The New British Shores Navy Ship Surprise moved slowly through the early morning traffic heading towards the Port.
Standing out from the Merchent ships, the Surprise passed by the various ships, sending the smaller fishing boats bobbing in her wake.
The first of the Prototype Type 60 Cruiser's the Surprise had some of the most advanced systems avaliable aboard.
But, thankfully, the Surprise was not on a mission of conflict, instead the Surprise was heading into a port for some shoreleave following her shakedown.
As she approached the Harbour she contacted the Port controllor, quickly cleared through the ship docked at a dock shortly later.

Dockside Street

NBS Navy Ensign Richard walked along the street, other Navy Personnel were spiriting out through the town, they'd been authroised shoreleave, and for many it was time for some fun.
Richard made his way into a dockside bar, the light was just beginning to wane in the distance as the sun dipped below the horizon.
The Bar was already bustleing as he made his way over to the bar and ordered himself a drink. A few minutes later with drink in hand, he spun on his chair and scanned the crowd.

Another war? Honestly, I'm getting sick of all these war stories, thought Sophia Wilkinson as she made a mental note to conduct further research into the UNS/USPA War, which would be vital in her next report for the Associated Selenian Press. She was joining in with the crowd to get some local opinions on the UNS/USPA War, and thus was wearing a white sleeved shirt, blue jeans and white trainers, quite casual but accepted somewhat by the locals. The USPA government, in her opinion, was starting to become a bit warmongering, intervening in Sorsk, Smaloan and a few other areas of conflict. The UNS/USPA War seemed to be the offspring of the War in Sorsk. She probably churned out more war stories than any other foreign correspondent. She sighed at the thought, returning to her martini, sipping it.

She looked around. Most of the crowd were regulars, most with an alcoholic beverage in their hands, like her. She, however, spotted a young naval officer, whom she could tell was most defiantly not a local. She turned her attention away from him, but made a mental note to have a little chat with him later for her next story, which she expected to be another war.

She giggled at her pessimistic views on the USPA. Sophia downed the last of the martini and went up to the bar and ordered herself another martini, deciding not to sit down again, for the only available spot was beside a morbidly obese female who was farting while attempting to look posh in her plain dress. She stood close to the counter.

Sitting near the Foreign Sailor was Hanna Titus, daughter of General of the Army Michael Titus, the Current Pennsylvanian Joint Chief, the highest ranking Military officer in the country, she saw the Foreign Sailor and decided to out of decency make some talk with him

The Norfolk Naval Yard, the largest in the country, was bustling with business, within its massive dockyards were 6 Nimitz Class Supercarriers, 14 Assorted CGMs, 43 Assorted DDGs, 36 Assorted FFGs, 24 SSNs and 13 SSBNs or SSGNs, in addition many ships were under construction, also at the base was 2 Brigades of Marines, 9500 men in total, with full combat gear

Richard saw Hanna sitting near him so he decieded to talk to her, he smiled.

As she finished the last of her second martini, Sophia spotted a young girl beginning a conversation with that naval officer she had glanced at a minute ago. With her journalistic ambition to cover a juicy story, she decided to stay standing and watch the pair, and ordered a glass of purified water. There was no use in getting drunk here.

She glanced subtly from time to time, always looking towards the door in order to give the impression she was awaiting someone. However, everytime she had a look at the door, she could make out the naval officer and the girl out of the corner of her eye.

Wonder who she is, Sophia thought.

Hanna said to the NBS Sailor, who she could see was coming over to talk to her, she said
"Hi, whats your name, mines Hanna"

"Richard" Richard replied polietly "So, you a local?"

"Yes Richard"

"Not me" Richard smile "I'm a sailor aboard the NBS ship in dock"
Richard ordered a drink from the waiter.
"Can I buy you a drink?" He asked as the Waiter waited.

"Certainly"

Richard smiled "What would you like?"

"Martini would be fine"

OOC:Just so i can start planning my later on reaction, what exactly are you planning to have Richard do to Hanna?

Richard nodded and he ordered the drinks

OOC: It's not rape you know, it's consensual on both sides, but basically, they hit it off and go on to have sex.

