Several Years ago, UDS Shipyard
"Well here you go Fleet Commander Morgan, the Carrier and a Fleet if escorts are yours" William Price said to the UNS man, the United States of Pennsylvania had just paid for a Kratik Class CVN, 60 AV-8B Harriers, and 50 Dr'klow class Frigates for the UNS Navy, totaling nearly 11 Billion Dollars.
4 Years Later
"What!!!, those ungrateful pieces of shit, after what we gave them"
President Andrew Hundley was fuming mad, the United North States had just attacked some of his troops during a Mission to Sorsk. Resulting in around 20 Dead Pennsylvanian troops, as well as all the Harriers, the Kratik, and 9 of the Frigates that had been given to UNS being destroyed
3 Weeks later
Admiral John Hanson looked out the Bridge of the USS Bartelemeo Mancuso at the other ships in his fleet, he had orders to blockade the coast of United North States and pave the way for a ensuing Amphibious assault. In his fleet were
2 Bartelemeo Mancuso Class SuperCarriers
3 Nimitz Class CVNs

12 Ticonderoga Class CGMs
43 Arleigh Burke DDGs
19 Spruance Class DDGs

Hume, UNS capitol city:
It was inevitable... Our massive preparations had gone on far to long for us to simply stand down...
Hello and welcome back, this is Sally Summers from GNN reporting live from the UNS parliament. Prime Minster Hume will be addressing the Public in just a few short moments..."
We were like a coiled spring, ready to throw ourselves into the fray...
"...Yes in just a few short moments. This being just for days after the official unveiling of the Sorkien war memorial...
All we waited for was one word...attack
"...And here he is ladies and Gentlemen, Prime Minister Hume!"
A thunderous welcome rippled though the large theater. Reports, Politicians, even just plain citizens had come from every part of the Commonwealth to hear the Prime Ministers announcement. Finally subsiding a commanding voice crack through the loud speakers.
"Welcome! It's good to see you all here today!" Spoke the Prime Minister his voice boarding on yelling into the microphone.
"And it will be even better, to see our armies breaking through the USPA!" The crowd of people went wild cheering, hanging off his every word.
"Then will teach those parasites how to fight!" Removing the microphone from the stand Prime Minster Hume paced around the stage.
"They thought they could bully us into submission, they thought we would give way and fall! But today will show them the Commonwealth bows to no one!" At this the crowd nearing closer to a mob screamed. The Prime Minister had turned this into a frenzy.
"Today will show them the might, Of, The, UNITED NORTH STATES!" Saluting the air the mob quickly did the same.
"Be ready, We Go to War!"

Upon this news Boradcast, the entire airwing from the USS Bart Mancuso, 96 F-35IIIs, descended upon Hume with orders to hit Military installations throughout the city.
At the same time, 20 Tomahawks were launched at wavetop height towards the UNS Naval Shipyards

UNS City: Hope: Downtown: Home Guard Depot:
In response to the fighters the UNS deployed their counter measures, the Oerlikon 35's. Lighting up the afternoon sky with the SAPHEI's . While the men on the ground rushed to their vehicles. Artillery units on the outlying hills load their weapons. While the main bulk of UNS tanks and infantry made their way to the harbor.
UNS City: Hope: Naval Ship Yard:
Another explosion was heard. The UNS frigates Respect took one more hit by the missile, going up in a dazzling explosion. The UNS had lost a total of five ships on the first wave of attacks. The main force of UNS ships, including the newly built but yet to be tested UNS battleships Mercury and Martyrdom had survived. Targeting the USPA the fleet let out a massive counter attack of Boeing Harpoons.

Between the Massive numbers of SAM Missiles and large numbers of Decoys launched by the Ships, none of the Harpoons scored a direct hit, but a few of the ships suffered Shock damage from missiles that detonated nearby in the water.
The launch points of the Harpoons were recorded, and immediately 2 Tomahawks were launched at each, each set had 1 missile carrying a 2,000 pound warhead, the other missile in each set had 40 Mortar round sized submunitions in it

UNS City: Hope: Naval Ship Yard:
One of the frigates was hit by the tomahawks. Luckily because of the decons the ship deployed only one of the missiles hit, causing moderate damage to the ship. The two battleships moved into postions and aimed and fired their Mark 7 Naval guns at the advancing ships.
UNS City: Hope: Upper Distract:
Almost all the civies had be evacuated from the City. People were confused. Struggling to carry their personal belonging on their backs. Lucky ones (Namely the rich) could afford to take the now sought after city buses out of the city. Local police worked with the Army setting up sand bags and other defenses in and around the city...
UNS City: Hope: Lower Distract: Harbor:
The UNS foces at the Harbor had just started to build up their anti tank and machine gun emplacements. The beach was turned into a mine field. Mom 'n Pop stores turned to bunkers. Churches turned to watchtowers. The UNS was ready. This was not Sorsk, this was their land, and it would be fought on their terms.

