NBSBC New 24

Government sources have confirmed that Pirates have attacked a NBS Trading Corp convoy. Reports suggest that these Pirates had aquired a small squadron of old style Frigate-type vessels, probaly stolen from a foreign nation. These pirates appear to pose a severe threat to the safety of NBS ships as well as other nations ships. This morning Five Type-45 destroyers left New Portsmouth o a mission against these Pirates, our nations first deployment.

200 Miles out from New Portsmouth

The Five ship Squadron, led by the BSNS Intrepid, was on course for the last postion of the Trading Corps convoy. They were moving at maximum speed on the off-chance that there were survivors.

OOC: Can I RP as the Pirates and my nation as well?

OOCL Yep, my all means

The attack went quick and the qlunder was promising. Pirate Alliance frigates had raided an convoy of merchant ships heading towards another nation but it ended up in the hands of the Pirate's. This was a promise to a new start but nothing was to be sure just yet. The Vamperial Navy had being hunting them down like animals and with world wide bounties across the world, it would be only a matter of time before somebody would find them. Frankly, their suspecion was correct. On their tail was a squadron of Vamperial Jango Class Frigates, 1 Heavy Cruiser and Kidd Class Destroyers including two Swatter AA Class Cruisers.

"We must hasten out escape and keep away from them before they come within firing range," ordered The Pirate Commander. The Squadron of frigates started to make speed towards Africa. However, unknown to them was The New British Shores Governmet had already dispatched warships after them.

RNS Intrepid

Commadore Luke Walker, watched out the widows of the bridge, straigtnening his uniform he moved towards the Radar station as he was called over.
"What've you go?" He asked.
"We've got Radar contact with the Piartes" The Radar operator reported "Sattelites tracked them all the way to were we made contact, it looks like theres warships on their tail, recommend Alert One sir"
"Agreed, Alert One, all hands to Alert One Stations" Luke ordered.
The Squadron altered course and headed to intercept the pirates.

RVS Heavy Cruiser Destroyer

"Status report?" shouted Captain Marcus Vain as he watched his squadron start to make up time they lost eariler.

"We got reports that the pirates have attack an unarmed convoy of ships," replied First Lieutenant Walker. "We also got an identiy on the convoy. It's from the...The New British Shores,"

"Fantastic," replied Marcus saracasticly as it meant he wasn't allowed to sink them. "Identify their warship they could use to transport the goods,"

"Will do," replied Walker as he went off to the radar station.

"Sir, Werewolf just picked up another squadron of warships inbound to the pirates," shouted an operator.

"More pirates?"

"It doesn't look like it sir. It could be New British Shores warships about to intercept the pirates,"

"Fuck," muttered Vain knowing the bounty would have to be split. "This is Captain Marcus Vain of the RVS Destroyer calling unidentified squadron. You are entering a combat zone. State your nationality and business," ordered Vain.

RNS Intrepid

As the Intrepid Squadron headed towards the Pirate Luke was mildly interested to see what the chasing ships would say to them.
"Sir, we are being hailed" A Tactical Weapons Operator reported.
"This is Captain Marcus Vain of the RVS Destroyer calling unidentified squadron. You are entering a combat zone. State your nationality and business,"
"RVS Destroyer, this is the RNS Intrepid of the Republic of The New British Shores, we are intercepting Pirates responsbible for the sinking on a Trading Corps Convoy" Luke said, Even in the Background to this Message the clear sound of a Squadron of Frigates firing their Guns over the Pirate squadron as a call to surrdner.

"Your after Pirates as well?" replied Vain over the intercom as he looked at the mercenaries on the other side. "Well, we can use the extra hands. We've being tracking the bastards across the Indian Ocean and there's a nice bounty on their little heads. I suggest you alter course and cut off their escape route. We'll get them in the crossfire," explained Vain.

"We have them off our bows now, we're opening fire" Luke replied "We'll cut them off, you can take them" He counter-suggested "But if you can disable them so we can board them and take some of them back home to be dealt with by the Justice department?"

"Does that mean we don't get out bounty?" asked Kudizi as he and seven other mercenaries came onto the bridge.

"Chill," replied Vain as he turned to Kudizi. "I'll inform them that they already have a massive bounty and they're wanted for crimes against the Vamperial Kingdom," answered Vain as Kudizi still didn't think it was the right decision.

"Your purposal is going to arise complications," replied Vain over the radio to the Intrepid. "I've got a squad of crack mercenaries keen to take those ships since their's bounties on each one. These pirates are already wanted in the Vamperial Kingdom. However, since we're both after them, I suggest you take half and we'll take half that way we're both happy agreed?"

"Very well destroyer" Luke replied "We're opening fire now".

With a nod to the Fire Control OFficer, the Squadron launched a salvo of Anti-Ship Missiles at the Pirates.

"We're under attack from all directions," shouted the Pirate Captain as one of the frigates sank from the heavy concentrated fire from both sides.

"Damn Lynion's!" shouted another.

The pirates started to return fire but with about four cannons firing at a solid past. Adding to the firing were the few rockets they had which were amed at the New British Shores destroyers. Everything seemed to be running smoothly before a pair of Anti-Shipping Jump Jet Seekers came over head and dropped two topedoe's causing major damage to the hull of the Pirate frigates.

THe Destroyers Phallanx CIWS activated and shot down the incoming rockets, a lucky shot from the pirates main guns struck one of the destroyers amidships, the destroyer fell back in the formation as the rest of the Squadron. Adding to the fire, from Each destroyer a HC3 Merline took off and began to target the Pirates with Anti-Ship missiles.

