The Fragility of a Queen's Heart (Diplomacy, Open)
Ravana Charka had it all within her soft - tender - hands. As the Queen of Kageb and with the millions of subjects bowing towards her palace in the capital, Ravana Charka really should be one happy woman. But it was her inclinations - the private movements of the heart – which were the root of her on-and-off depression which had concerned her parents ever since she was the teenage princess that the men – sons of nobles – had clamoured over back those many years back. For she was a lesbian and couldn't tell her parents that she – who’d be saying that she ought to have children for the sake of the House of Charka - was into women rather then men. There were those days in which she'd secretly ogle the daughters of the noblemen and even a maid here and there - oh, how she was tormented by the bittersweet truth! She knew that every single monarch was expected to bear at least one child but how could you bear children with another woman? Well, you could if you went down the street, but there would always be those who would call her a disgrace to the nation and demand her immediate abdication. She hadn't been, though, like her older brother who gave up the throne so that he could run off with a Kagebi Jewish (the descendants of travelers who had settled on the islands annexed by the Kings of Kageb) supermodel, thus invalidating his claim to the throne and creating the half-Royal lineage which tormented his father significantly until he came to accept it, after calling his son a ruthless monster for his work among the fairer sex. Prince Espar could be found in a country mansion with his Esther Kaufman, the supermodel who he had married and for whom he had given up political authority - love conquered whatever desire for power there had been in him. Ravana didn't feel that Espar and Esther's relationship was improper and horrid as some had said, she was happy for them. Those who are torn by the feelings of the heart do find solidarity with others of the kind. Espar had been asked, as it was, to abandon his intense love of Esther but he rejected the offers of his family and told them that it is either King Espar and Queen Esther or Queen Ravana - and, well, Ravana soon saw a bunch of noblemen shouting patriotic slogans during her coronation. She never expected to be Queen and now she was nervous. They'll soon demand it. They'll soon want me to do it. Bear a child, continue the First King's glorious dynasty!
As Ravana walked down the massive gardens that blossomed like some lavish maze in front of the doors of the palace - remembering that she was now the Queen of Kageb - she noticed the limosuine of the Baron Soryana pulling up to the palace's front - he was the Foreign Minister after all. He was dressed in a proper nobleman's attire (a very expensive suit) and was smiling at the Queen when they laid eyes upon each other - he did not know of her orientation but referred to her as a good friend - nothing more, nothing less. "It is a pleasure to meet our late King's handsome daughter....." the Baron said with the usual bowing he had done so many times prior before raising his head to smile again. He was always smiling. "I hope that the Queen will be as wise as her father had been.”
The Queen nodded her head and uttered something under her breath before walking with the Baron back into the halls of the palace - the massive portrait of the first King of Kageb hanging on the walls like it always had, reminding visitors that this was the homestead of the descendants of the King - the Founder of Kageb - He with the Great Sword and the Banner of Independence - his image hung everywhere in the land and he had earned it through the shedding of blood, wading in the blood of his enemies, writing Kageb's freedom in blood - it had a sort of iconic status in this particular nation. Ravana knew him well from her tutor's constant lectures and the enthusiastic rantings of how the First King had done so much before they laid him to rest in the mausoleum. The King's honor was never under question. They went towards the Queen's personal study where - without anyone knowing it - she had once made love to an Alversian harlot whose services she was secretly relying upon for personal comfort. No one ever really noticed the woman called Scarlet walking in and out of the palace and no one dared to inquire into such things if they had even the faintest theory about it. This was what the Queen had feared. If anyone dared to spread the knowledge that the Queen - of all people! - was fooling around with a common slut-for-hire then the people may protest and demand answers - and what could she tell them? How could she justify finding comfort in a common prostitute and why did she feel little feelings of attachment that went beyond the usual process? Was there something more to Scarlet after all other than her amazing looks and very pleasurable talents?
