Taqlid Enumar Muhrja, the leader of Kulira, exited his office, wearing a dishdasha and a turbin, popular in Islamic and the rich Kuliran culture. He walked by himself to the elevator, his oak walking stick assisting him to limp across the hall, tan paint and oak office doors surrounding him. He limped over to elevator which he had gone down so many times, and pushed the button on it marked 'L', standing for Landing, at least in Kulira. After about five minutes of standing alone in that elevator, he limped straight to the entrance of the Parliamentry Buildings, which would be serving as the exit for him today.
He opened the dark wooden doors and was instantly greated by the Foreign Minister, Almural Larja, a young Arab man who had served as a diplomat for many years in the Foreign Minister, before Enumar executed the last Foreign Minister for treason - really having an affair with one of the Taqlid's four wives - and plased Larja in power. Muhrja smiled at him, and shook his hand, before asking him; "The crowds are present?"
"Yes, sir. Follow me," Larja said calmly, guiding the Taqlid to the stand on which the copy of today's rather short speech lay, with thousands of people gathered before him, seperated only from him by barriers as he prepared to read his speech.
After having a brief cough, Muhrja began on this historical speech.
"My fellow Kulirans, I come to you today with a great message; today, a great action will be undertaken by your government which will unite all of Kulira under the banner of the Islamic Republic."
The crowds, most of them in their twenties, cheered at that. "In the year thirteen sixty two - using the Islamic calender, of course - the great Imam Muhamm Ibarai led the revolution against the cruel monarchy of that day. He united the people against the kings and queens of old and overthrew the monarchy, replacing it with the glorious Islamic Republic. However, the monarchy escaped justice and retired to the province of Eastern Ibrahia, and have kept that stolen land since."
"Today, I wish to announce that the Armed Forces of Kulira, the great and glorious force of our country, will be beginning Operation Ending Gommorah, which will end the evils taking place in that illegal state and finally reuniting our country. The evils taking place in that country, look sodomy and the executions of imams, are disgusting and today, the Armed Forces will begin its armed campaign against the illegal state of the New Kingdom of Kulira. The forces of evil will be crushed and brutally beaten by the glory of the Islamic Republic of Kulira!"

General Khaliji Ibaja looked at the map of Kulira, the New Kingdom marked in red, the Islamic Republic marked in blue. The Army's divisions had completely surrounded the territory, and he was about to give the command for all those divisions to strike. He decided that he would go through with the plan.
The divisions would strike and destroy the border forces of the New Kingdom, followed by intense Air Force carpetbombing - or, as it would officially be called, 'tactical bombings' - on every single last village, town and city in the Ajara Desert, which took up half of the New Kingdom, followed by a final army and air force push into the remaining half, which would be badly defended considering how small the defence forces of the New Kingdom were.
About thirty thousand troops had been dedicated to the attack, three divisions. The air force would mainly be using Su-24s and Su-22s for the operation, and the only reason the navy wasn't involved was because there wasn't any Islamic Republic of Kulira Navy; Kulira was completely landlocked. Now was the time to begin.
He nodded and turned to one of his advisors. "Initate Operation Ending Gomorrah."
In about half an hour, the troops began their push, backed by strong air support and artillery. The New Kingdomers didn't stand a chance.
