The Federation of Mewsland and the Interstellar Galactic Republic of Pennsylvania. Two very close allies that would never have thought of attacking each other. However, they were secretly engaged in a race to break the warp 9.999 barrier that has plagued starships for years now. However, it was possible that this race could be over soon...

Mew) Stations, please. Take us clear of spacedock at 1/4 thruster power, 1/2 luminal once we're clear. I hope this refitted ship can end our race to Warp 9.999.

(OOC: PA, I hope this works. If not, I'll do something else.)

OOC:What i was thinking was we both conduct our tests at the same time, and than both ships accidently collide with each other, leading both of us attacked each others ship, than we just about end up in a War, but someone finds some Debris in the same area of space from both ships and we both find out that they collided due to a failure of Systems because of the extrememly high speed?, that sound good?

At the same time Mewsland was preparing to conduct Tests, the Interstellar Galactic Republic of Pennsylvania(IGRP) was conducting its own Warp 9.999 Ship Speed test, the IGRPS Constellation was currently going at 4.450 Warp Speed and speeding up for a test to see if the ship could break the 9.999 Warp Barrier

(OOC: Whoa! Okay. Voyager is NOT going to collide with a vessel. Mewsland's storyline is that the starship lasts until 2691 with 7 refits. Plus, President Mew is on board. Wait. I have an idea... maybe Voyager was forced to destroy the other vessel to prevent a collision, but all of the PA vessel's crew evacuated when they knew they would collide, and were later saved by Voyager's crew.)

OOC:You coulda ****ing told me about that you know, alright, i'll have my ship blow up for unstated reasons than we go into the Stressful Stage area and a scientist in my nation proves that my ship blew up due to faulty Reactor or something

Mew) Punch it.

Voyager's warp drive roared to life, then immediately shut down due to a failsafe activating.

Mew) Why are we not at warp speed?

Helm) One moment sir.

Mew) Engineering, what happened?

Angeline Scott) No idea, sir.

Science) Did you disengage the external inertial dampener?

Helm) No. Disengaging now.

Mew) Punch it.

The warp drive roared back, flinging the ship to superluminal speed.

(about one minute later)

Helm) Dang, this ship is fast. We're already at Warp 5.

Mew) It's going to get harder as we go.

Dont worry, lets just get back into some IC, i revised my last post with a refined idea

I saw it.

The Constellation Was already at Warp 9.5, and still speeding up, the Vessel was having some trouble with its Reactor and some of its Structural Trusses, but the Captain though nothing of it so didnt make a note to Supreme Command.

(OOC: Each vessel's computer tracks the speed of the other vessel and compares it to theirs. Oh, and here is an image of Mew.

Mew) Let's keep it up!

Science) Pennsylvanian vessel, sir! They are accelerating with us!

Mew) Darn. It's all up to who breaks 9.999 first. Let's hope the computers are tracking speed.

OOC:Ok thanks for the heads up, lets have my vessel beat your by about 10 seconds but it than blows up shortly thereafter due to a structural Failure

"Captain the Mewsland vessel is catching up"
"Kick it up to 120% power on the main reactor"
"Yessir"

Immediately the Constellation started picking up speed faster, it was now at 9.899 Warp

((Remember that you also have to hold warp 9.999!))

Science) They're at warp 9.899!

Mew) Darn! But! They have to hold it through the instability! Let's hope, however, that this race doesn't destroy another ship! Keep about two million miles' distance just in case it destroys them! We wouldn't get caught in the blast, but we would still be close enough to mount a rescue!

Meanwhile, back at both Mewsland and PA space, everyone was on tenterhooks, watching the holographic projectors of the speed indicators for both ships. Once a vessel hit 9.999, they would have to hold it for 15 seconds.

((I never planned on beating you, i would reach, hold it for a short, than there would be a structural Failure and the ship would basically disentegrate))

"Captain, we've got severe shaking in the Struts"
"Ignore it"

The Constellation was now at 9.979 Warp, a mere 10 seconds away from attaining 9.999

((I wasn't trying to make sure you wouldn't, I was just stating the rules of the contest that Mewsland and PA agreed on.))

Mew) Keep an eye on the Constellation!

Helm) 9.975!

"9.995 Captain"
"Hit up the last of the power"

Immediately Constellation picked up some more speed propelling it to 9.999

Science) They got it!