"Your father hoped that you would bring Kageb further into the outside world, and it is my hope that you will do that for his sake - I am sure he told you of his final wishes for you, didn't he, when he was on the door of death." The Baron said while a maid brought him a cup of the finest tea. While she withdrew from them, the Queen smirked. "I am quite confident that I will make him proud in the way you’re imagining the concept.”
If the King had been looking down upon his child from Heaven, wouldn’t he love to see her making the nation stronger and sufficient – the goal of any monarch passing down an entire nation to his child? For the King had said it before he died, that he wished Ravana would only do what was best for the nation, and that the elderly Queen Consort he had loved would help her out before she herself died - and she was still giving her advice from her castle - whilst dealing with a pestersome cough some had feared would translate into a serious illness.
The Baron snickered just a little before sipping his tea and then brought up his suitcase in which had been several papers pertaining to the planned reshuffling of the government and the opening of diplomatic relations – all which the Queen had asked for when she had been crowned just two weeks beforehand. For the Queen had hoped for a reformation-within-the-Court with the intention of simply making things more efficient for the sake of the average citizen. That's what Ravana pledged to do around the time of her coronation. Efficiency had to be cemented in places where it had been lacking.
“From what I have observed,” the Baron began, “we will have myself as the Minister of Foreign Affairs along with Viscount Kaurov as the Minister of Defence…..well, then, it seems you wish to essentially retain us veterans. Are you scared that you wouldn’t be able to rule well without us?”
The Queen sultrily looked upon the baron. “Oh, Baron, don’t think I’d be unable to reign well without you at my side – I'll need plenty of experienced men and women to help make this nation prosperous just like my father had wanted. Sometimes the monarch must rely on his or her ministers."
Baron Soryana laughed before rising from his seat with the finishing of his cup of tea - his calmness of mind and stoic posture could both be seen as he headed towards the door - only stopping for a moment to turn his head and wish the Queen well on her reign. It was a few days later that the citizens of the major cities and the small country farms heard the news of the Queen's ambitious program and how it was to be conducted. Some citizens were quite happy to think about foreign tourists bringing them plenty of hard cash to fuel the tourism industry while there were nobles who wanted to make friends among the nobilities of the world and increase communication - solidarity among the wealthy landowners of the world being a particularly appealing ideology to believe in. It became the topic of discussion in the salons of the noblewomen and the academies of the Armed Forces - prospective second lieutenants and officers discussing the pros and cons - the supposed ones - of Her Majesty's venture into the outside world. Even the republicans who wanted to abolish the centuries old monarchist movement supported the Queen's plan.
The Queen wasn't really concerned with the possibility that everything may end up failing and that the nation of Kageb would end up having problems making friends in the world - rather she had been concerned with the affairs of the heart and how her secrets may one day be revealed to the world. The idea that there was a lesbian on the throne was never going to ring well with the traditionalist nobility and the commoners who rallied around the Crown as the symbol of their patriotism – the great and glorious icon of everything that their nation stood for over the past centuries. As she took a cup of orange juice from a maid who withdrew quickly with the usual bow-and-bidding, Queen Ravana of Kageb sighed. What would the world bring to Kageb? What would Kageb bring to them?

