Captains Log, Stardate 44432.3
The Venture is exploring Sector 21505, nearly 50 lightyears outside United Alliance of Planets space. Our sensors have picked up increased neutrinos readings two AU’s away, we’ve altered course to invevstigate.
End Log

The Sleek form of a Galaxy Class starship approached the location of the neutrinos. The Space around the ship sparkled softly as the Venture raised her shields. Stopping a few Kilometres from the centre point, the Venture ran a full sensor sweep of the Centre point. Moving forward again the ship’s powerful Impulse engines shone with light. The Venture was approaching the point when the Space ahead of them burst into blue light.

“What the hell is that?” Captain Katheryn Lotus asked as the Venture was rocked by the shockwaves.
“It’s a Wormhole!” Science Officer Julian Dax reported as she worked her console “We are being pulled in!”
“All engines full reverse!” Katheryn ordered.
“No good, we’re going in!” Helm Officer Jenny Sato exclaimed
“Put us on a course straight into the wormhole, we’re going in!” Katheryn ordered

The Venture was pulled into the Wormhole. Soaring through, the Hull sparkled in blue light as she sped through the interior

Emergeing on the otherisde, the Venture quickly ran a full sensor scan.
“Sir, if these readings are correct, we’re over 70,000 lightyears from where we were” Julian reported running his fingers over his console “And, my god, that wormhole is stable!”
“Bring us about!” Katheryn ordered.
The Venture came about and headed back through the Wormhole. Once back on the otherside they contacted Starfleet Command...

Four Months Later

Captains Log 44752.2
The Venture is returning to the location of the Stable wormhole we discovered. Starfleet has recently constructed a Starbase near to the Wormhole, from where we shall launch our exploration of far-away places.

The Venture dropped out of warp. Moving slowly forward toward the Station. As they approached the Wormhole opened as a ship went through and then closed again. The Venture was soon docked with the Starbase.

Bump again

Reports had been coming in, of strange happenings in Quadrant 5. Phantom sensor returns, that would appear, and vanish suddenly. At first it had been written off as faulty sensors. However, when the sensors were replaced, and then replaced again, it was determined that a ship would be sent out to investigate.

Flightdeck BSC Bai-Ülgen

"Sir, we are approaching the site," stated Major Harkins.

"Thank you Major," replied Lt. Colonel Graves. "Are sensors detecting anything?"

"Negative, Sir," replied Lieutenant Kinkirk. "Nothing suspicious."

"Take us in closer, Major Harkins, nice and slow," replied Lt. Colonel Graves.

"Sir, yes sir."

The ship moved in closer to the site, slowly, cautiously. The Lt. Colonel knew it was probably nothing, but this being his first ship, and it only having been 5 months since he got her, he wasn't going to risk much.

Starbase Vanguard

Katheryn walked along the Stations promenade with two of her Officers. Jullian and Tactical Officer Murry. The Promenade was bustleing and people were walking in and out of shops, bars. The Venture was safely docked at one of the docking ports and Kathreyn had just left a keeting with the Commadore and was heading back.

Captain we are now nearing the reported stable wormhole where the frieghter reported seeing a
unknown type of starship appear from the wormhole then reenter it. said Lt. Meyr.

Thank you Lt. Meyr,

Commander Walker activate our ghost cloaking device,

Helm set course into the wormhole. ordered the Captain.


Emerging on the otherside of the wormhole the crew of the UKS KorInursion III are surprised to find a good sized star base with numerous starships docked.


The Ghost Cloaking device is much more advanced then is the Romulan version. This is my way of having one of my ships encounter Starfleet. My ship is from the opposite side of the wormhole.

"Sir the Wormhole is opening!" Terry Murry reported on the Bridge of the Venture.
"Yellow alert, launch us" Katheryn ordered.
"Backing away from the station" Jenny reported.
"Status of the Station?" Katheryn asked.
"The ships are being scrambled, if this is an attack it'll be the defense fleet only, the Starbase's weapons aren't up yet" Terry reported "We are the newest ship, we're to take the lead, if theres a ship out there, it's cloaked"
"Take us towards that Wormhole" Katheryn ordered.