Mew) Darn.

About ten seconds later, however, the Voyager recorded a massive explosion from the Constellation.

Mew) My gosh! Take us out of warp NOW! All hands, brace for debris impacts!

Constellation Blew up as a result of a Titanium Sturt breaking free in the engine room being thrown into the nuclear reactor, causing a meltdown in the reactor, resulting in the Explosion, this explosion was recorded in in the CIC of the IGRPS Andrew Hundley Memorium, the Flagship of the IGRP Fleet, the immediate thought among the commanders was that the Mewsland vessel had destroyed the Constellation to keep them from attaining Warp 9.999, as a result, the Acting President, a profound Anti-Mewsland Person, order the 3rd Galactic Fleet, 46 Battlecruisers strong, with 30 Various smaller ships, to depart to a yet undecided Mewsland Colony with orders to wait outside of its Territory for further orders

(OOC: Are there any survivors?)

Mew) Open a channel to Kardon and the Pennsylvanian flagship.

Comms) Channel open.

Mew) This is President Mew. We have recorded an explosion of the Pennsylvanian vessel Constellation during a warp 9.999 test. We have not fired on the vessel, and tried to remain out of weapons range. We have immediately canceled this test run of the new Voyager (MCC-1701) to check for survivors and return to Mewsland space. Please respond.

"This is Galactic Admiral Werhner Von Braun, we have no reason to believe that you have opened fire but the Acting President Jacob Dixon has ordered us here while President O'Bryan is in the Hospitol"

OOC:No, basically what happened was a small nuclear explosin happened within the ship, but most of the outside hull held, if you were to enter the ship, it would be a empty shell, with only the rather thick outter hull remaining, everyone onboard was Vaporized

Mew) Admiral, can you get me President Dixon? I need to talk to him directly.

"He is currently in a Cabinet meeting so no, and between you and i Mr President, i would advise you dont speak to him directly, he is profound hater of your country, and talking to him directly would mot likely do more harm than good, if i were you, try to delay as long as possible until President O'Bryan gets out of the hospitol, he is a better person to talk to

Mew) Okay. We may not be able to delay, however. If President Dixon launches an invasion of Mewsland, we will have no choice but to engage you.

((I'm afraid that's it for me tonight))

"President O'Bryan should be out of the Hospitol in a Day or 2, if you talk to Secretary of Intergalactic States Shaffer you might have better luck with him, as he is one of O'Bryans Cabinet, and is far more in your countries favor than Dixon, he also has the Power to sign Treaties, so if you go through him you should be fine"

Mew) Okay. Patch me in to Mr. Shaffer.

(OOC: All fired up and ready to go.)

"Yes Mr President"

3 Minutes Later
"President Mew, Bryan Shaffer, may i ask what happened to the Constellation?"

Mew) We recorded a nuclear destabilization of the vessel's core just before it exploded, however, the outer hull is intact, we seem to be getting hit with the innards of the vessel. <bang>

(In background) I'm reading multiple debris pieces converging on our position! The whole ship is careening towards us!

Mew) Darn! Arm phasers, fire everything we have! Secretary, we have to destroy the vessel or risk the lives of 1600 people on this ship!

(In background) Sir! Another vessel coming in, sir! It's ours, sir. It's the Kelvin.

Kelvin) This is Captain Rachel Kine. Go ahead, sir.

Mew) The biggest pieces are your priority.

Kine) Aye.

Admiral Werhner Von Braun had just recieved word from the Acting President, Dixon wanted his ships to destroy the Voyager for them destroying the Constellation, he soon sent this to President Mew

"President Mew, Acting President Dixon has odered my fleet to destroy the Voyager, i need you to make all possible speed back to your home planet, we will be forced to pursue you, but if you get up to the fastest possible speed you should be at Kardon by the time President O'Bryan is out of the hospitol tomorrow, i will not open fire but i will be forced to pursue you, so as soon as yoo have destroyed the Constellation hulk please make all possible speed back home, buy enough time for President O'Bryan to recover"

Mew) Darn. Voyager to the Kelvin. Get rid of the rest of this. We're out of here!

Helm) Warp drive standing by for Kardon, sir.

Mew) Punch it.

Helm) Aye!