“Left, then right, then left again.”
The Alversian wandering through the streets in the shadow of the Royal Palace, trying to remember where the old Maid’s entrance was in the side wall of the old Building. She wandered through the crowd, past the various shops, stalls and various other items that were expected around the heart of a governmental centre, the key of administration and of royalty. It was the later that most interested her, the Royalty, the Queen. Queen Ravanna. She gave a small sigh as she snapped back to that night, when she had first met her and what had followed on that one night. The woman, sliding past innumerable ignorant citizens and dodging past the market stalls, their owners squawking or calling in protest after the redhead. She stopped for a moment, taking a small bottle of water from a pocket in her jacket.
This Jacket was not conventional by any means and, if the Citizens of the city had stopped to take a second look, the more conservative amongst them would have been more than a little shocked at her appearance. The Alversian female was just under six feet in height, with nicely toned body with curves in all the right places. She was not overtly thin but neither was she heavy. One might dare to call her form a perfect specimen of the female body. She would have blushed at that but she would not have complained. Her jacket did not stretch below her chest. Her nicely sized breasts were covered but her flat, taunt belly was visible to all, tanned lightly thanks to constant exposure to the sun. Her tight rear was encased in dark blue denim jeans, though these too, where cut just below the hips so that her long, smooth, luscious teenage legs were exposed right down to her high heeled shoes, which clicked with each short step forward. With every click forward, her rear swung in her ‘jeans’ and drew the gaze of nearly every man towards her and downwards. The Women, known as Scarlet, knew that they were looking, she could sense her gaze upon them and it seemed to bring a spring to her step. She was pleased by the attention and it had always been an important aspect of her job.
Scarlet’s occupation was not one that neither any Alversian nor anyone in this country would approve of, but it was one that she enjoyed personally. She was a Prostitute, a Whore, a Harlot, whatever one wanted to call it. That was what she did, she sold her body for money and, thanks to the incredible beauty of that body, she had found plenty of trade wherever she had gone. It was not the life that many would have picked and, in fact, a sizeable majority of people actively rejected her professional as a professional at all, instead they classed it merely as a bottomless pit where women who had no future and no hope of life threw themselves in the desperate hope that their only commodity would earn them enough to live on, their bodies.
Scarlet was not like that all. She had been in this line of work for nearly five years, ever since she had been fifteen and, contrary to the Critics who claimed she must be an uneducated Slut who opened her legs because that was all she could do, she was actually highly educated. She had gone through school with little difficulty and she had found University so easy that she had finished two years early on her course and gained full honours from it. No, she was not a Whore. She did it because she enjoyed it, it was a life she wanted to live and she wasn’t going to take advice from some Pansy who thought he knew her life better than she did. No, she did it because she enjoyed the lifestyle. The money wasn’t bad either.
Yes. Okay. Obviously, the money played a big part in it as well. It was very a much a reason why she had done it and she owed her currant position to the job she had taken all those years ago. She could remember it clear as day. She had been in School, sitting in the courtyard at lunchtime, eating with her friends when this one guy, a real jock had strutted up to her like he owned the whole damn world and asked her, bold as you like, if she would do anything he demanded for twenty Alversian Pounds. She had choked, the others had laughed and the guy had run off with his tail firmly between his legs. However, when she had thought about it, and thought about how much that money could help her. She went back to the guy and agreed for a price of forty pounds. Needless to say, what had followed would have got her expelled from School.
However, in the years that had followed, while her fellow students were struggling to pay student fees with terrible part time jobs, she was sleeping with Students, Customers, Teachers and earning more in one night of passion than her classmates earned in two months. It got her through school and it paid her way for university. She could have easily attributed her quick graduation down to continuous study, seeing as she only spent two, three hours working and got the rest of the time off, and she was still earning more money than many in her class could even dream of earning. Now that she was a young Professional, well, why quit such a successful job?
She finally found the entrance and walked through. The Staff ignored her as usual, while she strutted into the Queen’s room, given access by her Royal Guard as usual, coming in on a meeting between her Royal Majesty and some other pompous git. She laid eyes on the Queen and her heart melted as usual. She had never ‘done’ a woman before but this one was quite beautiful and she paid through the nose as well, so why argue. Besides, perhaps there was something more there.
“Hi,” She said in her most seductive tone and closed in for a kiss on the lips of the Queen.
The Queen of Kageb was the last person you'd ever think would ask for the services of a prostitute but it turns out that she had indeed been asking for them and so far she had been able to keep everyone in the darkness about it. She had been sleeping with Scarlet for as long as she could remember - using her private funds to pay the woman. Sometimes she would use Scarlet as someone who could dispel the stress and she appreciated how far Scarlet would go to ensure complete satisfaction. Here was the woman who was every man's dream - for the right amount of cash, she would do anything you ever wanted but you had to be in constant supply with the money if you wanted that to be an ongoing experience for you. As the Queen of Kageb, Ravana could have whatever she wanted but she was never sexually extravagant. Ravana felt attached to Scarlet in a way which - perhaps - transcended the confines of the harlot-john relationship and which could morph into something which could shake the foundations of the Queendom to the very core. For the love of being with another woman, the Queen could end up bringing down everything that her father had tried to conserve during his reign. It could bring down the wrath of an intolerant populace upon her and could force her to flee just like Espar had or there could even be something worse beyond the horizon.
Although the idea of kissing this woman would have certainly been pleasurable and would have probably led to a romp in the chambers, the Queen pushed Scarlet away with a distressed look. "Oh, Scarlet, I can't be with you right now - even though the idea certainly is arousing......I'm busy with matters of state. When I am finished with my work, I promise you that we'll have some fun. Hopefully I can see you tonight as well if that's possible."
The Queen, though, offered the harlot a grin and whispered in her ear that she'd be expecting her in the bedroom when she was finished with her work. After all, what better way to drown one's worries about diplomatic relations than to indulge in something this pleasurable? It did not take long for the Queen to be finished with her work before she drifted into the bedroom, locking the doors and spending quite some time with this arousing visitor - drowning her worries. Perhaps, when she was refreshed, she'd be told of some successes overseas with the program, but all that was on her mind now was the name that simply rolled off her tongue. Scarlet.