"Thank You"

OOC:Well unfortunately thats not against the law in my country so cannot cause a incident than, Hanna is 22 so she can basically do whatever she wants short of attempting to kill someone or rob a bank and not get in trouble with the law for it

OOC: I mean mainly due to the fact that: I'm sure your highest ranking officer wouldn't like a low-ranking officer of a foreign navy sleeping with his daughter, i don't mean a lawful incident, I mean more of a 'Pissed off High-Ranking Dad' incident

"So" Richard smiled "Have you lived here all your life?"

OOC:He wouldnt like it, but he wouldnt be able to do anything either, i'llmkae it that Hanna later claims assault and someone beat her up to make it seem she was and than the incident goes on

"Not here all my life, only moved her about 3 Years ago"

OOC: Ok fair enough, perhaps becuase her Father is angry it happens, she makes it up that it was assault perhaps?

IC:
"I've lived in the same city my entire life back home" Richard smiled "Joined the NBS navy few months ago, loved it ever since"

"I used to live out in the Mid-West farmlands until my dad got promoted to Commander of the Joint Cheifs of Staff"

OOC:Fine by me

"Jesus" Richard commented "I've got nothing so impressive I'm afraid, Dad was Flight Leiutenant in the Airforce, mom was army medic"

"My dads the first to break the old tradition of Noncoms only in my family, he has had command over every single division in the Army and Marines at least once"

"Again I say; Nothing quite so impressive for me" Richard grinned

"Yea, anyway, thanks for the drinks, wanna walk me to my house?"

"Sure" Richard smiled "And who said Chiviorly's dead?"

"No one as far as i know"

"Maybe not here" Richard replied as the left the bar and began to walk along the street. It was getting quite dark by now, Richard could still pick out a few crewmembers from the ship among the crowds.

"And in case your worried, i dont live with my Father, he lives in Philadelphia"

"Good to know" Richard smiled as they left the more dense crowds behind.

A few minutes later Hanna said
"Well heres my house, you wanna come inside and have a bite to eat?"

"Yea" Richard replied "I'd like that"

Hanna opened the door, showed Richard the kitchen, and went to prepare some food

Richard looked around the room.

10 Minutes later Hanna had the food prepared, she sat down with Richard and made some chitchat while they ate their food

OOC:How about this, Richard goes back to his ship after Hanna and him have some late night pleasure, gotta be careful who knows how many 6 yr olds are on here lol, and later that one of her friends finds Hanna beaten up, almost dead in her apartment, after which a USPAMC Officer comes forward saying that he had seen Hanna with a NBS Naval Ensign, after which the incident ensues

OOC: Brillient Idea, does my ship end up beseiged from sea and land?

IC:

"very nice, thank you" Richard thanked her as they finished their food.

OOC:Havent exactly decided yet, could either be as little as it being blockaded until Richard is given up or it is found out he wasnt the Attacker, to as far as the ship being siezed and the entire crew being arrested, all of them and the ship being eventually returned of course once it is found out none of your crew did it

"Wanna watch a movie, i got one i think you would like?"

OOC: THe ship does have a small marine complement, so if your going to seize it, do try and be diplomatic ;-)

IC:

"Sure, what's the Movie?" Richard asked interested.

"Skies over a Warzone, a recently made movie about the events leading up to and the conduct of the UNS-USPA War"

OOC:As i said i havent decided yet

"Sounds interesting" Richard replied "I knew someone who was involved in the War"

"Yea, my dad was supposed to be the Commander of the Ground Troops in the war but the UNS Cowards surrendered after some missile and air attacks, served them right stabbing us in the back like cowards"

Richard nodded as Hanna put the film on and dimmed the lights

"I'll be right back, i need to go to the bathroom" Hanna said as she headed towards her bedroom and Bathroom

Richard nodded and waited for her to come back

When Hanna returned, she was wearing nothing more than her 2 Piece Underwear, she said
"I'm Back"

"I can see that" Richard grinned as he looked her up and down.

((OOC: One-liner-topia! Anyway, can't we do it that Wilkinson uncovers the encounter and releases an article on ASP, after interviewing one of them or a navy ensign who knows about the encounter?))