Mew) Captain Kine. I believe I need to choose my VP when I get back. I'd like you.

Kine) I'd be honored, sir.

Mew) See you back at K4.

The warp drive immediately flung Voyager back to warp speed while the Kelvin tied up the loose ends at the wreck of the Constellation.

Admiral Von Braun immediately began his pursuit as per orders, but being careful to stay just outside of his weapons range from the Voyager, and that he would do

Mew) Admiral, I would like you to speak with my new VP, Rachel Kine. She is on the Kelvin, and will talk to you while I tie everything up here.

An underlying text message was sent.

<Reply as if hostile to us, however, send text back stating your true intentions. Start firing minimal weapons at us, I have a plan.>

Mew) Darn. Our engines have just cut out. Engineering, how long for repairs??

Eng. Scott) Could take weeks, sir.

(unheard by the Admiral's fleet)

Mew) Aye. Tactical, ready a maximum yield photon torpedo. Make it look like a warp core overload due to damage. Helm, prepare to return to warp. Engineering, ready?

Scott) Aye.

"Vice-President Kine, my intentions are to shoot down the Voyager for destroying the Constellation"

My true intentions are to Pursue the Voyager while remaining just outside of weapons range until President O'Bryan is out of Surgery tomorrow

Kine) Darn you! Prepare to fire everything!

Very well, we will fire a Photon Torpedo ready to fire, tell Mew to slow his ship down just a bit so my Flagship can get into Range

<The Voyager's engines appear to have cut out, so she is restricted to impulse power. A very easy target.>

The IGRPS Andrew Hundley Memorium speed up, soon got in range, and fired a single Photon torpedo at the Voyager

Mew) Are shields down?

Tactical) Yes.

Mew) Fire the torpedo, and set to detonate in 15 seconds, that gives us enough time to reset the warp drive.

As soon as the torpedo was fired, the Photon torpedo fired by Von Brauns flagship was immediately deactivated, if it hit anything, it would not detonate

Computer) 10... 9... 8... 7...

Mew) Punch it as soon as the count hits one.

Helm) Aye.

Computer) 6... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...

The torpedo detonated, creating a massive explosion, as the Voyager went to warp under blankets of fire.

"Thank You Admiral" Acting-President Dixon said upon the Report of the Destruction of the Voyager, soon thereafter however, many people in the room just about had a heart attack when Dixons head split open as a Phaser blast hit him right between the Eyes. Dixon's dead body tumbled over, that was when everyone looked to the rooms door, standing in it was a squad of Intergalactic Marines, along with President O'Bryan. O'Bryan said.

"Open a channel with Admiral Von Braun, and either the Mewsland President or Vice Presdient, and anyone who resists me will suffer the same fate as that pig" O'Bryan pointed to Dixons body

Comms) President O'Bryan is hailing us.

Mew) I'll be darned. Open a conference channel to him, Admiral Von Braun and Vice-President Kine on the Kelvin.

Comms) Channels open.

Mew) President O'Bryan. A pleasure to see you again. No, we have not been destroyed, that was just a torpedo blast. May I introduce you to my new VP, Rachel Kine?

Kine) Good day, sir.

"Good day to the both of you, and just so you know, The Traitor Dixon has been executed by one of my Marines, so no need to worry about him, right now i just want to know what happened to the Constellation

Mew) As I said to Secretary Shaffer, we recorded a nuclear destabilization of the vessel's core before it exploded. However, most of the ship's outer hull was intact, and we were hit with debris from inside the ship. We were slightly damaged, however, with the help of the Kelvin, VP Kine's ship, we were able to destroy the larger debris pieces. There were no survivors.

"Ok i believe you, i would like to cooridinates of the remnants of the Constellation so that we may study it so as to be able to find out just what happened"

OOC:This will be my last post for a few hours

Mew) The remnants? Bearing 103 mark 061, from your home world, head in that direction about 600 light years, you will find the Kelvin (MCC-0514) and the Enterprise (MCC-1965) there, also studying the wreckage.

"Admiral, get to that site, i wanted you there yesterday"

Mew) Voyager is standing by, and we are heading in that direction. Cut the transmission.

Comms) Aye.

Mew) Set course.

Helm) Course laid in.

Mew) Punch it.

Meanwhile, on the home world of the pirates that have plagued Mewsland since the discovery of warp drive....

