Grand Admiral Cain, commander of the fedral home fleet, stared at his holo display, considering the options. "Yes logistics would be a problem, how can we evacuate so many worlds in so little time? If I dedicated the whole of the home fleet, 2nd fleet and 3rd fleet plus any ships we can find from the fourth fleet, we might be able to pull it off, but it will leave certain areas very, very weak. We could commander civillian transports to assist with the evacuation. The main problem being is whilst the fleet is ocupied evacuating civillains other worlds are left competly un-defended."

"We also have to take unto account we could possibly be leaving fully functioning cities behind for the TA to ocupy. Do we leave them or do we employ a scorched earth policy?" "We have acounted for this, and the empress has given clearance for the Starbane class superdreadnaughts and their escorts to reinforce weakpoints or major population centers while they are evacuated." the admiral answered confidently, tapping the holographic display and bringing up specifications for the Starbane class.

Empress Cheng answered this one "The councel has debated long on this matter, and feel that, given the teritory we will provide in Varius, the initial loss of these cities would not make much diferance. However, we feel that any useful technology to the terrans should be taken with the evacues or destroyed, as well as any data banks purged, so that the Wolfholdian people may return to their homes at some point. We will allow the final say in such matters to be decided here, but that is our stance.

Normally TRIAD officials did not like to use outworld tech for conducting what should be secure conversations, but in this case an exception was made. The Branch Director herself could not be available, but one of the Undersecretaries to the Branch Office was on hand for this holonet meeting.
