Nachmere Mobilizes!
Emmet Issac
A full scale mobilization has taken place in Nachmere over the last 24 hours, according to MOD officials. While these officials refuse to comment on the cause of the mobilization, rumors of a harsh battle with ODECON forces at sea circulated in Nachmere-City yesterday.
In addition, a very large force from Anghele has arrived to Nachmere yesterday, and is rumored to have been put under Nachmere Armed Forces command. The arrival of the Anghele forces cause some discomfort among human rights activists as well as as international relations experts. This discomfort relates to the past trouble caused by the so called love affair between Nachmere's ruling party and the totalitarian powerhouse.
Officials revealed that the entire 5 million strong standing army, as well as 15 million reservists, have been put on full alert. Reserve units are training for defensive scenarios. The Republican Militia, numbering almost 25 million, has also been called for a week of more intense training and members have been told further training may be required.

Fleet steadying itself from massive loss of life!
Preliminary reports state that 3 destroyers were lost in the Seas off Parilisa in a military action against the nation of Nachmere. Despite the loss of nearly Three Hundred Fifty sailors. However, despite this, the Sutfen Admiralty has not released any plans for a follow-up attack or punitive action against the Nation of Nachmere.
Sutfen across the Nation in Uproar!
Citizens across the nation are in an uproar against the Nation of Nachmere. To the point of protesting outside the Gate of the Capital Manor. While Military law has not be called up, Vice President Leeds has released a statement that as of now no military action will be brought forward against Nachmere. Many believe this is because Sutufinai does not have the military to move forward on any military plans.
Vice President Leeds, in President Zanzibar's absence, has used the Military and "loyalist" Militia units to lock down the National Border, as well as the remaining Military Naval units to lock down Sutufinai ports in an effort to stop Civilian militias or Q-ships from, quote, "Doing something they may regret, or something that may jeopardize National Security."

Yesterday a large scale battle at sea took place between several states. Insider sources at the Grey Bureaucracy have revealed to The Orange that several states friendly or allied to Sarrowquand were involved. Whilst the government will reveal no information The Orange has managed to obtain exclusive evidence that suggests that the CIS and ODECON nations may soon be drawn into a sprawling conflict. No Dominion naval vessels were in the area.
The consequences for Sarrowquand could be dire indeed as it is forced to choose sides between 1st Speaker Silinky’s former and current allies. The spokesperson for the First Speaker refused to comment on the situation.

Dear, sir , Madam
The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde has 2 vessels, Coastguard ship Hr.Ms Waker (http://www.ipms.nl/pim/05240-Waker.jpg) and Hr.Ms van Speijk (http://www.marineschepen.nl/nieuws/images/speijk.jpg) which is a Naval Frigate, in the same region on sea where this conflict occured.
The Hr.Ms waker (http://www.ipms.nl/pim/05240-Waker.jpg) did even resque the crew of the PNS Speerspitze from Parilisa and towed the wreckage to the parilisa Main port.
And now several navies will come to the region as well, the Noordeinde Coastguard and Navy will join joint forces as peacekeepers in the region.

General Message from Central Command of The Armed Republic of The Wolf Hold
Whilst we thank The Federation of Oseato and The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde for the offer of peacekeepers, the conflict took place in Parilisan waters so peacekeeping would be tact-less, also neither state involved has declared war, so there is no peace to keep.

From:the Office of the Prime Minister, The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde
Dear Sir, Madam,
Their is clearly a conflict going on, indeed in Parilisa waters. Where both of my nations ships operate.
As I sad before one of my vessels, the Hr. Ms Waker (http://img233.imageshack.us/img233/326/waker7522124140505bdx5.jpg) of the Noordeinde coastguard, even searched and rescued the crew of the PNS Speerspitze. And marines of the same ship, of the Noordeinde Coastguard, captured the pirates of the sea crow.
Therefor, and because of the fact that i already have 2 naval vessels at the sight of this conflict they will try to keep the peace and stay Neutral.
And because the coastguard is also involved, and Noordeinde stays neutral, we can and will pick-up, search and rescue the people out of sea of who's ships has been sunk.
Sincerrely Yours,
Jonathan Roosevelt.

The Grand Duchy of Noordeinde.

From: ODECON Office of Foreign Affairs
Nachmere naval assets were in Parilisan territorial waters and acted in a perceived aggressive manner. As such, Parilisa and ODECON naval assets nearby were prompted to defend against unauthorized launches from carriers. They were duly warned to withdraw from the area prior to any attack upon them and ignored all such warnings.
While Nachmere has in this conflict been an aggressor, ODECON has neither plans nor desire to turn a defensive action into an offensive war. There will be no alliance-sanctioned invasions of any nation involved, and all uninvolved parties will be ignored for so long as they are such.
We thank all third parties for their patience and civility thus far in this conflict, and pray that it continues until the cessation of current hostilities. We are in contact with the Wolf Hold in hope of seeing peace. I will reiterate that we do not wish for war.
For the sake of safety, I also ask that all parties remain clear of the threatened region.