OOC:At the first part, my ships are 75 miles out to sea :)
IC:
A KH-12 ReconSat passed over the Hume Naval Yards, they soon spotted the Battleships, soon thereafter, 500 Harpoon missiles were launched from 2 Airwings of F-35IIIs holding 40 Miles out to sea came screaming in solely at the 2 Battleships.
Meanwhile, the 23 Virginia Class subs were moving in close to the harbor at a mere 6 Knots, far to slow to be heard by any sonar. After getting in close, and as the Harpoons were screaming overhead, the subs came to missile launch depth and launched their 276 Tomahawk Anti-Ship missiles. These missiles were guided to a Target by GPS Coordinates, than when they got near the target switched to IR Targeting, Rendering Decoys and Jamming useless

14-05-2009, 00:59
UNS City: Hope: Naval Ship Yard:
The two battleships, now heavily damaged fired their AA batteries at the F-35 IIIs. The frigates, not faring much better fired whatever they had left at the USPA fleet and started to move away from the Ship Yard. Although they couldn't destroy the fleet they gave the Home guard enough time to set up their defenses. The burden now came on them...
UNS City: Hope: Lower Distract: Harbor:
Double checking their defenses the UNS settle in to their postions. Once in range the big guns would fire upon the amphibious assault...

All that the frigates managed to do was essentially destroy the majority of the electronics onboard 2 of the Frigates.

The Submarines dived deep, avoiding any major damage from the Depth charges
As for the remaining ships, fully 750 Harpoons were soon fired at them, going at wavetop height towards the remaining (insert Number here) UNS Navy Ships, evenly split

14-05-2009, 02:12
The sailors just barely manged to escape the wrath of the missiles by deploying their life boats. with most of the ships ether sinking or too heavily damaged to move, it was a sorry shight to see the fine vessals in ruin. Yet the sailors strangely enough started to laugh. The USPA had spent millions of dollars worth of missles and equipment to destroy the ships they bought for them. It acutally cost the USPA more to win this battle than it did the UNS to lose. Giving the salute to the USPA ships the life boats quicky moved to the shore.
United States of PA
14-05-2009, 02:23
Admiral Hanson laughed silently, those men honestly thought that it mattered about how much money had been spent and lost here, the Very ship he was standing on cost 3 times as much money to build and arm than the money that had been spent to equip the UNS Navy and to sink it.

Inside the command center things were in chaos. With most the fleet destroyed the officers were trying their best to regain contact with them. However while they waited for the sailors to contract them they had the matter of the ships to deal with. The ships were in range for are heavy artillery. This was their only chance, if they could destroy some of their ships before they reload their missiles we could end this war prematurely.

OOC:The KH-12s i use are basically the same as the RL KH-12 if i remember them correctly, give me a bit to look thme up than i will tell you
Heres a short Outline
#1 ReconSat is launched into orbit either by a Ares IV Rocket or a Delta II Rockets
#2 Satellite reaches a Inertia(Velocity) of at least 17,000 MPH before separating from the Rocket
#3 The Satellite deploys
#4 The Satellite now orbits earth every about 91 Minutes, has Manuerving Fuel to either reroute the rocket or cause it to slow down to allow a longer Time over Target
Thats how it is launched and set up basically, my version of the KH-12 has 10 Cameras, all are capable of IR and Regular Pictures, plus some others i dont exactly wanna name, they also have 3 Video Cameras capable of turning to look at a Target before it passes overhead, also IR and Regular Picture capable
Also, Harpoons have a range of 50 miles and Tomahawks 2,000 if i remember correctly

Very well, we have also seen several Flak Batteries, so we instead suggest SF Teams inserted by Rubber Dinghy away from the beaches than crossing by land to take out the SAMs and/or report on enemy troops

