Jennings & Rall Armed Forces

The nations of Jennings & Rall supports a technologically advanced, professionally trained military force of nearly 1.52 million active duty personnel. Military doctrine of Jennings & Rall relies on maintaining a highly trained fighting force augmented with state of the art technology and abides by military doctrine that reflects both 'Shock and Awe' tactics as well those found in Sun Tzu's "Art of War" in order to deter enemies and carry out offensive operations. Currently, the military is focused on the defense of the nation and counterterrorism operations.

Jennings & Rall Marine Corps

The Marine Corps comprises nearly 416,000 personnel that act as the spear of J&R's military. Marines are trained in a number of amphibious warfare tactics, along with learning how to fight conventional militaries in land based combat as the Army would. The force-wide system know as the Combat Data Information System (CDIS) has nearly eliminated blue-on-blue incidents, and provides all military units up to date information regarding the battlefield.

The Army of currently maintains nearly 743,000 personnel that operates both as a offensive and defensive force, while taking on responsibilities such as disaster relief, counterterrorism, and other homeland operations. One of the most technologically advanced branches of the Jennings & Rall armed forces, the Air Force comprises nearly 368,000 personnel. The Air Force employs some of the most advanced fighters from across the world, as well as helicopters, cargo aircraft, and other airborne craft. The Air Force operates the majority of J&R's missile defense, as well as cyberwarfare.

The Naval arm of the J&R military is a highly robust service that numbers just over 402,000 personnel that provide the nation with a flexible means of offense and defense by seaborne threats. The Navy is equipped with some of the most advanced technologies in the military, and serve as a unifying branch that nearly all other services rely on.

Similar to the Coast Guard of most nations, Coastal Defense provides the waters of Jennings & Rall with search and rescue, counterterrorism, antipiracy, and security capabilities. Coastal Defense operates smaller vessels than that of the Navy, such as cutters, patrol vessels, and frigates. Nearly 101,000 personnel serve in Coastal Defense, however, is not considered an active duty service.
