Starbase 124

Rupert Trask ducked as a Phaser blast missed his head by less than thirty centimetres. He ducked behind a cargo container, gripping his Type-2 phaser tightly in his hand. He looked to his left and Ironically he saw his destiantion. The Stations weapons store. Hacking the door lock in thirty seconds flat he was in the Room. He took Transporter beacons from his pocket and placed them on Twenty of the Phaser Rifles, fourty of the Hand Phasers, and half dozern crates of Photon Grenades. He tapped his combadge and said.
"Energise!"

Runabout Nosferatu

Marterializing seconds later, Rupart looked around. He was in the aft section of his ship, along with all the weaponary. Satisified he walked through to the Pilot section. The Danbue Class Runabout cockpit had stations for four crew, three of the seats were already taken and Rupart slid into the Pilots seat.
"Last chance" He said as he powered up the ship.
"We're with you...Captain" The Brown hair blue eyed women in the Co-pilot seat smiled.
Rupert nodded and gently lifted the runabout up from the landing pad. Almost instantly a Phaser Beam was fired across their bow.
"Attention Runabout Nosferatu, cut your engines, lower your shields and prepare to be boarded" A vocie challenged.
"No reply" Rupert ordered nodding to the Tactical staiton. Speeding away from the station, the Nosferatu fired phaser shots back at the Starbase before jumping to Warp. Once safely in warp they activated their Cloaking device.

Runabout Nosferatu

"One of their Phaser hits scrambled our port sensors" Jenny Kelly reported "We'll need to get a new package" Engineer Terry Scott commented
"Suggestions?" Rupert asked.
"There's a Alliance Freighter point 5 Light years away, they'll have sensors we can commandeer" Jenny replied "They'll also have cargo we can steal"
"Setting a course, decloak, we'll be able to move right up to them before we attack" Rupert ordered "Now remember, despite not being part of Starfleet any more, we're still running the Nosferatu like a Starfleet ship, clear?"
"Crystel sir!"

The Nosferatu dropped out of Warp and moved at impulse towards the Freighter. The Freighter sent a freindly message to the Nosferatu, but no responce was sent. The Nosferatu closed to within two hundred metres before the Freighter began to evade. It wa too late however as Four Photon Torpedo's sped from the Nosferatu's launchers, directly into the Freighters engnes. Dancing around the ship the Nosferatu fired Phasers and systimaticlly lowered their shields.
"Shit, they've sent out a distress call" Jenny muttered.
"Ok, get aboard, get the sensors and get whatever cargo you can" Rupert ordered "Phasers on Stun"

Alliance Freighter

Jenny and Shaun, their former Starflet Marine, boarded the Freighter. The tactical flashlights on the Phaser rifles lit up the corridor. Two crewmember appeared from a corner and were quickly downed by Jenny and Shaun. They quickly located teh spare parts cargo hold and put transporter beacons on them. Moving on to the Cargo Hold they choose choice cargo to beam back. With their mission complete they beamed out.

Runabout Nosferatu

"Good timing!" Rupert commented pointing out the viewport. An Excelsior Class starship was baring down on them. Jenny and Shaun manned their stations and the Nosferatu headed away from the Freighter. The Starship in fast pursuit and was soon firing on the Runabout. The Nosferatu was eventually able to slip into a nebula and lost the Starship.

A Planet, Three Days later

The Nosferatu touched down in a spaceport. They were on a world safely outside Alliance Space. With Shaun guarding teh ship the rest of the crew headed towards the bustleing shops and bars. Each of them wore a Phaser on their belt line.

Fayetteville was the single largest city on Nederland, the youngest of the populated worlds in the Republic of Lynx. Nederland, being a largely untapped source of natural material wealth was becoming a very highly trafficked place since the formation of the Republic in recent years. The low orbital lanes were packed with large cargo ships, personal yachts, and a few of the still diminutive Republic Navy’s warships keeping things relatively peaceful and secure. More of this last group were in high orbit as well, monitoring the approach and departure routes. It was one of these, a small frigate, which first spotted the vessel making its approach and tried to establish a contact. When no reply came, it was thought perhaps the frequency was bad. The ship’s commander, pressured by his officers to fire, vetoed the decision to avoid hitting any of the ships clustered in low orbit. He did, however, send word to the Port Authority.

Ensign Kayla Kopsho, Fayetteville Port Authority, walked purposefully toward the terminal exit nearest the unknown vessel’s landing point, her polished boots clicking on the tiles, gray-on-black duty uniform identifying her immediately to the crowds of civilians and earning her a reasonably wide berth as she walked. Immediately behind her, eight Port Authority officers walked in a diamond formation, rifles carried in a relaxed but ready position, helmets and armored vests exposed, unlike the ensign’s lighter, concealable vest, which was underneath her uniforms shirt.

“Ocelot Six, this is Control, we still have the targets on surveillance in your area. Continue on present course – Over.”

“Understood,” was all Kopsho said in reply, adjusting her plasma pistol and stun baton one last time as she caught sight of the unidentified outsiders.

“Excuse me,” she said, reaching up to key the translation device in her uniform collar, jus tin case. “I don’t suppose you all speak Standard English?”

Aboard a modified frieghter in low orbit of Nederland, Gwendilynne Shultz an undercover starfleet security operative also noticed the approach and landing of the runabout. Normally she might not have noticed such a small craft, but she had been watching for just such an event after recieving an all points bulletine three days earlier descibing a theft of starfleet weapons from Starbase 124.

Although it was a longshot that this runabout was the same one that had even successfully eluded a Starfleet Starship she decided to check the runabout and its occupants out anyway. Moments later after beaming down near the runabouts landing coordinates she noticed that she was not the only one interested because Officers of the Port Authority had stopped a group of people she figured was at least part of the crew of the runabout.

Not wanting to draw undue attention to herself she remained a good distance from the group while activating her evesdropping tech while sitting down on a bench not far from her. Then as she watched other folks walking by she listened to the conversation between the runabouts crew and the Port Authority Officers.