Scarlet lay in the royal bed, the Queen sitting nearby, thouroughly satisfied by what had happened here in the immediate past. She had been here innumerable times before, employed by the Queen now on an almost constant basis. She did not ask why it was here that had been chosen, though she did wonder why the Queen seemed more tense today than normal. She lay in the bed, her splendid body fully exposed above the bedsheets,
"C'mon Honey," She crooned seductively, "You seem tense tonight. Is there something you wanna talk about?" She moved forward onto her belly, ankles crossed behind her, toes pointing,
"You can speak to me."
OOC: This thread is open to all diplomatic requests, etc - the whole Ravana-Scarlet angle will be a recurring story that is tied to the prospect that some people will not accept a lesbian monarch on their nation's throne.
The Queen didn't really seem to want to talk about the prospect that people would discover and come to show intense discontent with her chosen orientation. Although she was largely not ashamed of being a lesbian, there was that part of her which warned her of the possibilities that could unfold if the masses came to know about what she was doing. Even if she was accepted as a lesbian, would they be so warming to the fact that she was sleeping with a harlot? They would probably have hated her for that, demanding answers about it, perhaps even wanting her to abdicate in the name of morality - something which would bring shame to the House of Charka even more so than Espar running away with his supermodel girlfriend, who had been accepted by the masses after the brief moments of debating over whether or not he should have taken the throne - Ravana knew how he was meant to be the King of Kageb while she would be nothing but a princess.
As she turned around to look over at Scarlet - admiring the marvelous physique of this woman whose services she never regretted purchasing - Ravana thought about how she had so far dealt with her lesbianism. It wasn't known by her parents or anyone in court how she ogled her fellow girls and how she had hoped to pursue a relationship from time to time. Ravana had been tormented for years. "Scarlet, I'm alright. You don't need to concern yourself with my work."
Ravana leaned over beside Scarlet and gave her a tender kiss before smiling. "Let's not mull over what's going on. Let's just enjoy the time we've got together here, alright?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
While the Queen and her mistress were busying themselves with a work of intense and blissful passion, Baron Soryana had been anxiously awaiting news of any diplomatic messages from the leaders of the world, sighing bitterly that nothing from them had come in yet, worried that he'd be forced to tell the Queen that no one was caring to come to talks or anything like that. The Baron knew that his job could end up a thing of the past if he didn't do good here in the Foreign Ministry - he hoped someone would send at least one message to him, even one, because that would still be something, at the very least.
His secretary was working hard on her own work in that little secretary's suit that you could have found being sold at a specialty clothing business. She was a pretty girl who you'd think would be constantly flirted with, but there was a high level of decency within the halls of the Foreign Ministry's offices, not to mention that the secretary was already in a relationship with a local man. The Baron himself had a son and a daughter from his wife who was pregnant with their third child. He loved his wife - with all of her sophistication and exoticness - while the secretary was in a happy relationship with the local businessman she met at a cafe.
Romantic ventures aside for a moment, the Baron Soryana was distressed over the lack of responses to the messages he had sent out. Didn't he say that Kageb was looking for new friends? Didn't he say that it was looking to open relations? Kageb was a friendly nation.....didn't the world notice? The Baron sighed. Being Foreign Minister was never doing anything more than sending and recieving messages. Eventually he called it a night. Rising from his seat at his desk, he trekked down the halls of the Foreign Ministry's headquarters while his secretary was following, chatting to her lover on the cell phone she had purchased. The winds were blowing, he thought, as he slipped into the limosuine and proceeded to get home to his wife and children. It didn't take long for him to get to his home mansion, where his wife would be waiting for him in her elegant maternity dress - where dinner would be served as it always had, where his children would be doing schoolwork or playing video games.
Baron Soryana entered his mansion to recieve a kiss from the Baroness Soryana who had the looks of an angel in her husband's opinion, luscious hair and curves in all the right places made her look like Botticelli's Venus more than an average woman. "How was your work today?" His wife asked before leading him to the living room while explaining how dinner would be ready in five minutes. The Baron was happy around his wife - that's one of the reasons why he married her sometime after meeting her at the nobles' gathering. He pursued her passionately like a knight would a damsel, and was able to get her as his wife according to the laws of the realm. "Work wasn't really good. No one really is taking an interest in our diplomatic outreach program."
The Baroness smiled. "Don't just lose faith after one day of failures, my love. Don't they not say that good things come to those who wait? Have patience and you will find success."
The Baron laughed. "Oh, I haven't lost faith yet."
The tocsin to attend to the dinner table eventually began to ring as the Baron spoke with his wife - he knew this when the children began rushing downstairs as they always had - full of energy and acting like a couple of rabid dogs. At least in his opinion, but that wasn't to say that he didn't love them. Far from it.
"Come on, dear, put away the past and look forward." said his wife.
"Yes." The Baron said.
He wondered.