'Major Roman please follow me." spoke the men walking briskly to the exit.
"Hey, mind telling what the hell's happening?" whispered Major Roman angerily. "First you pull Two armored divisions out of Sorsk, now I get sent back here."
"Please sir just follow me." Responded the man while opening the back seat of a van . Once inside the van Major Roman was violently pushed to the ground by a set of strong arms.
"What the Fu-!" before Major Roman could could finish his profanity a black bag was shoved over his head.
"Mmmh! Hmmm! Gmmm!" Shouted the Major.
"Hold still sir." said a meek voice behind him.
"Herman is he clean?"
"Yep."
Sunddnely the strong arms holding him down. forced him (abit a little more gently) into a chair. With his arms now free Roman riped the bag off his head, only to be greeted with the Prime Minister... or at least his image of a television.
"Hume, I m-m mean prime Minister Hume sir... what the hell just happened?"
"Sorry, for the mess Major but after the whole Sorsk ordeal I thought it best to make sure my best and brightest were still mine"
"What... you thought I was bugged?" yelled the Major
"Yes Major, and I would ask off you to keep a civil tone with me. Now this car will bring you to Hope, you'll get your debrief there." Hume paused if someone was speaking to him on the other side. 'Oh yes, and welcome back to the Commonwealth Ronald...err Roman."

The satellite "seeing" the laser targting it deployed it's target jammer. These little bugger homed in onto the USPA satellite, latching on they delivered a wave of emp to it. The laser weaved left a right prematurity hitting on a large chunk of space junk. Taking advantage of the USPA's temporary blindness the UNS satellite moved behind a derelict space satellite out of their line of sight. It then zoomed its cameras back into their original position and started to take more photos of the USPA fleet. Discovering several troop flanking movements. Quickly the data was transmitted to command who then sent a division to intercept the USPA soldiers.
UNS City: Hope: Upper District: City Square:
The last fighter unload its deadly package of bombs on the empty city square then flew off barely dodging between whips of AA fire. Most of the Flak- 10's units had been moved away from square but three had been destroyed in the attack, twelve more were unusable because of crew deaths. However the fighters had failed to hit the infantry, who held up in basements. Spiriting they set up a perimeter of defense around the now defenceless square.
UNS City: Outskirts of Hope:
Reports had come in that the USPA were finally going to make their push. The Artillery units determined to stop even one USPA soilder to step onto UNS soil started to bomb the waters near the shore. Hopefully deterring the USPA from entering the beach.
On another side of the outskirts lay the UNS fort: St. Joan of Arc. Pulling up in a army hummer was Major Roman. Walking briskly towards entrance of the fort he met his new commander... or old one.
"General Riza, Ma'am, I thought you were still in Sorsk?"
"It'll take more than a few dozen tons of paper work for me to miss the invasion of our Mother land."
"Ha ha, so what are we up against?
The general suddenly lost her smile. " The combined forces of the USPA, Black hawk and I new one... New England."
"Just like old times eh' Beth three against one, I feel sorry for them."
"Me too Roman, now that we have a spy in orbit they won't have the advantage on us like they did in Sorsk."
"Good, well I'll get squared away and take my unit out for patrol..." Roman said walking into the fort.
"About that Roman I'm sorry..."
The Major, stopped turning head " What is it?"
"There was nothing I could do..."
"Just spit it out!"
"You've been promoted to field commander."
The Major sunk back, though the rank field commander gave him power almost that of a general it also meant that he wouldn't be able to fight with his men anymore. "Who, is, replacing, me." Roman asked trying his best to keep his anger in check.
"Crowley."
"That Jesus freak, how old is he, twenty. God help us all."
"Look Co- Roman you still have a few weeks before that paper work gets done. I want you and your Grenadiers to scout out for some enemy activity spotted a few clicks from here."
"Yes, Ma'am!" shouted Roman, saluting her he jogged towards the armoury.

((I'll edit my post to be a little more... real. Also I think were getting a bit derailed, this is blockade and invasion not blockade and bomb the hell out of the UNS :D. Let's argee that in the next few posts we could get to where the USPA/Battlehawk/New England forces would storm the beach. ))
just be happy its only 3, i could have Oseato in here and he is larger than myself, NE, and Battlehawk i believe but i told him don't worry
((Thank you sir for being so kind on a unworthy soul like me. May I forever be in debt to you  Ha ha just kidding.))
Also, its BATTLEHAWK, not Blackhawk
((It's a minor spelling error, I'll correct it from now on. I'm sorry if it bothered you in anyway, I know how sometimes the minor things are the most annoying... *cough* I not i *cough* ;) ))

