Commadore's Personnel Log
Having returned from Mew Space the Valiant and her task group is sweeping systems along the Plantery Republic/TC border for a Forward Operating Postion. We have A Starbase One Class Starbase ready to be towed should we locate a postion.

The Valiant and her task Force dropped out of warp on the Edge of the Fourth system they were checking. This one looked hopeful as it had a nebula that could provide sensor Cover. They approached the Inner Planets.

OOC: This thread is set a few weeks after the visit to your space

OOC: Oh, okay. Disregard.

IC: Back in Mewsland space, Mew was wondering how the new ship was working for the Battlehawk.

Mew) Voyager to Ode to Joy, how is the ship working?

OOC: Is Elizabeth still in Command of the Ode?

OOC: Yes.

"Commadore Langley here Mr President" Elizabeth smiled from the Bridge of the Ode "Everythings working fine, we're going with the Valiant to set up a Foward Operating postion"

Mew) I sure hope Alensia isn't too pushy. I never liked her. That's why I had Kaia put on Voyager during the refit.

"She's doing just fine Mr President" Elizabeth smiled "We've had words"

All of a sudden, a huge screech ran through both ships on the speakers.

Mew) What the heck was that? Kaia, report.

No response.

Mew) Kaia?

All of a sudden, Mew whirled around, only to see that Alensia has replaced Kaia on the bridge.

Mew) Alensia? What the heck? Commodore, I'll be back shortly. Once again, Alensia wants to get her revenge on Kaia for replacing her.

Elizabeth smiled as the Ode, the Valiant and her task group began scans of the area they planned to put their Forward Base

Mew) Commodore, you're going to have to go to manual, as you can probably tell, you have no AI system right now. Alensia seems to have used our comm link to transfer herself to Voyager without releasing Kaia to you guys.

"We'll manage Mr President" Elizabeth promised

Mew) I know you will, but the problem is on Voyager. Alensia has completely stopped Kaia from doing anything-

Computer) Warning. Self-destruct has been initiated. Fifteen minutes to self-destruct.

Mew) What the heck? Commodore, I'll get back to you. Alensia is causing problems.

"Helm at Maxiumum Warp can we reach the Voyager in 15 minutes?" Elizabeth asked the Mewsland helm officer

Helm) We can be there in five at warp 9.99975, but it would put massive strain on the hull. Just like Voyager, we're only rated for 9.99762.

"Set a course, Warp 9.99975" Elizabeth ordered sitting back int he COmmand chair "Engage"

Helm) 9.99975, aye.

Ode to Joy immediately rocketed into Warp Space.

Helm) The experimental warp drive must be working. We're already at warp 9.999.

"Stand by Transporters to beam the crew of Voyager in case they can't get control back" Elizabeth ordered

Transporter room) Transporter 5 to Commodore Langley, we would need all six transporters working constantly, and even then I doubt we could get more than 750 in ten minutes. The crew complement of a AI-enhanced Voyager-class is at least 1,250.

"Do what you can, I'll lead the shuttles over to get some more off" Elizabeth siad standing

OOC: I'll be back on shortly

(OOC) Okay

(IC) Shuttlebays and Transporters) Aye.

"XO you have the bridge' Elizabeth said heading to the shuttle bay

Voyager was in a hurry, the whole crew trying to find a way to deactivate Alensia, restart Kaia, and stop the destruct.

Engineers) Let's try and get into the AI computer room...

-Shut down the warp core.

-Prepare escape pods just in case.

Computer) Ten minutes to self-destruct.

Suddenly, the Ode to Joy dropped out of warp near the Voyager.

Ode Helm) Bridge to Commodore Langley, we have arrived at the Voyager's co-ordinates.

"Good, open a channel" Elizabeth ordered.
"Open" Tactical reported.
"Mr President, The Ode stands by to beam non-essential crew off Voyager" Elizabeth said

Mew) Energize. Commodore, I have a plan, but it's mighty risky. Remember the pirate attack just after you entered Mewsland Space? The one that knocked out Voyager's AI relays? Knock those out again. Do be warned, Alensia will likely open fire on the Ode once you start firing. She doesn't take well to attackers. Once the relays are out, we can delete Alensia's program, and restore Kaia's control. We're down to eight minutes, sixteen seconds on the destruct sequence. I don't need to tell you to watch your back, now, do I? Tactical, see if you can launch a torpedo at the AI relays.

Tactical) Just one sir, that's all we have left that Alensia has activated.

Mew) Fire.

Tactical) Why are you going to fire on your own ship?

Mew) That's an order.

Tactical) But sir-

Mew) Just do it!

Voyager fired a torpedo, hitting the edge of the AI relays before smashing into the hull, catching Alensia's attention.

Mew) Voyager to Ode, fire at will!

"Tactical, fire at will" Elizabeth ordered grimly

Mew) It's working! Alensia is losing control!

Suddenly, Voyager unleashed a barrage of torpedoes and phaser fire straight for the Ode.

Mew) Alensia! Do you realize what you're doing? You are going to destroy this ship and the Ode with it! You never liked to kill anyone? Well, you're about to kill 2,500 people!

Computer) Seven minutes to self-destruct.

"Damage report!" Elizabeth requested as she held onto her seat

Tactical) Shields at 67%, minor hull fractures on decks 18, 36, and 49!