The SRS Labrador sailed calmly through the blue waters of the South Atlantic, having left the Socialist Republic yesterday, Alstion herself being a large island off Iberia, the reason for its warm climate. The Cofgodas class ship - the class being a copy of the Halifax class - was captained by Obsidian Thuran, a 34-year-old captain of a working class background. His hazel eyes were staring off into the distance as he looked out at the sea from his ship's deck, sipping a glass of purified water which was in his graceful grasp. He stood admiring the sea, its gargantuan beauty. The sea was a beautiful thing to him, as it had been since his childhood. He had longed to go out and explore it as a child, which was why he was thankful he had been enlisted with the Socialist Republic Navy when he was conscripted. A captain's mistress was the sea, as it was said.

His daydreams were disturbed by a young sailor whom had just left the Operations Room, his boyish face looking up at his tall captain, his innocent light blue eyes staring at him. "Sir, we have picked up on the radar systems several other vessels in the area locked in battle."

Obsidian grimaced. This won't end well. "How many, if you can remember?"

The youngster took a moment to respond, his messy beige hair being stirred by the breeze, much like the airflow in the capital. "Five to twenty. May have something to do with pirates, sir."

He nodded. "Understood." The captain passed by the sailor with his Slavic accent, walking briskly towards the Operations Room, downing the last of his water. He had a good look at the radar, seeing quite a few ships just east of the Labrador. He frowned. This most defiantly won't end well. The only thing he could do was send out a radio call.

"Attention all ships in the area, this is Captain Obsidian Thuran of the SRS Labrador requesting information on the current situation. Over," spoke Obsidian into the radio, the message being sent on all frequencies.

"Bloody hell," shouted First Lieutenant Harold as they heard the voice came over the frequency channel.

"Inform Kudizi to start the boarding party," ordered Captain Vain as one of the pirate frigates exploded in half.

"Will be done sir," replied Harold as he tried to give the orders out but it was deafen by the roar of the ships cannons.

"All gunnery crews, aim for their rudder," ordered Vain sharply.

"All hands, brace for impact!" shouted a voice over the PA System.

Vain didn't have to ask for a report as he watched one of the Pirate Frigates turned around and ran alongside the Destroyer. The mood was calm as the officers waited to see who would fire first. The gunner's quickly changed their targets as the eight cannons turned to face the frigate. Then the quietness was suddenly swamped with the roar of cannons as the light cruiser took damage but the frigate was blasted out of the water. The remaining pirates saw that their attempt to escape was like trying to find a needle in the ocean. With several more frigates sinking to the bottom of the water, the remaining and badly damaged frigates decided it would be best that they surrendered.

"This is Captain Vain of the Royal Vamperial Ship Destroyer calling Pirate Vessel's," came Captain Vain's voice over the frequencies as several raiding boats luanched from the Vamperial Ships inbound to the frigates. "Prepare to be boarded and surrender quickly or we'll kill every single one of you,"

There was no point that the Lynion's didn't take any prisoners when it came to the Pirate Alliance. Several Pirate frigates had decided to make a run for it and see what would happen. Others wanted to take their chances and surrender to the British Shores Forces. However, surrendering to the British Shores would bring the Pirates a war they wouldn't be able to afford.

"This is the Lurker, Khan and the Bio frigates calling New British Shores," started a voice over the radio as the frigate closet to the Lynion's was being boarded by Kudizi and his mercenaries. "We surrender,"

"Four down, three to hunt down," muttered Vain to himself. "Bring Werewolf online and prepare for an orbital missile strike on the fleeing pirate vessel's," he ordered as Harold got onto the radio. While this was happening Kudizi and his men had secured the firgate they boarded and had locked the pirsoners into the mess hall. Kudizi then instructed his men to search the ship for any intel they could find.



OOC: New British Shores, interested in doing an RP with me after this one?

OOC: Yea deffinatly, what'd it be about?

IC:

"Pirate frigites, you will deactivate all weapons systems, you will sail to Co-ordiantes ******.******, you will there cut your engines and prepare to be boarded" Luke Instructed as the NBS ships headed for the Pirate Frigites. The Guns had pretty much fallen silent, teh Merlines landed and Marines climbed aboard, other marines stood ready on deck Clutching BS01's as they awaited the order to board the enemy ships. One of these marines was Staff Sergeant John Baker, one of the Marine Corps Rising stars.

OOC: It'll be about the final blow against the Pirate Alliance. You'll discover hidden messages stating new attacks against the New British Shores and their convoy's as well as attacks against the Vamperial Kingdom. You'll play the part of the major invasion force and I'll use my elite spec ops to assassinate their ring leaders. Interested?

IC:

The surrendering pirates had suffered enough as it was and their fighting spirit was drained out of them. They humbly accepted the terms the New British Shores (NBS) offered to them and altered their course. Their weapon systems were offline and the sailors were prepared to be boarded.

However, their friends didn't stand a chance against the Lynion's as one of the frigates was badly crippled. The other two sped away quickly but not before they were oblierated by the orbital missile strike. With their prize still floating the last pirate frigate surrendered to the Lynion's as several Blackhawks took off in the direction of the frigate. Onboard were crack veteran mercenaries keen to get their hands dirty as well as looking for new intel about the Pirate Alliance recent activites.

As the Destroyers pulled alongside Marines jumped aboard to join the marines that had fastroped from the Merlines. The Pirates were rounded up and put in the brigs of the Destroyers, the Destroyers then sent a message and an hour later towing ships could be seen on the horizon, the frigates would be towed to NBS and used both as evidence and then they'd either be retrofitted and used a Patrol ships or sold for scrap.
