A relatively uneventful place. Like most post-Soviet states, it suffers from a damaged economy brought by the quick transition from a planned economy to an open economy. It does, however, contain one of the most advanced space facilities in the continent, which is regularly rented out to surrounding countries.

In the spring of 2015 an uprising began against the government, resulting in several bombings nationwide. The government quickly reacted by beginning counterinsurgency ops against the militants, but they've had limited success in the long run. To assist them, several countries intervened as a peacekeeping force while regular Adjikstani soldiers continued to fight the rebels.

The Adjikstani National Army, or ANA consists of 3 branches. While conscription was deemed unconstitutional by the government in the mid 90's, it still exists in the form of reserve training. it's total personnel numbers about 250,000.

The average grunt is issued an AK-74 assault rifle with 7 magazines. He is issued the RD-54 webbing system, while simple is extremely cost effective and efficient. His uniform is based on the East German 'raindrop' pattern, due to it's effectiveness in the mountains, however there are plans to replace it with a new, digitalized pattern in the future.
