A hot sunny tropical day on Carnelian Island with excitment buzzing about a foreign dignitary visit. A queen no doubt, the only other monarch to set foot on Carnelian soil since Shino Villa of AHSCA. No doubt another good friendship would be born out of this. Xiu-tai Li was preparing for her meeting by washing up. She spent most of the morning with the farmers on the island helping plant and pull crops. A woman of her people she already was. "Xiu," Her partner entered. "You better get ready, they'll be here soon."

"Right of course." She emerged from the tub and dressed into a light blouse and miniskirt.

At the port several greeters welcomed the Queen. "Our Lady is expecting you, and is anxious to meet you."

In the absence of the Queen of Kageb from the palace - indeed, from her beloved homeland itself - it had been under some discussion as to how the Queendom would manage its affairs. As the Queen made sure that everything was in check, the Baron Soryana was standing at the door to her room. He was the man usually seen beside her father and was a close friend to the late King before he left the world, leaving Espar and Ravana under the eyes of their widowed mother - who herself left the world not long afterward. It was the Baron who gave her some best wishes and who made sure that Kageb would be prepared for the visit by the Carnelians. As the Queen boarded her private boat with her Alversian secretary probably trailing from behind, the Baron Soryana watched. He had known Ravana since she was the young princess who would sit around and listen to her father's political dealings. The boat soon sets sail under the cover of sunlight, and the Queen takes a seat in a chair and watches the calm ocean. If only her own life could be just as calm.

It did not take too long to reach Carnelian Island nor did it take too long to recieve the expected welcome from its inhabitants. As the Queen walked off the boat, followed by the armed Royal Guardsmen, she smiled. It was nice to be in Carnelian Island - the weather and people seemed nice enough. "Oh, it is a pleasure to be here," the Queen began. "I am anxious to meet Your Lady myself - I can only hope that we can be good friends."

The queen was shown right away to Xiu-tai.

"Welcome, my fair queen. Welcome to Carnelian Island. I hope your voyage was pleasant?"

The Queen had smiled upon Xiu-tai with the look of a woman glad to have been visiting the island - giving her a pleasant response by saying that yes, her voyage had been pleasant and that, yes, she was glad to be opening relations with the island, knowing that her ministers could be trusted to efficiently govern the realm, to make sure its people were safe from harm while they listened to their K-Metal tracks and played games in the park.

"It is a pleasure to be here on the island, Xiu-tai, and I look forward to officially opening relations with your nation."

"I'm so glad. We Carnelians know the sea has a mighty temper. I know I've sailed this entire region. Please sit." She held a wicker chair for the Queen to sit on.

"I can't say I know what you are accustomed to back in your homeland, I'm sure Carnelian Island is quite different. We've chosen to live a life off the grid, which is why I feel we will be a unique partner in our relationship."