UNS City: Outskirts of Hope:
Not a sound could be heard: the wind blowing though the trees covered the advance of the small recon squad. Each member of the squad was outfitted with a cold suit, the pinnacle of UNS stealth technology. Ghillie suits designed with heat sinks. It was damn near impossible to spot them.
Each one was a trained hunter form the Northern territory. Raised from birth by their fathers on the ideal of one deadly shot to end the battle. To stop the mightiest of beast with only their eyes and minds. Today, they were hunting beings little stronger then the bears they fought in their youths. Stopping they saw a small patch of land different from the rest.
These men were smarter than the bears, they knew how to hide.
To the untrained eye this batched was no different then another. However the sign was obvious to them. They had stopped here then moved west towards the fire base. They had left small makings:
fresh
Meaning they were here five to fifteen minutes ago. Avoiding roads would have been their main priority that was for sure. All the tress looked the same, they would have to depend on their GPS to find their way through these forests. GPS meant a way to track them or at least their general area. The point man took at a small black box.It was a simply machine with a small dial and a green light that flashed when they were getting closer to what ever they were tracking. Holding it up to the sky he followed the diction west, towards the fire base.
Earth: Northwestern Hemisphere: Orbit:
The old satellite exploded from the massive salvo. The UNS spy behind it however fared better. The intense heat and pressure caused the right wing of the Satellite to fold. It started it plummet
down,
down,
down,
before it deployed it aft rockets slowing the speeding hunk of metal down. After hitting earth the spy sat ran a self test, transmitted all data gathered till the millisecond it hit earth. then gave a robot equalivet of a sigh and shut down.
UNS City: Outskirts of Hope:
Thanks to the final transmission from the spy sat the UNS manged to move their aritlly units out of the direct impact zone. Flak-10's were alerted and let out a wall of flak at the incoming missiles. Because the missiles were flying at such a low alttuide to avoid radar they made perfect targets for the flak guns. However many failed to deploy as the missles countied toawrds their target. A few missiles, almost thirty made their way past the wall.
Two artillery units were destroyed along with three hummers positioning close to them. The fire support learning their lesson silenced their guns and repositioned their weapons.

OOC:I cant change the name of the thread, i can only change the name of the First post, not the overall thread name
And also, Flak is actually less effective at low altitude as the shells would not have enough time to go off properly, that was a hard earned lesson in WW2, i cant tell you how many ships were lost because someone thought flak was effective at low altitude
IC:
20 Miles from any site of fighting or bombing so far, 3 Small Rubber Dinghys carrying 30 men of Seal Teams 1-3 inserted silently, these men were all Hunters back in Pennsylvania, they could make their way through a forest unnoticed to Animals who had a far better sense of hearing and smell than any human, so therefore, within 7 Seconds of landing, all 30 men was in the woods and grouping together to plan what to do

Hundreds of Cargo Aircraf, escorted by swarms of F-32's flew over the land, they'd found an area of safetly, flying lower they began to deploy their troops. Paratroops drifted down to the floor. Once down the troops began to set-up their base camp, and soon a earth mount surronded the tent base. A smaller group of soldiers were a half mile away, preparing an landing strip of Hercules Transporters.
At the Same time, THe Longsword class fired once more, this time targeting atilliry postions that had been detected on sattelite (OOC: Note the Missiles firing have a 2000km range), The F-32's returned as well, having reloaded on the carrier and began to hit atilirry and the newly arrived infantry

((USPA: Darn, oh well, maybe one of us can make an OOC sign up thread? To the flak response thanks for the info, I was referring to their ability to easily target the missiles but I never knew about what you said. I will change my post accordingly. Also I wonder where you got the "hunter" part of your post from from ; ) ))
UNS City: Outskirts of Hope:
The trees manged to take the worst of the explosion. Only two Artillery units were heavily damaged. Leaving Most of the Artillery units relatively unharmed though their operators still in a state of shock. However sixteen support staff members were killed, eighteen wounded. The forest were there only protection from the hell which was the Battle Hawk and USPA missiles. Repairing their damaged units the looked to the sky wondering if the spy satellites were watching them now...
UNS City: Outskirts of Hope: Near Battle Hawk Base Camp:
The remaining Grenadier Regiment led by Major Roman surroded the Battle Hawk paratrooper base. Five hundred strong they were all veterans of Sorsk. Surrporting them were parts of Wilkins mechanized Division. Already snipers had set up their positions around the camp, while light mortar teams were awaiting the green light to fire their White phosphorus rounds. Before Roman ordered the attack he quickly reviewed the plan:
He was impressed they had already set up base defense even if it was a crude earth mount. Of course it would be no use against the Bradley's they had on standby. Their Fire support would be at the minus to avoid blue on blue situations.AT units could be a problem agasint the APC's but he wasen't even sure they had AT squads with them.
"To all Kelly sharp shooters you have green light." said Roman, taking off the safety he awaited the crack of the rife.
Karl had his finger on the trigger for hours giving a whole new meaning to itchy trigger finger. He had picked his target: a Black Hawk officer talking right out in the open with one of his radio jocks. Applying the lightest amount of force to the sensitive trigger the rife fired.
"Mad Man light artillery you have green light!" Shouted Roman motioning his men to advance.
The mortar teams fired their weapons. Sailing high up into the air then failing fast igniting into white gas concealing the infantry troop movements. Several other WP rounds hit the Black Hawk infantry tents. Giving third degree burns to anyone unlucky enough to be caught in the radius.
"Wild Cat APC'S move up!" Screamed the Major while bullets whizzed past his head.
Six Bradley's started to move into the camp. The troops inside fresh from training and eager to get a taste of real combat.

