birdlike beings called Avarians, and Tripod specis called Tripoids. We need you to make Haven, the meltingpot of intergalactic cultures.......even interdimensional!
