In recent news, General Cardonnay, leader of Ritteland announced that the Jewish and Muslim population would be removed from their homes in urban Ritteland and be moved to the country side until they can be deported. After the removal of all gypsy's last month reports flooded in that extermination camps had been created. Riots amongst the Jewish and Muslim populations have already killed 4000 innocent civilians that is why General Cardonnay gave the order.

Hundreds of thousands of Jews and Muslims have already fled as laws have become more and more oppressive. This is it for Ritteland Nightly News.

We advise the Ritteland authorities to allow the Dersconi to move in with its humanitarian mission and ignore the other nations. The Free Republic (as usual) does not understand the condemning or deportation of peoples simply based on skin color, ethnicity or religion, however the disposition of the government of Ritteland towards it's people is a purely internal matter, no matter how reprehensible that disposition is.

The Free Republic maintains an open-door asylum policy and will gladly accept any citizens of Ritteland that seek asylum from it's oppressive government.

Official Communique --- The Democratic Islamic Republic of Italia Orientale

The Democratic Islamic Republic of Italia Orientale is disgusted by the vile acts being carried out by the government of Ritteland. We cannot idly stand by while our Muslim brothers as well as countless innocent Jews, Gypsies, and others are slaughtered with reckless abandon by a tyrannical government. That being said, we will open our nation to any refugees fleeing Ritteland and we are also prepared to intervene militarily if the slaughter does not cease. We are sending six passenger liners with military escorts to Ritteland to pick up any refugees of these cleansing campaigns. In an emergancy parliamentary session, Italia Orientale's government has authorized the release of at least $700 million to deal with the humanitarian fallout from this disaster. The money will be used to feed and clothe the refugess as well as to construct and support any relief camps that are established.

While we are sympathetic to Ralkovia’s wishes to protect its Jewish kin, as we are in protecting our Muslim brothers, we do not believe that an attack against any civilian targets in Ritteland is justified and thus we urge the Ralkovian government to show restraint in dealing with Ritteland’s population. We do not object to any strikes against government or military targets. While we will do everything in our power to end this mindless mass murder, we believe that a government as weak and cowardly as that in Ritteland can be dealt with without resorting to the same reckless disregard for human life as they have shown. However, we are nevertheless moving the Carrier Groups Uluj Ali and Giuseppe Garibaldi into the waters off of Ritteland. We are also sending the 12th Motorized Infantry Division and the 5th Air Cavalry Division in case the situation begins to get further out of hand. Needless to say, any attacks against our carrier groups or civilian passenger liners will be considered an act of war.

Judging from Ritteland’s size and military capabilities compared to those of its possible opponents, especially Ralkovia, we believe it is in the best interest of Ritteland’s government to cease its cleansing campaigns and, at the very least, allow the persecuted peoples to leave the country without threats to their well being. Anything less than an organized and peaceful evacuation of Muslims, Jews, Gypsies, and other oppressed groups from Ritteland, supported by that country’s government, will not be acceptable to us and, hopefully, the broader international community.