Wilkinson had kept an eye on the pair. They were developing something, something which could possibly get her out of the USPA and into the big leagues of ASP foreign correspondance, like the many warzones across the world. A few positions were missing in that department, mainly because the ex-coresspondents had all been violently killed.

Wilkinson had left the bar whenever the duo left, and subtly followed them back to what she presumed to be the girl's house. I can't watch them, that'll get my arrested, she knew. She gritted her teeth. This could be a fantastic story brewing here. Sophia sighed, but decided to leave quickly. She called a taxi and quickly back to her apartment at the city centre. She could maybe get a few tidbits of information off the girl -Titus' daughter - or the navy ensign, or maybe another ensign.

She recorded the brewing story on her computer journal before going to bed with a cup of tea and a good book.

OOC:Selenon, you can uncover it later but not at the moment

"What do you say we have some fun" Hanna said as she sat down next to Richard and grabbed his family jewels

"Definatly" Richard smile kissing her

OOC:Lets skip past the entertainment part as that might get us banned

"You've been a naughty boy richard" Hanna said after they had had some late night fun for several hours
"But i tihnk you might wanna get back to your ship now mister"

"Yes, i suppose your right" Richard replied as he pulled his shoes on "The Surprise will be here for about two weeks unless we're called out"

"Ok, wanna meet again next Saturday?, same bar?" Hanna said as Richard Left

Richard nodded with a smile as he left. He walked along the road, through the dead of Night, back towards the ship. He knew he was going to be introuble with the Master at Arms, when he got back, but he decided it was worth it.
Approaching the Ship he was challenged by a pair of marines on guard duty at the bottom of the gangplank. Seeing his uniform however, the saluted and let him aboard.
As expected the MAA was waiting for him, and he got a long lecture on being aboard ship at the designated time, which was really rather leniant. He was eventually allowed back to his quarters. Once there he fell asleep rather quickly.

Back at Hannas House, she was watching the movie again, she was redressed, when suddenly she heard a loud crash, she screamed as someone threw themselves at her, after which they proceeded beat her up and brutally rape her. A few hours later, one of her friends found her unconcious and close to death in her Home, after which she called the police and a Ambulance was dispatched, she was taken to the local Norfolk Mercy Municipal Hospitol, where she was found to have a fractured skull, severe Concussion, 3 broken ribs and a broken arm.

Upon hearing this a Marine Colonel went to the police and reported that he had been at the same bar as Hanna that night and had seen her leave with a NBS Navy Ensign, this information soon thereafter fell into the hands of General of the Armed Forces Michael Titus, who ordered 500 Marines from the nearby base deployed to keep anyone from going onto the Surpirse or off of it, as well as dispatching 2 Hunter Class AEGIS Cruisers and 4 William Halsey Class AEGIS Destroyers to prevent the ship from leaving

RNS Suprise

Richard was woken by Klaxon and the Captains voice:
"General Quarters, General Quarters all hands man your stations!"
Quickly pulling his uniform on he ran out the door, he was suprised to see Marines running along the corridor in full battle gear, clutching BS01 assualt rifles and handing out BS02 hanguns. Taking a Handgun and it's holster and attaching it to his belt, he ran up onto the deck. The Deck was bustleing as the Marines and crew members took cover behind the ships hull, their weapons aimed over the side down to the Dock.

Looking out to see, Richard was shocked to see Six ships blockadeing the habour. Running to take a postion with the rest of the crew he was just in time to see the Navel Ensign on the flagpole be changed from the slightly different, Shore-leave ensign be replaced with the standard Ensign. Along the deck, the ships armamnats were armed, the gangplank had been retracted, klaxons still continued to blare.

Captain Simon Dutton stood on the walkway just outside the Bridge, looking down at this growing situation. His ship was blockaded from Land and Sea. His ship was at Battlestations and he had no idea what was happening. He'd sent a message to Command informing them of the development. He now took the speaker for the Ships annoucment system and said:
"PA forces, State your intentions immediatly!" He demanded.

