Tours Through Time (FT/IC/OPEN)

In 2183, the Mewsland Galaxy was mostly devoid of life. Sure, there were many Earthly planets in the galaxy, but no animal or humanoid life had formed on all the planets but one- Mews' Home, also known as Kardon. However, Mews' Home was rapidly being overflown with people. By 2185 the population was 7,879,962,456 all on a planet roughly the size of Venus. Small cities on Kardon's moon were constructed in 2186, but only reduced the population by about one million. Then, warp drive was created on Kardon. With the new superluminal technology, the Mews rapidly began colonizing other worlds, reducing the population on Kardon to a much more comfortable one billion.

In 2471, Mews began experimenting with a temporal drive that would allow them to travel through time.

However, each drive only allowed a few round trips through just a few years of time before it burnt out.

This was the limit of Mewsland's temporal drive.

Until now.

In 2550, a new drive was developed, that would allow a person to travel to any point in time, with about a one thousand round trip lifespan.

Now, on May 27, 2554 (Stardate 51762.3), the starship Timeless (MCC-3001) has just finished trial runs, and is now open for tours through time. The Timeless is currently located at Mewsland Starbase 97A, just outside the edge of the Milky Way Galaxy. The timeship has a capacity for 1,000 tourists, and a crew of 750.

Here is the broadcast that was sent out.

The Federation of Mewsland has just finished work on the greatest discovery of all time. The starship Timeless (MCC-3001) has a revolutionary temporal drive that allows travel to any point in time. The starship is located at Starbase 97 Alpha, just outside the edge of your galaxy. All of you are free to send tourists to the Timeless for tours and a trip back to the beginnings of our universe.

"They're going to bring temporal tech into the Milky Way?"

Gimonseng laughed. Well, he would've, but he was disembodied right now. Nevertheless.

Please, for your own safety. Don't bring temporal technology into the Milky Way. Most of the galaxy is proofed against it; taking it anywhere near Sol would probably ensure your civilization's destruction. The removal of temporal travel prevented civilization-ending wars here. I doubt many nations would take your re-introduction of this vile abomination kindly. Chronomancers are not the best-loved of people.

The proper term, is Chronologists. They are not vile, and evil sorcerers, but true scientists, providing deep insight into the science of time, not cheap illusionists, practicing slight of hand. The fact that you would refer to them, in such a derogatory way, shows your ignorance to the matter. However, we must agree, that what these pitiful people are doing, is unacceptable. Time is not something to thrust tourists into, no more than a jungle would be. Next, I assume, you will be allowing them to interact with the past? Maybe, let them take part in a few assassinations. "What harm could come of it?" you'll say as justification, "They would have died anyway," you'll say. Always trying to justify making a buck. We will have no part of it. If you want to take these 'tourists back to your own galaxy to experience time travel, so be it, however, in this galaxy, we must say, that such frivolous use of Chronography, will not be tolerated. You have been warned.

"Greetings. I am Lord Cody Wayne Lowery the 42nd, grand ruler of Ameriganastan. I would love to accompany you on your little trip through time. I can pay very handsomely. Simply tell me when to be there"

One personally doubts your nation was around to see the founding of the Temporal Accords, written to help prevent the deadly research into temporal technology that took place so very long ago, and the doom that was almost accorded the universe because of it. We have reason enough to revile Chronomancers as we do. A scientist observes. Watches. Records. Seeks to understand. A Chronomancer uses time itself as his plaything, twisting it to gain advantages in pitifully unimportant things, while ravaging the universe as he does so. These "tourists" are obviously not scientists. They use time itself to amuse, for the least worthy reason we have ever seen. They are Chronomancers, but only of the least dangerous type. Nevertheless, they are dangerous enough.

Mew) We are Chronologists, and we are nowhere near Sol, much less our galaxy. The Temporal Accords were written in the Milky Way Galaxy prior to the arrival of Mews into said galaxy. They won't be able to interact, they would have to remain on the Timeless or within a time shield, inside both you cannot interact.

Now, Hyperspatial Travel, tell me you are not doing this just to get back at me for wanting you to leave OUR SYSTEM, which YOU DESTROYED.

Now, Lord Lowery, there is no specific time we are departing, just when we have over one half of our tourist capacity. Proceed directly out of your system to the edge of the Galaxy, and you will find the Temporal Research Station (also known as Starbase 97A). We are transmitting an image of the Timeless now.

Communique from the Office of Intergalatic Affairs~
Please allow me to first congratulate you on your advancement in the field of temporal travel. Such technology is both wonderous and a testament to the egineering and scientific skills of the nations who posses it. However, we object to the use of the drive in a manner of 'time tourism', for fear of what any actions may do to the future. Should you continue unheeded with your plans, I will offer some friendly advice to stay away from Templarian borders, both in the Varian and in the Milky Way, during any excursions, tourist or no, especially should you chance to venture back around 200 years. We would not wish the technology to fall into the hands of the Old Empire. And I assure you, neither would you.

OOC: I'm just noting that most of the occupied Milky Way is inaccessible to time travel as is due to various anti-temporal technologies, and changing the course of history is equally unlikely. While the Fifth Realm is not necessarily going to kill anyone developing temporal technology (due to the aforementioned general uselessness as a weapon or ability to even look at our nation's history), we're certainly one of the less extreme anti-temporal powers out there.

this is the NERV board of inter-dimensional and time travel

DO NOT BRING YOUR TIME VESSELS ANYWHERE NEAR THE MILKY WAY GALAXY OR THE POSEIDON GALAXY
if you do we will have to delete the technology via temporal deletion.
this is a cease and desist order.

While it may be old, it has been around for a long time and can be used as a reference if needed. Please note the nations who signed the TA are found in many galaxies, not just the Milky Way. I included this because it was mentioned earlier.

Now how would you delete something that has temporal shields through temporal deletion, unless you did the thing you are trying to stop, which is travel through time? You would have to delete yourself.

Now, Timeless and base 97 are located about one thousand light years from the edge of the Milky Way, outside of its border. You would have no justification for this ultimatum if you attacked outside the Galaxy.

And no, we will not approach Templarian borders.

we agree t these terms, time travel is dangerous at best, it would be an act of piracy to board your ship in international space