They were trying to test another 9.999 drive when the Pennsylvanian vessel exploded.

Yes, I am aware of that.

We would have conspired with Dixon were he not killed. However, the flag of the Pennsylvanian fleet, as well as Voyager, will be heading to the wreck site.

Perfect..... we shall finally give the Mews what they deserve...... a nuclear weapon right in Mew's ship's warp core might do the trick... that will cause Kine to declare war on the Pennsylvanians as acting president, and result in the destabilization of Kardon's government... after which we can take over!

"Admiral, any idea what happened"
"We know the reactor blew up, the entire inside of the ship is not outside of it, we found a piece of the reactor with a hole in it, so most likely a strut flew into the reactor causing it to blow it up Mr President"
"Thank you Admiral"

At the same time, President O'Bryan sent a message to President Mew Explaining what happened

(OOC: One Mewsland Stardate=1 year, .01 stardate= 3.65 Earth Days)

Mew) Understood. Mew out. Open a channel to the Kelvin.

Comms) Channel Open.

Mew) Rachel, you there?

Kine) Here, as always, Mr. President.

Mew) I have a bad feeling about going to the wreck site. It makes me feel like we're heading into a trap.

Kine) I'll keep that in mind, and order Yellow over here.

Mew) I'll do the same, good luck, Mew out.

Captain's log, stardate 2558.43: Returning to the wreck of the Constellation makes me wonder about the true meaning of this race. Fifty years of this. 60 starships lost by both sides, thousands of crew dead. However, even going to the wreck to help with research makes me uneasy, as if we're running into a trap.

"Admiral, is there anything we can do back here to better find out what happened?"
"Not really sir, the reactor had a meltdown, i think thats as far as we are gonna get"
"Very well, prepare to destroy the husk, i will send word to Mew that we are gonna destroy the husk over"

Shortly thereafter, O'Bryan sent a message to Mew telling him he could go home to Kardon as they were about to destroy the husk, as it was of no use to bother towing it back home

Mew) We're already on the way to the wreck site. Besides, I'd like to do a final debriefing on this mess.

"That would not be a good idea, as Admiral Von Braun has just fired his Photon torpedos at the husk to destroy it"

And O'Bryan was not lieing, as he had been making this call, Von Braun had been lining up the shots, and now 200 Photon Torpedos were flying towards the Husk of the Constellation, soonthereafter blowing it into many smaller pieces

Mew) Well then, by the time we get there, the debris should have been destroyed. Besides, I need to meet with VP Kine on the Kelvin.

<Bump for PA.>

OOC:Im gonna post tomorrow, it 2:30am right now

"Very well, but by the time you arrive, Admiral Von Braun will hve already departed the area"

Mew) If you will excuse me, Mr. President. It was he I also need to see. Like I said, I need to do a final debriefing on this mess, maybe construct some kind of makeshift memorial until we can get the Kardon (MCC-2070) out here to build a better one.

"Unfortunately we need him back here as he was in the middle of training some new recruits when this happens, and he needs to get back to training them as his current flagship is about to undergo a refit and they were gonna crew the temporary flagship he would have"

Mew) Nuts. Well, we're at the scene, myself, the Kelvin, and Enterprise will head back to-

BANG!

Mew) What the heck?

In background) We are under attack from an unknown vessel! It appears to be of Pennsylvanian origin!

Mew) Mr. President! Are you out of your mind?

"What the hell are you talking about, all of our ships arent even near the area"

Mew) Check again! Shields up, arm phasers, fire everything!

"If you need assistance i can order one of the Battlecruisers back"

Mew) If you're offering assistance, then who in the heck is attacking us?

"Dont ask me, it isnt my Fleet that is attacking"

Mew) I'll be darned. We sure could use some help out here. It's just two heavy cruisers and a scout out here.

"Roger that i'll order 2 Battlecruisers back"

OOC:My battlecruisers are the ships that are used in the starting battle scene in Star Wars Revenge of the Sith

Mew) That would be helpful! We're taking a severe beating here!

"Roger, they will be there in about 10 Minutes, hang on"

A large bang came over the speakers, followed by a zap (probably an overload) and a scream.

Mew) Medical team to the Bridge!

Helm) There goes another ship.

Mew) Mr. President. The Enterprise has been destroyed. 162 were saved, out of 1 795.