"Our intentions are to find who was with Hanna Titus last night as she was raped and almost killed, we have a Reliable Eyewitness as well as Video Feed confirming that a Ensign from your crew went with her to her house where she was found a few hours later"

Simon raised an eyebrow in surprise at this. He gestured for his XO to come over. He whispered in the Xo's ear for him to gather all the ensigns in the Mess hall before replying to the PA forces.
"My Crew aren't rapists" Simon said steadfast "You will end your blockade and allow us to leave"
Down on the Deck, the Ensigns aboard were discreatly moved from their stations and taken down to the mess.

Mess Hall

The Ensigns stood in a line, the Captain entered having left the situation to the XO.
"Which one of you were with a local, Hannah Titus?" Simon asked.
Confused Richard put a hand up.
"Everyone except Mr Hood are dismissed back to their stations. Once the Ensigns filed out Simon turned on Richard.
"WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO WITH HER!" He demanded.
"Nothing" Richard replied defenivly.
"You must have done something!" Simon demanded.
"Ok, we had sex, is that what this is about?"
"Well those PA bastards out there are claiming you raped her and beat her to death"
"Captain, I give you my word, I didn't rape her" Richard siad.
Simon kept Ricahrd under scruitiny for a few seconds "I belive you"

Main Deck

Simon and Richard returned to the Bridge, Richard remained inside whilst Simon went back outside.

FROM: President John White
TO: PA President

It has come to my attention that your forces have blockaded a New British Shores Navy ship in one of your harbours. Please explainy our actions

Wilkinson smiled. She had managed, after a bit of snooping around, to get information on a NBS naval ensign presumed to have raped the daughter of General Titus of the USPA Army. She sipped the coffee, proud that after she sent this to ASP Headquarters in F.D., she would be finally whisked out of the USPA to a warzone, which was the holy grail of journalism in the Assoicated Selenian Press. She had typed up the entire report in a matter of hours, her first lead having been the agressive nature towards the NBS Suprise by the USPA forces in the area, and, after prowling about and asking a few questions, she had finally gotten her ticket to a warzone. She grinned and downed the last of the coffee before clicking 'Send'.

In about twenty minutes, the story was on the ASP website, and, as she could see, was on ASP News and probably on ASP Radio, following the afternoon classical segment.

Daughter of USPA Joint Chief of Staff sexual assaulted by naval ensign from New British Shores; USPA forces surround the NBS Suprise

The NBS Suprise, where the ensign who is believed to have raped Hanna Titus was stationed aboard.

Just hours ago, a naval ensign from the NBS Suprise, which was docked in a city in the USPA, is presumed to have sexually assaulted and almost killed Hanna Titus, daughter of the USPA Joint Chief of Staff and General of the Army Michael Titus, just several hours after the sailors aboard the ship were given shoreleave.

It is presumed that the pair met a bar near Norfolk Naval Yard, and the ensign - alledged to be named 'Richard' - left with Titus and assaulted her in her home in the city. The Suprise has been docked by several hundred USPA marines and has been forbidden exit from the harbour, and it is believed that Titus is in deep shock over the events.

So far, no statements have been issued, but it is expected that one will be made soon.

The Daughter of my Joint Chief was assaulted and raped last night, being beaten into a coma shortly afterwards, our only suspect in Ensign Richard Hood as he was spotted going back to Ms. Titus's Home with her around the time it is thought she was raped, until we can prove that he is not the culprit, we request that he is turned over to our forces for a DNA Sample, after which he will be allowed to return to the Ship.

OOC: The Surprise was a cruiser, but a Carrier makes it more interesting i suppose

I'd have been more willing to authorised this, if you hadn't blocked a Carrier in your harbour. As such the decision will be up to the Surpries CO, please relate your request to him.

OOC:It could be one of mine ,considering i have 6 5 Miles away

IC:

"Captain Simon, we request that you temporarily turn Ensign Hood over to us so we may collect a DNA Sample to exclude him, he will not leave this Pier while this is done, and will be allowed to return to the Surprise as soon as the DNA Sample is collected"

Simon considered this offer, it was reasonable so her replied:
"Very well, but Ensign Hood will be escorted by four Marines to ensure his safe return"
Along the ship disbeleif spread the ship, the crew wasn't happy that they were handing over one of their own for something they knew he hadn't done, but they would abide by their captains orders. Richard and four marines were waiting for the PA reply before the gangplank was put down.