The Fleet, which had moved to 30 Miles offshore, just outside of Artillery Range, the Battleships began lobbing their SABOT Rounds, with a range of up to 50 Miles, at the Attacking troops, more BGM-111 IIIs were launched yet again, except this time with Multiple Independent Targeting Units, in other words they carried 40 Mortars rounds each that could be guided in to their targets by IR Seekers in the warheads. The Battleships 16 inch SABOT Rounds had the blast radius of 12 inch Naval Cannons, the 2 Battleships fired a total of 900 Rounds at the attacking force, and 120 Rattlesnake IIIs were also launched.
Coastline
Fully 600 Rattlesnake IIIs with 3,000 Pound warheads were flying towards a 10 Mile long section of beach, flying at a mere 8 Feet, they could not be targeted effectively, and they carryied a strong enough shock wave to set off any mines within a 200 Ft radius

Now Members of the Battlehawk Paratrooper Corps, of the Battlehawk Airbourne, aren't stupid, theyknew that a tent base was vunerable, especially without support. So the majority of the paratroopers weren't even in the base.
As the attack Began two flights f F-32's swopped down on the attacking troops. Napalm charges were dropped all around the outside of the perimiter base. Once the Napalm had died down the Paratroopers broke from their cover postions around the base.
ParaEngineers picked their Javilins from under camonets and fired them at any and all armour around the base. The rest of the troops advanced on the enemy shooting anything left alive after the napalm attack.
The 9,500 troops advanced in a wide circle on the camp, high above, the first of the hercules cargo planes could be heard.

((I'm sorry, your aircrafts fire at your own base not concerned about friendly fire? Then amidst the confusing your engineers fire at the Bradley's they somehow know about even if they were covered by a smoke screen. The go on to say the majority of the paratroopers weren't even in the base because it was vulnerable (Wouldn't that mean they should have built up defenses?), but then go on to state "9,500 troops advanced in a wide circle on the camp". Honestly I'm done with this. Both you and the USPA are god modding. You've used missions if not billions of dollars worth of "super fast, super powerful, invisible missiles." at me yet have yet to deal with the fact that no army can sustain that much fire power for long, let alone an entire war. I really hope you can understand I'm not trying to be a bitch or ass hole about this but it's boring for me to keep writing posts about me losing men while you keep inventing was your troops and escape the slightest amount of damage. You've never written any flaws about your armies. Your satellites me anywhere I go no matter what the weather, zooming in to see the most minute details in my troops. Your missiles fly low to the ground yet never seem to hit any of the tall sky scarper. You fly waves of aircrafts at my city knowing fully that I've layed a AA grid though the entire city then say you lost a couple of men. You use your super tech in lieu of any real tactics. I'm not even joking every single one of your posts have been, 'I fire eight hundred super fast rockets so low that you won't be able to detect it. It's annoying and repetitive.
Short Version: I'm sorry to be the asshole here but I quit.))

OOC: It's call presicion bombing, and yes it can be done with Napalm, two: There was not time to build up defences. Three: I've never said my Missiles are invincible if you want to check the specs for them I can provide them. Four: AA just doesn't work effectivly against Fighters, especially not at lower levals, which one usually flys at for Ground Attack. Five: My landing zone is well away from populated areas, yet your troops 'Happen' to find it in a matter of hours?
OOC: I know I'm not a party too this but have been watching for some time. I have to agree with some of UNS's points.
AA is very effective at low levels. Everyone knows this. Especially when he has an entire AA network around his cities. You'll have to avoid large cities and trees anyway, so the chances of being engaged are pretty good, especially when you pull up to release their payloads. The attack itself is the most vulnerable part of the flight, and when the most losses occur.
Also precision bombing only works if know exactly where a target is, unless you have a spotter on the ground or exact up the minute intel on an enemy position, it'll be hard to "precision bomb" a moving force of men and APC's. Sure, you'll probably hit them, but most of this work is done with dumb bombs, not precision weapons.
Anyway, I have to go, but there are errors on both sides and UNS does have a point. I wouldn't blame him for quiting.

Oseato, i was just pointing out the fact that FLAK, not AA in general is not effective at low altitude, and UNS, fuck it im not even gonna bother with it
