Public Communique from the Holy Roman Empire of Osea

We have decided to hold a formal party with other leaders of the nations of the world. All nations with a monarchy are invited to come. However, the leaders of any nation that is a friend of the Empire are also allowed to come and we will take any requests to be allowed to attend into consideration. It will be held at Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna in two weeks time. There will be Limousines at Vienna International Airport ready to pick you up as you arrive. We will, of course, require that we are notified of your intent to attend in advance.

OOC: You can do it when you want to, but I think we should give some time to see if more people want to join this first.

Audemas

As the Audemas Broadcasting Service began airing the old style radio readings that Martha Ellet --- one of the nation's most famous writers --- gave back in the 1930s from her novels and short stories, Princess Brigitte looked over the invitation that had been sent to her from the Holy Roman Empire of Osea. She seemed quite content with attending and immediately had someone from the Foreign Ministry mention that in the message they were to send. "Her Highness the Princess Brigitte of the Principality of Audemas would be honored to attend the gala. She sends her condolences to the soon-to-be Emperor for his loss."

Brigitte could feel Joseph II's pain, having lost her own father sometime back. As she listened to Alicia joke about what the men of Osea may be like toward them, Brigitte began trying on dresses while the voice of Martha Ellet continued to come forth from the radio she had on. Ellet was reading her magnum opus, Hourglass, the story of sisters in early 20th century Audemas. It was considered her greatest work and a classic of Audemasite literature. The Princess finally decided on a lavish Victorian style dress and placed an exquisite diamond necklace around her swan like neck. Some cleavage was exposed but she hoped the Osean men wouldn't stare at it. If they was into her like that, she wouldn't mind them trying to get somewhere.

Brigitte listened to the final parts of the day's installment on the radio and then turned it off before heading down to her private jet......

OOC: I'll be sending my nation's monarch and her assistant/best friend from childhood. If you could telegram me with the link to the IC thread when it's made, it'd be appreciated.

OOC: Sorry guys for not posting for so long. So lets get this thread started. If anyone is interested in joining in this thread, you don't need to bother with asking IC. All I ask is that you do a decent arrival post.

IC:
Vienna International Airport, Holy Roman Empire of Osea

Every preparation had been made for the event. Schönbrunn Palace had been worked on for the occasion and looked more splendid than ever. Many guests were attending, varying from low ranking officials to the cream of the Osean aristocracy.

At the airport was a proper welcoming party, with high ranking officials and, of course, the press was all there and desperate to get good footage of the guests arrival. Once the planes landed, the guests would be taken through the assembled press to the Limousines which would take them to the palace.