The Venture moved at the head of the small contingent of Starfleet ships towards the Wormhole, the ships held back as the Venture appraoched. Katheryn nodded to Terry wh opened a channel:
"Attention to any Starship near the Wormhole, this is the USS Venture" Katheryn said "Weclome to Starbase Vanguard, please decloak and state your identidy"

[ Aboard the UKS KorInursion III ]

The crew realize that they have been discovered.

" Captain we are being hailed by the lead starship. reported Lt Ward.

'Attention to any Starship near the Wormhole, this is the USS Venture" Katheryn said "Weclome to Starbase Vanguard, please decloak and state your identidy'

" Do has they say Lt." ordered the Captain

Immediately the KorInursion decloaked ... and stopped where they were in space.

" This is the UKS KorInursion III of the Star Empire of Kormanthor we are on a mission of Peaceful exploration. We are always glad to have a chance to gain new friends. "

USS Venture

Kathryn smiled as a ship decloaked and returned the hail. Standing up and tugging on her uniform she replied.
"As I said, welcome to Vanguard, Captain Kathryn Lotus, USS Venture" She said with a smile.

"this is a message to whomever finds the wormhole, we are sorry for the inconvenience but this is merely the after effect of a broken wormhole drive on one of our ships, please contact the NERV customer support number appearing on all your screens now, the the hole in the fabric of space time will soon be closed, do not enter the stable wormhole in any circumstances, if you do you may die soon, a repair team is on its way to seal this wormhole"

OOC: How many ways can I put this other than: NO. The Wormhole is part of my plan for future RP's.

OOC: don't worry, the wormhole wont actually go anywhere, the repair team is really lazy and wont even bother arriving

Kathryn smiled as a ship decloaked and returned the hail. Standing up and tugging on her uniform she replied.
"As I said, welcome to Vanguard, Captain Kathryn Lotus, USS Venture" She said with a smile.


UKS KorInursion III

" Glad to make your aquintance Captain Lotus, I am Captain Gwendilynne
McAfee, commanding the UKS KorIncursion III. As a representative of the Star Empire of Kormanthor I would like to start first contact proceedings with your race. Do we have permission to dock at Starbase Vanguard? "

"Clearence to dock is granted Captain" Kathryn said with a smile as the Starfleet Defense fleet fell back to the station.

" Thank You Captain, I'm looking forward to meeting you ... McAfee Out. "

Helm you may shut down the Warp Drive, One eighth impulse to the inner flight lanes of the station. ' ordered the Captain

' McAfee to Engineering '

' Matt we are going into spacedock, I suggest we use this time to update maintance and what ever else we need to take care of as long as you don't need to cut power. McAfee Out '

Number One I need you to get a First Contact Away Team together. Let me know when they are ready to go.

Lt. Commander Ayers you have the con, I will be in my ready room.

During the time of this conversation the KorInursion slowly closed on the station. After she changed from Impulse Power to Thrusters as she eased into an open spacedock.

The Venture redocked with the Station, Kathryn made her way through her ship to the airlock. Once on the station she was met by a security detail and together they made their way to the port where the alein ship would be docking. Kathryn massaged her Bajoran Nose ridges in an attempt to get rid of the headache that was starting to creep up on her. The Security detail fanned out around the corridor's surronding the airlock. Kathryn herself stood oppisate the airlock.

Minutes later after the ships has successfully docked, the Captain and her First Contact Team open the airlock joined to docking ports gangway. Then after walking the length of the connecting tunnel they open the open the stations airlock to find the Captain from the Ventura surrounded by a security detail.

' Hello Captain Lotus ' begins Captain McAfee, ' I assure you that we are not a threat to the security of your station. We are here to hopefully gain another friend among the many races that populate the known galaxies.

"Welcome aboard Captain McAfee" Kathryn smiled "On behalf of the United Alliance of Planets I welcome you to the Alpha Quadrant"