"Run a Electron surge through the main Deflector" Elizabeth ordered "Target the Voyager, this should blow out all their electronics, includeing the self destruct"

Mew) Voyager to Ode, get ready for another barrage. Alensia really doesn't like you shooting at us. However, we nearly have it, just another couple of torpedoes should knock out the AI relays.

Tactical) We run the risk of frying Voyager's life support, too, Commodore.

BANG!

Tactical) Another barrage, sir! Shields down to 34%, hull breach on decks 31-35!

"It's a risk we'll have to take, all transporter bays standby, order sickbay to prepare for multiple cases of Oxygen depravation" Elizabeth instructed

Tactical) If you say so.

Ode to Joy fired an electron surge to Voyager, frying everything but life support and engines.

Mew) Engineering! What's left?

Engineer) Just the batteries! I can have auxiliary power in a few minutes!

Mew) Get Kaia back! Can you give me communications?

Engineer) A few minutes, sir.

Mew) Voyager to Ode, you did the job a little too well. You fried the whole computer system, which means we're basically dead in the water.

"We'll give you a tow to the nearest Starbase, do you have life support?" Elizabeth asked

Mew) We are transmitting current status, and yes, we do have life support.

Mew) Computer, transmit damage reports to the Ode.

Mew) Transmit it to the Ode.

"At least their in one peice" Elizabeth commented as she sagged back in her seat "Lock on Tractor Beam, prepare for warp tow"

Ode Comms) Receiving a damage readout. Their sensors, weapons, computers, and warp drives are out. Main power is offline. Hull breaches on deck 7 sections 21-28, decks 13 14 and 15 sections 4-10, deck 29 sections 5 6 and 7, decks 31-35 sections 16-23, deck 49 sections 18 19 and 20, and deck 62, sections 8-12.

Operations) Unable to tow at warp, sir. Voyager would need to engage warp drive at the same time as us. Since their warp drive is out, we're stuck at subluminal velocity.

Communications) Voyager reports that repairs on the warp drive will take three weeks.

"How long would it take us to get to nearest starbase at Sublight speeds?"

Science) At subluminal velocity, it would take six years to reach Starbase 76. That is if we could maintain .5 of luminal for that long.

"We'll have to cover them for that long" Elizabeth said

Mew) Voyager to Ode, we have a problem.

Ode Tactical) I am reading five- no, fifteen pirate ships closing on our position.

Navigator) My gosh!

"Red Alert, hands to battlestations" Elizabeth ordered "Recharge Phasers and load Torpedos"

Mew) Son of a gun! Voyager to Ode, this is not good. Voyager only has impulse drive and minimal shields, no weapons whatsoever. What in the name of heck are we supposed to do?

"Do not worry Mr President, we'll cover you" Elizabeth said as the Bridge was bathed in red glow.

Mew) Do you want me to transmit a distress call? We could have about 100 ships here within about fifteen minutes if I do.

"If you wish Mr President, I'm about to get very busy" Elizabeth said as the Pirates approached weapons range "Helm, attack pattern Bravo"

Mew) Kaia, transmit a distress call on all Mewsland frequencies.

Kaia) Aye, sir,

The transmission said:
This is the starship Voyager (MCC-1701). We are currently disabled and being protected by the Ode to Joy(MCC-2846). Fifteen pirate ships have converged on our position, undoubtedly to try and destroy us. Please send ships to defend us from the pirates. Voyager out.

Voyager swung around, heading straight for the lead pirate vessel.

Meanwhile, on the Ode to Joy)

Science) (a little shaky) Sir? Voyager has just swung around. It's on a collision course with the lead pirate vessel.

"HE wouldn't!" Elizabeth exclaimed watching this

Mew) Yes, I would. We shouldn't be destroyed, but it's pretty much all we can do. Be prepared to receive some injured from our vessel.

Elizabeth turned to one of the officers "Tell sickbay to stand by"

Science) Voyager will impact the vessel in five... four... three... two... one...

BANG! Voyager slammed right into the vessel's saucer load point, tearing the saucer off, but also damaging Voyager's first three sections in the process.

Mew) ALL ENGINES FULL REVERSE!

"Lock on Tractor beam, pull them off!" Elizabeth ordered frantcly

All of a sudden, one hundred ships came out of warp and immediately engaged the pirates.

Mew) Voyager to all ships, fire at will!

But then 5 Borg hyper cubes dropped out of transwarp, opening fire on all ships at the scene. Their modulators worked overtime, but their shield integrity was holding at 85%.

Next target, voyager...

OOC) Did you know that this thread is CLOSED?

After the pirate ships were destroyed, a miracle occurred.

Ode Comms) Sir, Voyager reports that warp drive has mysteriously repaired itself. She is now capable of accelerating to luminal speed, which will reduce travel time to three years. At this rate, it will take no more than three days for Voyager to be restored to full superluminal capacity.

"Good, does the President intend on setting out or are we waiting here?"

Mew) We need to get to Starbase 76, and keep moving before even more pirate ships get a fix. Prepare for luminal acceleration.

"Understood" Elizabeth siad "Lets follow them"

Engineer) Engineering to Mew: Full superluminal capability has been restored, though I wouldn't recommend anything over Level 600 due to the damage to the hull.

Mew) Understood. Hail the Ode, tell them we'll be accelerating to Level 600.