Re: Opportunity
First, a bit of introduction. On behalf of the Confederacy of Defense Corporations, a league of firms and individuals united in their belief that universal defense means universal peace, I am Ming Law, an attorney with full power to represent the Confederacy's possible affairs in Kageb. What do we see in Kageb? We see a strong, stable monarchy, with stout, hardworking citizens. We see a state that deserves a strong defense and a vibrant economy.
We propose the following: first, as with any other state, we invite you to consider purchasing from our catalog (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=587171). Second, we request permission to establish factories in your state, guaranteeing stable employment for those unfortunate enough to slip between the cracks. Third, we request permission to sell certain products to your nobility. Surely, they enjoy a good hunt, and deserve fine hunting rifles for that purpose; furthermore, surely, they enjoy the latest fashions, both domestic and strikingly foreign! Finally, we invite you to invest in our research and development process. This would entail both direct financial investment and the assistance of your military; you would be granted royalties for sales of any design we develop with this assistance, along with unlimited domestic production rights for the design.
On a more personal note, regardless of your decision, would Kageb be open to tourism in the summer? If so, what would you recommend for a mother and her young daughter?

Viscount Kaurov had been the minister in charge of national defense ever since the beginning of the Queen’s father’s reign and unlike the other nobles who had some sort of sophistication around them, the Viscount was more of the down-to-earth sort of individual who could communicate quite well with the commoners who had worked under him and who could keep relations with fellow nobles on a satisfactory level, most of them not minding the differences that had been laid between them. It happened to be the Viscount who received Ming Law’s message in accordance with the Queen’s decision to let him know of it. It didn’t seem to pose any problem for him to give it his support. Thank God, the Queen thought; because she had seen much favor for it building after she had read it and there was a hope in her mind that the deals made would bring much benefit to the nation. She assumed the final question was something that could result in a visit from someone important in the Confederacy in question. It was essential in the opinion of the Minister for Tourism that the mother and daughter be notified of all that the nation had to offer them such as annual festivals and visits to museums chock full of ancient artifacts and very important trinkets – there was a lot of natural beauty for them to look upon, plenty of food to dine on, and some local men for the taking if the mother happened to be single and looking, something that Count Lamin had felt was a possibility in the cards and he felt satisfied, in the end, with what touristic information had been written down.
From the Official Reply of Her Majesty the Queen, Ravana, of Kageb to Ming Law of the Confederacy of Defense Corporations: "It would be a pleasure for the Queendom to accept all the offers you mentioned in your letter to us. Enclosed in our reply is some pamphlets which the Minister of Tourism feels will enlighten the mother and young daughter in question concerning summer events and places where they may wish to visit."
After the message had been sent, the Queen decided to go for a walk in her garden. Scarlet was going to come to the palace late at night, she remembered, because she had ordered her services again but that would be her last night with her for a while because a harlot could never accompany the Queen on her national tour – a publicity stunt designed to make the populace know how much the Queen cared for them. The Queen’s plan was always to make sure that they knew she cared, even though she struggled with the knowledge that she should never have even taken control. The Queen walked through the blossoming garden while soldiers patrolled the immediate area in search for possible assassins and stalkers. These men composed the Royal Guard, a prestigious group of soldiers which only the best of the best were permitted to join. These men could always be trusted to be coldhearted and brutal in defense of the Queen, especially when you had a badass commanding them with his sheathed sword at the waist. The Royal Guardsmen marched around stoically while the Queen pranced in the garden. Afterwards, the Queen withdrew into the palace and fled to her study where she threw herself upon the seat and lit up the fireplace because it was quite cold out. Queen Ravana sighed as she slouched in her seat. She wondered what business she had ruling over an entire nation. As Scarlet was probably making her way towards her room, the Queen sighed again before looking over towards the door of the room. Scarlet was the dispeller of her nervousness. She had her around last night, why not another?