An open press announcement:
The Armed Republic of Nachmere | Office of the President
The 3rd Carrier Battle Group was heavily damaged by ODECON forces. The group was indeed, as some have claimed, in Parilisan territorial waters. The reason for this intrusion was a Wolf Hold Submarine, which was lost in those waters.
The 3rd CBG made clear of it's intetions, to only help our allied submarine. This was met by ODECON forces with anti-aircraft missiles. The 3rd CBG is still attempting to leave the battle zone, having sustained heavy losses in life and vessels.
Ray Ginger, President of The Armed Republic of Nachmere.
On Behalf of the people of Nachmere.

To All Who May Be Concerned:
The sheer number of falsities and half-truths broadcasting about the world at this moment shocks me no end. I have, to this end, realised that it will be necessary to release a statement directly from my office in order to clear up any misunderstandings that have arisen.
From records from the Admiral in charge of the Battlegroup Timaeus, from the captains of the ships surviving from the conflict, and from records from the ships survey systems and electronic warfare logs, I wish to make it completely clear that Nachmere was, in fact, the aggressor in this situation.
At the initiation of the conflict, Adenian ships received a communication from the RNS Anghele, claiming to be searching for a Wolf Hold submarine. This ship had unlawfully entered sovereign Parilisan waters, which, may I remind readers, is tantamount to a declaration of war. The vessel and it's companion task force were instructed to leave Parilisan waters immediately. This was responded to with armed aircraft (fighter aircraft and anti-submarine warfare helicopters) being launched. At this point, the safety of both Adenian and Parilisan vessels in the area was deemed to be compromised, and with careful consideration the decision was made to ensure the safety of Adenian and Parilisan vessels by removing the airborne threats.
The Nachmerian vessels responded to this with anti-shipping missiles fired at Adenian vessels, causing considerable loss of life. Actions from there are considered ODECON-wide, and will undoubtedly be released by my counterpart there.
I feel that I must clarify that the fact that my vessels fired the first shot does not make them the aggressor - Nachmerian vessels were actively ignoring requests whilst in another nation's territorial waters, which, as I'm sure all will know is a disturbingly arrogant breach of international etiquette which, had the initial - and not unreasonable - requests been followed, could have avoided an extensive and bloody conflict. The administration in Nachmere has every reason to be ashamed of this unnecessary loss of life caused by their arrogance and disdain for common manners, decency, and civility.
With Regards,
Lord Admiral Reginald B. Stoutworth

Ginger Admits a Catastrophe
Emmet Issac
At a press conference held yesterday, President Ginger admitted that the 3rd CBG suffered a “Catastrophic” defeat to ODECON forces. The President as also asked about Nachmere’s involvement with Anghele, but refused to comment
At a press conference held at the Presidential Complex, President Ray Ginger faced a hostile room. The first questions were related to the naval battle that took place in Parilisan territorial waters. After several attempts by Ginger to avoid the subject, he said:
“The 3rd CBG was engaged by outnumbering ODECON forces, and suffered catastrophic casualties. The “Anghele”, flag ship of the 3rd CBG, was hit and the entire group is now attempting to return home. The 6th CBG has been dispatched to meet and escort the “Anghele” and her escorts.”
Ginger refused to comment on the exact number of casualties. He did say that casualties are “in the thousands”.
Ginger was than bombarded with questions regarding to his administration’s relations with Anghele. He refused to comment on the subject or even explain why Nachmere needs the help of Anghele to protect itself, while defense spending has been on the rise in the last 5 years.
The opposition parties in Parliament were having a field day at gingers expense. Ron Derken, MP for the small “Fascist Nachmerians” party said:
“We can now see how well Gingers policy of liberalism is working. We are not friends of any large totalitarian force, and now we are the enemies of these so called Democracies. To top it all Nachmere has no Navy to speak of, as a 3rd of it has been lost in the recent battle.”
Sarah Dawn, MP for the “New Left” party attacked the President as well, from a different stand point. She said:
“Ginger is leading our country to military conflict with reasonable nations while being friendly with police-states. We might as well have the fascists in power; at least they are more competent.”
Even the conservative “3rd Path” party, currently in the coalition with the Presidents Social-Democrats, launched an attack at Ginger. A very high ranked party official, who wished to remain unnamed, said:
“We will have to reconsider our coalition with the Social-Democrats. They seem to have no idea of foreign relations at all. We were not consulted with regarding the launch of 3rd CBG into foreign waters, nor were we asked before the President allowd a large Anghele military forces to land in Nachmere.