"Admiral, turn your ass around and get all your ships back there to help them YESTERDAY!!"

On the Kelvin...

Science) Shields are gone!

Kine) Darn. Keep firing, the rest of the fleet will show up in about five minutes!

At all the starbases...

The destruction of the Enterprise tripped an alarm back in the Mewsland galaxy. All the starbase were scrambling a good part of the 2500-ship fleet to strategic locations across the Galaxy, as well as sending the Kardon (MCC-2070) and the Intrepid (MCC-1700) to the aid of Voyager and the Kelvin.

Soon thereafter, 2 Battlecruisers, the IGRPS Earth and VY Canis Majoris Showed up, they immediately began firing Broadside after broadside at the Ship, each ship carried 300 Cannons on each side, as well as 100s of Photon Torpedos, which they began firing at the Ship as well, plus launching their massive fleets of Space Fighters

Science) Sir! We have a problem! Picking up five of the same vessel attacking us! No- make that ten! <beep> 20! <beep> 30!

Mew) By Jove! Hail the PA vessels, and tell them just what the heck we've found!

"Roger that Mr. President, the rest of the home Fleet is 5 Minutes out, theres almost 50 Battlecruisers and around 100 Smaller Vessels in it"

Mew) Hurry it up, darn it! Our shields are almost gone, and the Kelvin is taking damage to her hull!

At that moment, the Home Fleet showed up, immediately the Battlecruisers of the Fleet split up to head off the new Enemy vessels as well as cut them off, while the Dreadnoughts attacked from the sides with their massive arsenals of over 1,800 Cannons, while the Smaller vessels attacked from the top and bottom and weaved in between the ships harassing them like wolves on sheep

Mew) Let's go! Arm phasers and point defense cannons, take us into point-blank range!

The Largest ship in the Fleet, the IGRPS Annihalator, as well as the other 18 Dreadnoughts, all aimed their guns at the Ship that appeared to be the Enemy fleets flagship, soon 15,300 Cannons fired at the Ship

Many of the cannons hit the Voyager as she did her run over the enemy vessel, knocking it right into the same vessel.

Mew) You mind telling me what the heck that was for?

"Well Mr President could you please try to stay out of the line of Fire?"


OOC:Is it ok if i RP some of the vessels being destroyed or do you solely want to do that?

Mew) You knew we were moving in for a firing run. We're going to try again as soon as we can get turned around.

<I'll go ahead and RP the vessels being destroyed.>

"Well unforunately we have 1,800 Gun crews onboard each of the Dreadnoughts so word doesnt travel very fast", soon thereafter, another broadside was fired from the ships at several of the vessels

Mew) Here we go. We'll be on the dorsal side of the vessel, so watch your fire. Arm phasers, fire everything we have.

"Roger"

OOC:Ya lost me at dorsal, i know Bow, Stern, Port, Starboard, Top and Bottom but dorsal?, im at a loss

Mew) Fire everything! We're right on top of her!

"Roger"
"Let her rip" The Admiral Said, and soon thereafter close to 22,000 Cannons fired at the Ship adding in the Battlecruisers than had joined in

Voyager scrambled out of the way after her run, then joined in with her many cannons.

"Hit the enemy with the Torps"
Soon thereafter, over 2,000 High Power Photon Torpedos began tracking in on the many enemy ships

The vessel exploded, but the damage had been done. The Kelvin had vented atmosphere on nine of its 63 decks, and Voyager had severe scorching to her hull, including her brand-new warp 9.999 engines.

"President Mew Damage report?"

<Kelvin has 63 decks, I need to correct that.>

Mew) The Kelvin has vented atmosphere on decks 3, 6, 9, 21, 33, 45, 54, 57, and 61. We have severe scorching to our hull, and our warp drive is fried until we can get new field coils.

OOC:Where are we testing at?, closer to Kardon or Closer to VY Canis?

IC:
"Roger that, we will escort you until you either join up with one of your fleets or make it to a Repair Station"

<It's somewhere in between the two galaxies. The power of the warp 9.999 drive is so great that it would rip apart Warp Space if an accident happened. To prevent cutting off planets from either civilization, the tests were conducted in open space.>

Mew) The Kardon (MCC-2070) and the Intrepid (MCC-1700) are on their way now.