Scarlet wandered through the palace again, as she always had done, weaving her through the corridors and hallways to the Queen's Room. She passed shocked Servants, horrified Guards and more than a few disgusted Nobles. She ignored them all and continued forward, knowing with satisfaction that, no matter what they said, no matter how loudly they said it or how bad the words were, she knew their eyes were dropping down to her tight rear in every circumstance, watching her strut with every step. She may not have the influence or the connections of these people, but she had her body and that was more than enough to make up the difference.
She opened the door to the Queen's Room and stepped in, closing it behind her. She was wearing even more seductive clothes than before. Aside from the regular short top that showed off her belly, she was also wearing a skirt so short that it barely stretched down past her thighs. In fact, every single movement, allowed a peak of her. It was not helped by the fact she was wearing see-through underwear. She had worn these specifically for Ravanna on this night, as a present for her going away. Despite that she was a job, like any other, Scarlet actually felt a strong attachment to her. She wanted to stay with her.
She pushed her deep, luxurious red hair out of the way and smiled,
"Hi," She murmured, entering the room and sitting on Ravanna's lap, "I hear you're going on tour soon," A pout, "Do you have a Secratary job available to a University Graduate?" She asked, fluttering her eyebrows.

"A letter this time," Ming said. "Not our usual memos. A Queen deserves a letter - especially one I might meet myself."
"Why does a Queen deserve a letter, Mama?" her daughter asked, walking over in her nightgown.
"Yu? You're awake at this hour?"
"I had a bad dream. I was lost, and I didn't know where my home was on the map."
Ming sighed. She'd get back to the letter in the morning.
---
Your Majesty Queen Ravana,
I greatly appreciate Your reply for both its promptness and its contents. We are delighted at the chance to work with You, and will be looking forward to a productive relationship together. In a few months, when my daughter and I visit, we hope we might see You in person, if we have time between all the attractions of Your fine country and the business I will have reviewing the progress of our partnership.
Now then, with regards to the details. First, in terms of the factories we intend to establish, what sort of regulations would apply to them? We are not familiar with the laws and customs of Your domain, and wish to avoid insult. Second, we would like permission to set up direct importers in Your major cities, and to print advertisements in the refined magazines and newspapers, those that are fit to read for a member of Your court. Finally, what does the Minister of defense regard as the most pressing needs of Kageb's defenses? We have some research projects that we are currently working on, if Your military has no particular need for an upgrade, but would like to hear from You first.
It has been a pleasure working with You. I look forward to doing so on a more personal level in the near future.
Sincerely,
Ming Law

At first the idea of calling a common harlot the Queen's official secretary during one of her national tours was something that probably would have been considered asinine - it could end in the ultimate ruination of the Queen's reputation and perhaps her very hold on political authority in the realm. Yet, it was appealing to have someone you knew and could count on as a secretary - but couldn't Scarlet stab her in the back? Not only that posed a problem for the Queen but the part of her that wanted her around was kicking in. After some silent thinking, the Queen made this common harlot the Official Secretary of Her Majesty and told her to prepare for the trip to the first set of cities.
Baron Soryana was very happy with the fact that the Alversians had sent him a message concerning diplomatic relations - he had not known how far they had really infiltrated his beloved homeland but perhaps that would be revealed to him sometime in the future. As he sent them the usual formula of an acceptance of an exchange of embassies and of the meeting of diplomats, he wondered if any more messages had come in the mail. The secretary had said that none had at all but the happiness did not leave him.

