Overview, general statistics and other general information
Overview: The purpose of this fact book is to give an insight into the armed forces of The Wolf Hold. It will go into the overall structure of each branch of the armed services, their equipment and the tactics used. This fact book will also give fact files on several of the elite units deployed by the armed forces of the Wolf Hold. This fact book is available to all governments and nations and therefore contains little or no information regarding classified projects or subjects that could compromise the security of The Wolf Hold.

Brief history on the armed forces as a whole
The modern force that is the armed forces of The Wolf Hold that are seen on this days modern battlefield is a far cry from that of the past. Up until the Dercius rebellion that finally forced the corrupt, dictator of a president out onto the streets and into the hands of the people he betrayed, the armed forces of The Wolf Hold had suffered. The corrupt politicions had been much more content with lining their pockets, then funding the under-equipped, under-manned and under-motivated drib-drab of men that made a mockery of the word military. They fought with out-dated weaponry and equipment and their tactics and training was just about as old and as out-dated.
After the rebellion, the 1st Wolf's Marshall poured large percentages of national funding into the military. He purchased new weapon systems, new equipment, better accommodation and other necessities for a modern day soldier to be combat effective. Alongside this massive influx of equipment, the Marshall also installed extensive training regimes, recruitment campaigning and he reveres legislation set down by the previous government that prohibited women and homosexuals from joining. The mockery of an armed force that was barely 200,000 strong had been brought into a force that now well exceeds 12 million well trained, well equipped, battle hardened men and women.
Flag of the armed forces
The flag of the armed forces consists of two winged wolves the white and black one being Fell and the other his sister Larka, both of them feature heavily in the ancient beliefs of the Wolf Hold, this ancient religion is prevalent in the armed forces in so far as the flag and names of ships. Next is the arrow shaped rock that Larka and Fell are holding upright, this rock represents the support the armed forces gives to the Wolf Hold, in a similar way the sword represents the armed forces might and that it is the back bone of the nation. Finally the two stripes of black and crimson represent to personnel colours of the 1st Wolf's Marshall.

Pre Uprising History:
Cain was born to a simple family in the mountains near Wolf Mountain, his family suffered heavily under the heavy taxes the corrupt president levied upon the poor and weak. At the age of 15 his family were so badly in debt that they couldn't pay the taxes to the government, this lead to in the middle of the night a squad of men in black combats coming in the middle of the night, torching the house and throwing the family out into the cold of the mountains, his farther was then accused of several crimes that was proven later that he didn't commit and was summarily executed by that hit squad in the mountains. Leaving 15 year old Cain and his mother 42 year old Debbie Martha Cain out in the ice and snow of Wolf Mountain. They managed to scrape together enough supplies from the smouldering ruins to survive the three days journey to the nearest settlement.
Upon arriving their Cain's mother was already violently ill with hypothermia and she needed immediate hospital care, however due to the debts owed by the family they couldn't access the healthcare system. This lead to Cain's mother dying in his arms in the back street gutter, of the snow covered settlement. The deaths of his parents and seeing the utter depravity of the towns people, sent Cain into a pit of anger. His father had always taught him to look after other people as they will in turn look after you. Cain then decided he was going to seek out the resistance movement, a every increasing group of people who wanted the president removed from office. He found this group after three weeks of hard work and searching. To cut a long story short he met up with the resistance with a fire in his eye, however only being 15 years of age he wasn’t considered ready to fight.
