a dristess call emanated form a backwater system. The signal was primative, and enclosed were the ships location as well as an attached audio message.

The message is in galactic basic, the voice sounds desperate and rushed, "This is the Millennium class colony ship Star-Climber, we're under attack, i dont know whats going on, we've been boarded... they're everywhere, we dont have anything to fight with please sombody out there..-" The message cuts out to a metalic screech and a cry.


The navigation data showed an asteroid ridden system, a planet close to the sun, basking in its blue light, its surface glowing gerd on the sun side, the dark side cooling just to become molten again, it appeared as though the two of the systems planets in its green belt had collided, the cluster of large asteroids circling the systems A class star. Then there was a frozen ball roughly the size of jupiter, orbiting far out, it had no atmosphere, floating though space. The telemetry put the colony ships current position in a high solar orbit, trailing behind the systems second planet, though its condition was unknown.


(No destroying the ship. I only want two or three people, and there wont be any need for big fleets of doom. That said, game on, more to come as we progress.)

UHS Sentinel, Enterprise class, dropped out of warp on the edge of the system. On a Longrange exploration mission before the outbreak of the Valiant wars, they had not heard of the wars or contacted home in months.
They had picked up the Distress call and were attempting to answer

The Consular-class exploration vessel picked up the call and proceeded to the area. The crew were on full battlestations, the ships turbolasers were ready.

UHS Sentinel

"Sir, another ship is entering the system, weapons charged" Tactical officer Ford reported.
"Open hailing frequencies" Captain Danel Dale ordered.
"Open sir"
"Unidentified ship, this is the UHS Sentinel, we are responding to a distress call in this system, please state your intentions in this system" Daniel requested Politely

"This is the exploration ship Corellian Star, of the Unified Galactic Republic. We are responding to the distress call as well."

On the bridge, Captain Deleon looked at the monitor. "Battlehawk alright. Maintain battle stations but stand down the alert." "Yessir."

"Recommend we work together to locate the ships in distress, there is no point us both searching the same area" Daniel suggested

"I agree. Suggest we both start our search from the point of origin of the signal."

"Agreed, we've got a confirmed steller fix on the PofO" Daniel replied sending the Co-ordinates across

"Roger that. We're deploying a scout to search the surrounding areas."

Out of the ship's small hangar came a Scarab droid scout. It fired up it's engines and went to search the periphery of the system while the Corellian Star continued on.

The Sentinel headed towards the Point of Origin and began to search

The Corellian Star followed, the ship's impressive scanners began to search for lifesigns, while the gunnery crews remained in their stations.

"Any sign?" Daniel asked Ford.
"Nothing yet sir" Ford Replied

The colony ship was nowhere to be found, not showing up anywhere in the system. after a time, and without warning, a wormhole opened near the Battlehawk vessel, a long ship slipepd out, on a direct collision course with the battlehawk vessel.

The ship was roughly 1.5km long and was battered with age, corrosion having claimed much of the ships outer hull. It drifte dalong at a good clip, its engines silent, along with much of its power, a few scorch marks on the hull sparked with shorted circutry.

There was a bright blue flash that normally blinded everything from computers to weapons for a fraction of a second, but not affecting anything in particular. The flash disappeared as quick as it appear and in its place was an Acerian Attention Class Battlecrusier called the Avenger, that was hunting pirates when it received a distress call. The cruiser was on full alert, with the bridge noticing three ships nearby, messages were sent out to each one of them demanding who they were.

The ship was silent drifting on a head long rush towordsthe battlehawk ship.

"General Quarters, General Quarters" daniel called as the ship approached "Helm evasive action now, get us out of here, lock on tractor beam to that ship, lock phasers!"
The Sentinel just evaded the incoming ship and caught on with a tractor beam.

The ship began to slow, its course shifting slightly as the tractor beam locked it, making it slowly start to spin. It was obviously under no power. Its running lights were barely flickering with power.

"Prepare boarding teams, full security detail"

The ship drifted lazily though space, light catching its hull, showing the name Star-Climber. its docking ports were mangled and appeared to be fused shut, the hangar bay at the bow was open a crack, hinting at a lack of atmosphere inside the ship.

"Lock low power phasers on the hanger bay door, cut us an entrence" Daniel ordered

The forward hangar was easily cut open. The gaping empty hangar could be seen in the ambient light, it appeared to be bare, save for odd colored markings on the walls, which were a dark brown in color, a few similarly colored spheres drifted slowly out as the amputated bay doors drifted away.
