Opening Paragraph(s): The Technonaut's have long hidden many things from the uncleansed, never allowing any to know of their greatest sin and darkest desires. Shielding even their own from its knowledge, not wishing to corrupt anymore than they must. This latest threat to all things Technonaut has arisen from their first deadly and nearly forgotten by all but the Alphas of their collective sin. This deep and abiding sin lead directly to the flight and exile of the collective from their home galaxy and the source of much of their terrible power, but now abit of backstory is needed.

Each Sphere is constructed through the death of a planet, some inhabited but most not, the majority are built after a major victory over a particularly annoying uncleansed. A planet with a radius of at least 4750 kilometers is compressed through the subtle increasing effects of a gravitation burst, this burst which can equal the combined energies of several G-8 type stars for one year is focused into a single minute burst that increases the internal gravity field of the planet enough for it to collapse into a roughly 300 kilometer radius, the burst also alters the internal characteristics of the newly created sphere, first locating most of its gravity to the sides with a smaller amount directed to its core, this give sthe outer armor a great density allowing it to absorb (or deflect) nearly anything at least for atime, as the beam begins to wane a secondary one is active this one further refines the interior of the sphere, creating the consoles and the walkways that the Cleansed still must use, after this refiguring of the internal atomic structure, the Sphere creates release a nanobot storm to finish the final touches on both the exterior and the interior, including the fine transformation of the sphere into a Sphere, the construction and installment of the Sphere's Overmind, Master and power core(s). After some further testing and the venting of the correct atmosphere the new crew is welcomed aboard and a new Sphere is created and ready to serve the collective, the total procure can last from several weeks to multiple years depending on the needs and missions of the new Sphere and the urgency.

As the Technonaut have been rather rushed in their construction of new Spheres in the Milky Way, the 1,000 Spheres constructed have a fatal flaw in their inner cores, a simple yet painfully hard to destroy interference wave in the FTL drives, this interference if not corrected will destroy the spheres and all the cleansed on them in roughly three galactic weeks, this destruction will not be pretty, it will release all that it took to build the respective Spheres in a single burst lasting only a few seconds, as it took several rather decent solar energy levels to create them and the sudden expansion that it would entail, this sudden destruction will have wider breaches to the outer community. First it will very likely create a dead zone for most if not all FTL travel in a several light year radius for many decades, it will also irradiate a much larger area with a gamma burst level event, and unfortunately due to the nature of the Technonaut FTL, this event will also move at FTL speeds, roughly twice the speed of light(so unless you have ungodly amounts of radiation shielding you're way dead before you the actual event/explosion)...(there are a few more unfortunate effects that could happen if they do go boom, but I'd like to keep some secrets for now/not drive everyone off just yet.)

OCC
Theres the situation, now I want to try something different(at least for me) a semi already scripted thread. First you will need to find a sphere, the galaxy is a big place and their are only a couple thousand of them so that easier said then done. Second you have to persuade them that something is wrong and they need to fix it or they'll go boom(if you tell them that the thing is wrong they'll likely figure out the boom part on their own) Third, you must destroy any that resist the general orders that the Alphas will send out if you persuade successfully. Fourth you destroy the outliners and everyone goes home happy or you screw up and everything goes boom destroying a decent part of the galaxy and messing up most FTL for a decent time. Also note all of able and below is heavily open to changes such as where this takes place, since most FT seem to call the Milky Way home the whole destruction sequence maybe abit to godmoddy. Also the three galactic week translates into you have three weeks form the start of the actual roleplay to stop the destruction of they will go boom ie an artificial time limit. A word to the wise heed the thread title...

Now for some more information first the bad. The Technonaut's due to a flaw in their internal sensors and/or arrogance(take your pick) won't beable to detect their immediate destruction until well they're destroyed so they'll be doing what they will all over the milky way ticking down to their destruction, they will also not believe you unless you can show them hard data that their own sensors are flawed and they are ticking time bombs(and/or are very persuasive) and as the core is rather heavily shielded against outside influences so you will likely need to be either some how attached to the sphere.

The good: If you can find, persuade and warn one sphere, you'll alert them all to the problem.

Back to bad: They'll need help figuring out how not to go boom and take everything out in a several ly radius and some will likely not heed your warning/evac their Sphere and use it as a weapon...

Would you allow a Sphere to be near/in one of your systems?(Y/N):
Do you think we should stick to the Milky Way or another galaxy?(suggests if the second opinion would be nice):
Will you be active for at least three weeks?:
Any other information you wish to express?:

Comments, Suggestions and the like are also nice...