"That is fine, but they will bemet by 4 of our Marines as well to ensure your men dont try anything"

In responce the sailors lowered the gangplank back down to the Dock. The Marines went first to be followed by Richard.

Halfway down the Pier, 4 Marine met the men, after which they escorted them to the CSI Team located at the end of the pier

The Marines kept a careful watch on the PA marines, and the others nearby. Their fingers stayed near, but not on, their BS01's triggers.

At the end of the pier, the CSI team took a swab of Richards mouth, and than allowed him to return to the Surprise, after which they headed back to their lab to compare the unidentified Sperm cells found in Hanna to Richard

Once the team was back aboard the Gangplank was raised once more and the Watch was resumed. Up in the Bridge, both Simon and Richard waited anxiously in the Captains ready room.
"you did tell them that i did actually have sex with her didn't you?" Richard asked.
"Yes" Simon replied "As far as I can remember"

As the 2 samples were being compared, the CSI Team was running down another lead, Hanna had filed a restraining order against her Ex-Boyfriend the week before, and he could not account for himself at the time, so his DNA was taken as well to compare against the unknown

The Marines, and Saliors on deck, on watch were getting fatiuged, and nervous as they watched the PA marines below.

After 30 Minutes, Richard was found to not be the person that assaulted Hanna, but a miscommunication would not have this news reach anyone outside of the lab for a further 6 Hours, meanwhile, Hanna's Ex-Boyfriend, Jacob Dixon, was arrested and found guilty of Rape in the 1st Degree, and attempted murder in the 1st Degree, and was sentenced to 30 Years in jail, this news would also not reach the PA Marines or anyone else for 6 hours as well

The morale on the ship was getting lower by the second, and tensions were running high. IF news didn't come soon it was only a matter of time before something happened.

The News finally reached the USPAN Ships but no the Marines yet, as a result, the 6 Ships anchored in the harbor lifted anchor and started to move back along the channel towards their moorings, part of this trip took them within 800 yards of the Surprise

As no word had been given to Surprise, Klaxons rang out again as the ship moved to action statiosn. The ships Helicoptor, which had Anti-ship missiles was scrambled and the ships own Anti-Ship missiles were targeted, and her main gun moved to face the PA ships.

The Captains of the 6 ships all saw this, and order their Own Anti-Ship missiles and AA missiles readied, but not targeted, while the fleet commander sent this to Captain Simon

"What the hell are you doing we are just returning to our Piers Ensign Hood was found Innocent"

"Jesus!" Simon exclaimed loudly as he ordered his ship t stand down "You could have told us! Before you started moving in our general direction"

"The Marines should've informed you"

And by coincidence the Marines recieved the news just than and informed the Surprise

Simon was struck by the Irony of the Situation and with a sigh of a releif passed the order for the crew to stand down. Seconds later a massive cheer was heard from the Suprises's crew.

A few minutes later, the Marines boarded their trucks and headed back to Fort McKorwin

The Surprise remained in dock. However, her shoreleave ensign was not put up, as she was only waiting for the supplies to be delivered. At the same time Presdent White wrote a angry letter to the USPA

FROM: Psdt John White

I am deeply saddened by the events of the last for hours, and angered. You commited what could be construded as an act f war against The NBS, and subjected an innocent man to a day from hell. I demand an apology from the person responsbible.

As soon as his Arraignment is done ,we will get it for you


3 Days later, Leavenworth National Prison

The Apology was obtained and immediately sent to the Crew of the Surprise and the President of the NBS

2 Weeks after the Incident
Shortly after Hanna Titus had become stable, she had been transfered to the Johns Hopkins Extensive Care Unit in Baltimore Maryland. On May 31st, she woke up from her Coma, around her was her entire family, including her Father, and, she saw, for the first time in his life since he was 6, General Michael Titus cried

The Surprise had stayed in harbour for two weeks in the end, and had raised her Shore Leave Ensign again, with more limitations on what time the crew had to be back. With her shore leave over, she lowered her Shore Leave Ensign and the Navy Ensign was raised once more above the ship.