Scarlet stood in front of the Queen's Mirror, examining her rear in the tight business suit that had come from the very tailor of Royalty himself. She was wearing something so rare and exclusively expensive that she could never have afforded it, even with the sums of money that her occupation offered. She cooed in admiration as how it showed off her body in a refined and dignafied manner. She supposed that was the quality of production,
She turned to face Ravanna, offering a sultry smile,
"It's beautiful," She complimented.

Elsewhere, an Aircraft took off from Alversia, heading towards the Capital City, carrying a Diplomat to meet with the Foreign Minister of Kageb. There were things to discuss.

<<OOC: In the message, did it speak about Kageb's ruler being a Queen? I ask as you don't have the message in the opening post.>>

OOC: It would have said that - I didn't type out the message but rather said it was the usual sort of message anyone gets in diplomatic circles. I apologize for any confusion pertaining to the Queen, who functions as an absolute monarch for your future reference.

"It is as beautiful as you are, Scarlet. I'm glad you like it - you're going to have to wear it due to your new position. We can't have my secretary in those other clothes, can we?" The Queen replied with a grin.

There were a group of officials waiting at the airport for the Alversians. When they landed, the Alversian diplomat would be swiftly taken to the Foreign Minister's office deep within the confines of the capital.

OOC: Yes. It would say that her name is Queen Ravana of Kageb and all the lovely little titles collected over the years by monarchs.

"Mmhmm" Scarlet licked her lips and, throwing off the trousers of the business suit, settled down on Ravanna's lap, throwing her hands behind the Queen's head and faking a pout, flashing her eyelashes as she did so,
"Awww...but then you don't get to see me do my job right," She purred into Ravanna's ear, "And I am very good at my job." She giggled, "Does this mean I get a double salary?"
The Queen was surprised at how much Scarlet seemed to fancy her line of work but one can only guess that she simply had passion and wasn't it wrong to have that restricted? As the Queen held Scarlet to her bosom, she whispered that if she simply did what she was told over the next few weeks, she'd recieve something that was better than money - a wink symbolizing what that specifically had been. "For now, though, get dressed up again. I'm going to have you around as my assistant for a series of diplomatic meetings. Possibly."

"Oh," Scarlet giggled at the answer and quickly slipped the trousers back on, pushing her brilliant red hair out of her face, she managed to look impossibly seductive even when fully dressed,
"Certainly, your Majesty, where am I needed?"

Richard Lee, head of the Department of Foreign Affairs looked over a memo that the Royal President sent to him and sighed a bit “Well looks like he wishes to go there, so I shall right a letter to them.” He grabbed a quill pen and a jar of ink only used for official letters to other nations. He then began to write a letter which he would then send off for approval from the Royal President. He soon finished the letter and sent it off to the Royal President. He then received it after an hour with no comments on changes and with his signature. He then put it into an official envelope and addressed it to the Foreign Ministry of Kageb.

Official Communiqué from The Royal Republic of the Emmerian Unions
To whom it may concern,
We have been reviewing your request for diplomatic relationships with other nations and have found that it would acceptable to establish such relationships you’re your nation. And as such, we would like to set up a private appointment between your Queen and our Royal President, as he has stated that he would speak with no one other then your ruler, and that such matters are best dealt between two rulers in a face to face meeting, in a private meeting. If this is acceptable we shall tell him about it. And should he travel by his personal Supersonic Transport (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/48/Sukhoi-Gulfstream_S-21.jpg) it would be advisable to have crash teams at the airport on standby as the pilot is a bit insane as he like to make landings at near the speed of sound. And we would also like to have four members of the Royal Assassin Guard to accompany him just to serve as bodyguards for him just incase anything happens. We would also like to have knowledge of your customs so that our Royal President would not offend your nation and cause an international incident, and/or risk war with your nation on a cultural faux pas. We would also like to extend an offer of a personal tour of our own country by our Royal President to your Queen, if this is acceptable we shall set up a timeframe for the tour. Oh, and if you can could you please tell us about how cold it gets during your nation’s winter, as our Royal Presidency like rather cold weather.
Sincerely,
Richard Lee
Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs
Sincerely,
Tazuren Savu’len
Royal President of The Royal Republic of the Emmerian Unions
<<OOC: Sorry if there is repetitiveness in it.>>
Olyan had always been the capital of Kageb - ever since the earliest monarchs had nominated the city as the heart from which blood flowed through the veins of the entire realm, from which the monarch could issue his or her decrees and promote - or demote - individual governors under their own volition. It was not only the capital of Kageb from the political level, but was also treated as the capital of culture through plenty of architectural and artistic creations of legendary note being located within its confines, through the custom of K-Metal bands relying on recording studios within Olyan, and that athletic tournaments often were conducted in Olyan, for here was the Queendom's greatest city - the heart of a nation with millions of blood cells living and dying for centuries within it, around it.
It was a clear and sunny afternoon in the city of Olyan, the people were just heading off to school and work while others jammed to K-Metal songs or congregated in cafes and parks to talk about whatever came to mind. A movie crew was filming a scene in one district of the city while another district would have a farmer's market setting itself up for the daily intake of women looking for ingredients for their dinners. In this city, Queen Ravana had lived all of her life - her parents living there themselves for all their own lives. Olyan was where everything happened. The Queen awoke in an elegant nightgown while Scarlet wasn't anywhere to be found, the Queen deciding not to use her personal harlot's services that night. Breakfast, being the lonely and lacking-of-conversation event that it was, was when the Queen recieved a message from the Baron Soryana. He had sent her a copy of Richard Lee's letter and wondered what her opinion of it would have been.
The Queen ordered the immediate creation of diplomatic relations with the Emmerian Unions before resuming eating her breakfast while soldiers watched, being entrusted to protect the Queen no matter what the cost. She eventually changed into some better clothes and then withdrew into her own little world, which meant reading foreign affairs reports in her personal study while the Baron was connecting himself to Lee - his wife out with a friend while his children went to school - his daughter being enrolled in St. Johannes, an academy founded by foreign, Catholic missionaries. There was a school loved by the richest of the rich, because only nobility and aristocracy - the occassional wealthy commoners too - could get any of their children enrolled there if they had wanted.
After what seemed like quite some time with reading the message from the Emmerian, the Baron Soryana began to type up the usual we'd-gladly-be-your-friend-and-fully-accept-what-you-wrote sort of message that Lee would have probably wanted. He swiftly sent the reply before looking into finding his desired recreation.

Scipio Nemaraan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Free Republic of Ilek-Vaad had spent double the number of days he had planned in Port Olympus, hoping that someone, anyone from the Federation would be open to talk. Oh well. Instead he'd engrossed himself in Formula and kept his ear to the ground, possible new relations, Kageb, a Kingdom he'd never heard of.
"Well Alan, it can't be worse than Port Olympus, hopefully their capital isn't surrounded by Vrakian tanks." He says to his assistant with a grin.
He assistant , Mr. Cherkess, shrugs idly "I'll arrange for travel."
Meanwhile Minister Nemaraan pens a missive to Foreign Minister Soryana:
To: Foreign Minister Soryana, Kageb
From: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ilek-Vaad
Subject: Opening of Diplomatic Relations
Minister Soryana,
I would be most pleased to travel to your nation to explore the opening of diplomatic ties between our two nations. The Free Republic believes in forging positive diplomatic and trade relations where ever possible in the world. I am fortunately, un-engaged at this time and can travel to your nation at your leisure.
I hope that this will be a beginning of normalized relation between our nations.
I thank you,
Scipio Nemaraan
Minister of Foreign Affairs
The Free Republic of Ilek-Vaad
As it was sent, Minister Nemaraan's supersonic Marathon transport was readied. He was glad to be leaving the depressing environs of Port Olympus and the civil war wracked Federation. He hoped to meet some reasonable peoples.
